This is our second stay at Jasmine apartments. D was very friendly, helpful and efficient. It is really nice to be chauffered to the lift of your choice on a morning. Skiing was fantastic.
The apartment was warm, clean, well stocked with crockery and cutlery and there are plenty of drawers and wardrobes. The supermarket is up the hill nearby but at least when you have bought lots it is downhill back home!
The only issue was the size of the second bedroom. Although we knew it would be smaller than the second bedroom in the apartment we stayed in last time, we had not appreciated that there would be no gap between the two single beds, so making them was difficult.
Excellent flat and manager. We had a great holiday.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 boys (aged 9 & 7) and we stayed in the Lauberhorn apartment in Feb 2013. We rate the apartment, facilities and management extremely highly. The apartment was spacious with an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. It was very clean, well kept, modern and very warm with full underfloor heating. The manager D was really welcoming and helpful - providing great hints and tips for a pleasant stay. One of the key parts of our positive experience was the availability of D to transport us to the gondola stations each morning in the apartment van. This removed a considerable amount of stress and hassle every morning - particular as the children needed to be at the Firstbahn gondola for ski school most mornings. The ease of transporting all our gear every morning was quite simply invaluable - thank you so much! Grindelwald is such a great base for skiing in the Jungfrau region - I would not hesitate to go back and would be keen to stay in the same accommodation!

Great location. Clean modern furnishing. Comfortable beds, although there is no space between the 2 singles. Helpful caretaker.
Given the huge cupboard space in the kitchen, a few more crockery and cooking utensils would come in handy e.g wooden spoons, tongs, pasta bowls, roasting or oven tray. There were quite a few flies (maybe because of the goats next door?) so fly paper or something similar would be good.
Overall though we were happy with our stay here and would stay again.
We stayed in the Lauberhorn apartment in Feb 2012 and were very happy. We are a 4 person family (2 adults and 2 boys 10 & 8 yrs old) and the apartment was plenty big enough (with a nice central open area combining the kitchen and living room), very clean and well kept, and well managed. The property manager D was very professional and available to help us with any questions or assistance we needed.
A key part of our experience was the availability of D to deliver us to the gondola station each morning in the apartment van. This enabled our family to enjoy relaxing mornings and not have to worry about the infrequent bus schedule. For a family of our size trying to carry around ski gear, walk on steep hills in ski boots, make bus schedules, etc. this really made the apartment worth the money we spent.
Of our several experiences in various ski towns in Europe (Tignes, France Alpbach, Austria, others) we rank this as our favorite ski holiday to date.
We were delighted with our stay at Lauberhorn apartment.
The apartment is brand new and is located only a 5 min walk from the main town (although up a steep hill!), with supermarket and restaurants and train station. The kitchen was fully equipped - they even provided dishwashing tablets and liquid! There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for sharing in the complex which are coin operated. And there is free wi-fi. The apartment is a good size and there is an outdoor eating area. The property manager D was just great - really friendly, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and help us.
