This was a good villa, let down by a number of problems.

On arrival (Thur, for 1 week) there were only four towel sets provided. Apparently the agent was not expecting 8 people. The swimming pool was cold, full of dead insects and without a usable cover. We were told that the agent would look into this and report back the following day (Fri). Having heard nothing, we telephoned the agent on Saturday, who arranged for the 'pool man' to visit that day. He removed the dead insects, at our request, recovered a broken pool cover from the locked garage and laid it over the pool. We would need to fold it manually. By Monday the pool had heated up and we could use it. That afternoon a maintenance company arrived to remove the pool cover for repair. It would be returned on "either Wednesday or Thursday". Tuesday morning brought the same old problem, cold night + no cover = cold pool, effectively ending our use of the pool for the remainder of our holiday. On checking the website, we discovered that the villa would not be occupied the following week. Surely, with a little forethought, the cover could have been repaired then.

During our stay we found it necessary to buy 6 bathroom mirror lights as only 2 of 8 were functioning, both of them in 1 bathroom. We noted from the Visitors' Book that this problem had been ongoing since last October.

Bedroom 4 appeared to have mildew growing on the walls.

To summarise, a good, clean, well equipped villa, but let down by the lack, effectively, of a heated pool during what was an unseasonably chilly week in March.

From Leeds, United Kingdom Oct 2012

The Villa Sapphire was a very spacious, light and airy property which was well equipped to serve a party of eight adults. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet both night and day so a lovely relaxing holiday was experienced by all!
Although the Marina was only a 10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket was quite poor, so either taxis (very cheap!) or a car would enhance the stay.
But overall I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a fabulous break in Lanzarote!

From Woking, United Kingdom Apr 2012

The property is in an ideal location being less than 10 minutes walk to the Marina, which we much preferred to the main Playa Blanca tourist strip. There are also currently no other building surrounding the two villas which makes the outside area feel even larger than it is, and is unusual in this region as far as we could see. It is furnished to a very high quality, although let down slightly by a few areas which need minor repairs eg a gate that bangs in the wind next to the bedroom. We were delighted with our choice and thought the property was excellent value for money and provided a huge amount of space for our family of 3.
