A private pool and gardens so relax anywhere without being overlooked. Go for a long hike or short stroll. Bring your bikes and go cycling. 10 minutes to the major road for cities, culture or beaches.
With woods on 2 sides, an apricot farm in front (sometimes visited at weekends) and the drive to the other side, it is a private haven to relax in the gardens or chill by the pool and watch the sun go down on the mountains.
One of the national pastimes in Spain is walking. Take one of the many guided walks around the mountains, from a short stroll to a long walk, visiting lakes and historic churches and monuments. The area also has many cycling routes through the mountains and countryside so bring your bikes. No need to put them on your car, just set off. Then cook with the rosemary & thyme from the woods, pick a lemon or lime for your drinks and then siesta by the pool.
Depending on the time of year, other fruit and veg, may also be available for you - peaches, grapes, tomatoes etc. Please help yourself!
Young children can play safely in the gardens and paddle in the pond, whilst you relax with a book in the shade or bask in the sun. But when you want more, the excellent road network is only 10 minute drive away, so beaches and cities can be reached quickly.
The town of L'Olleria is a typical Spanish town and has everything you would need, shops, bars, cafes, hospital etc and 2 very good supermarkets. The chemist at the top of town speaks English.
The cheap rail network is only 15 minutes away so get to Valencia for only 6 euros. Valencia has everything you would expect from a city but there are many other towns worth a visit like Bocairent and Xativa.
INTERNET - With your free 3 sim card, you can enjoy almost unlimited data on your phone, 300 minutes of calls and 3000 texts. The area has excellent reception, so you can always keep in touch no matter where you are. You will need a mobile phone which is unlocked or works on the 3 network. Please note, you cannot use your phone to tether to a laptop. Excellent reception!
A pleasantly situated splendid villa. It is located between Valencia and Alecante and this particular fact let us explore the beautiful seashore and even some mountain areas nearby. Our children enjoyed the pool very much. Overall our family had a wonderful holpday..

Brilliant place for a lovely quiet relaxing holiday. Beautiful clean pool. Both grand children were swimming like fishes by the time we left. Deb, the local manager is only a phone call away should you need her. Lovely garden is ideal for relaxing and having an alfresco meal and our grand children found it an excellent place to play and stretch thier imagination.

We have just got back home from a fortnight holiday at this lovely house, with my partner and three boys, ages 6, 14 and 15. Prior to arrival, Angela the owner was so helpful, promptly replying to all my emails. We managed to get lost (note, despite Sat Nav) and in the early hours of the morning Angela did not complain when as a last resort we had to phone her to get directions. Her manager Debs was at hand if we needed anything and she was very helpful too.
The house itself is as described we absolutely loved the pool and spent many days just chilling out in and around it. I had been a bit concerned that the older boys might get a bit bored, especially as there is no Wi-Fi at the property, but they didn’t and in fact really enjoyed our most relaxed holiday ever! The house was well equipped. It is not especially spacious inside but the lovely conservatory area made it feel much more so. Aside from the pool the biggest selling point was the garden, It was so lovely, I really enjoyed wandering around always finding something new, the outside eating area was great and the solar lights at night were really pretty.
The town itself L’Olleria was not particularly interesting but very functional and has several supermarkets –I really liked the Mercardo. You definitely need a car and there are some nice places to visit nearby, Xativa is a lovely town with a great medieval area and castle. You can also catch the train to Valencia from there which is a must visit. We spent one day (30 euro return for the whole family) but if you wanted to go to the Bio-Parc which is supposed to be amazing or the Aquarium two would do it justice. The seaside is about 40 minutes away by car Gandia has long sandy beaches and nice places to eat.
I am sure there is lots more to explore in the area, but to be honest it was very hot and lazy days beside the pool where very appealing, which also as bonus made it one of our cheapest holidays ever! I would highly recommend this property, particularly if you prefer a more authentic Spanish holiday way from the resorts aimed at British tourists!

My husband and I had our first holiday, minus grown up children, for the first time in years. We were looking for somewhere quiet, private and out of the way of the more commercial areas. This is exactly what we got here!
Everything you need is at the villa for home-from-home comfort. The views are fantastic and to sit on the veranda in the evenings, watching the swallows and swifts display (catching the insects that dont get near you!), the rabbits playing in the next field and listening to the occasional bray of the next door donkey(!) was a pure delight....not to mention the stars after dark. And if you are a bit of a twitcher then the sight and sound of the resident Golden Oriole will really make your holiday!
As mentioned in the write-up, a car is essential as the villa is about 2.5 miles from town, which has everything you need but is not a bustling metropolis, its proper rural Spain where few speak English, so brushing up on the language basics would be a definite advantage. You would have to travel quite a bit further if you wanted some night life.....which we didnt! We did go for one day out around the traditional old town of Xativa, approx 10 miles away, and that was very pleasant.
All in all we cannot rate this property highly enough if you want out of the hustle and bustle and to relax in the beautiful surroundings of the mountains, trees, villa, gardens and pool. Oh, and the added bonus of fresh herbs, fruit and veg on site was great!
We didnt want to come home!

A wonderful experience of rural Spanish life without being too far away from shops etc. We had a fantastic holiday and the children spent most of the time in the swimming pool. We were amazed by the villa, the size of the grounds and the spectacular views from the pool. We would definitely book this property again having had a brilliant two weeks away from very hectic lives.

We hadn't visited Spain in February before and were unsure what to expect. The weather was wonderful though, warm and sunny during the day but cold at night. There was a good supply of logs though and the woodburner kept the house lovely and warm. It felt really cosy at night, a real home from home. We took a supply of DVDs with us for the evenings but there was a good supply there as well as books and board games. Obviously we didn't use the pool but did relax in the gardens watching the sun on the mountains - beautiful and went on lots of walks. L'Olleria is a typical Spanish working town and has everything you need including some beautiful churches, lots of friendly Spaniards and an English speaking chemist!!! The town of Bocairent is definitely worth a visit. We had a thoroughly good holiday.
We had a lovely relaxing week and found the house to be well equipped and comfortable. We expected to spend more time travelling and sight seeing but found it hard to tear ourselves away from the pool. There were some nice walks though and the view of the mountains, especially late afternoon is beautiful. The children loved picking the peaches and we loved the lemons for the drinks and salads. The town is about 10 minutes away and has everything you need including 2 large supermarkets and the locals seemed to appreciate our attempt at Spanish, as there is very little English spoken here. The sighting of one of the eagles was a real bonus. We would happily holiday here again. Thankyou, John and Freda.
3 bedrooms - 1double with en-suite shower room, another double and 1 single. House bathroom with shower only, no bath. Fitted kitchen, living room with open fire (very cosy in winter!) dining area. The living area ONLY has air-conditioning and the bedrooms have ceiling fans. (The tap water is drinkable). Large covered glassed in terrace with another dining table and coffee table with chairs. Outside, gazebo, pool with sunbathing areas and sunbeds, pond, paellero/BBQ, patios. Numerous different fruit trees, a vegetable plot and gardens. Pine woods on 2 sides, apricot farm and house in front and the drive to the other side. Stunning evening views of the mountains. Other houses dotted about, mostly owned as weekend homes by the local Spaniards. This is "Real Spain" so there is little English spoken but the locals will go out of their way to help you. A car is essential.
