Two bed (first floor) apartment consisting of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The double room has fitted wardrobe and 2 bedside cabinets. It is fully air conditioned. The twin room has 2 single beds, a free standing wardrobe and a bedside cabinet. An oscillating fan is supplied to cool the room.

The lounge has two double sofas, television with sky. Coffee table and tall lamp.

The american style kitchen is fully fitted with everything from microwave to toaster. Everything you need for a family meal. There is a breakfast bar with stools to dine.

The bathroom is fitted with bath/shower, toilet, sink, wall mounted vanity cabinet and cabinet for towels.

The small terrace has a table and chairs for dining outside. Two sun loungers are supplied for the pool area. (usually under bed). There is an airing horse to dry clothes outside. The apartment is fitted with shutters and an alarm.

The walled grassed pool area has a shower. The pool and grassed area are cleaned every day. The pool is just the right size to have a good swim and big enough for the kids to splash around in. The pool depth is deep enough to dive in and shallow at the other end for small children. The pool area is lit up at night and a wonderful setting to dine at night on the terrace. The pool is not usually very busy as most people go to the beaches, so a lot of the time you have the pool to yourself.

The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the main plaza so is very quiet at night with no noise from the bars and restaurants. There is a local bar with nightly music within 2 minutes, Morgans Bar,and a further bar called "Cheers" around the corner from the apartment if you cant be bothered to walk to the plaza. Next to Cheers Bar is a local grocery shop for all your small shopping needs, bread, milk, groceries, alcohol, newspapers, newly opened 2011. Saves you having to walk down to the Plaza. Cheers Bar great for breakfasts, lunch, dinner and nightly entertainment. New bar Morgans 2 minutes from the apartment, nightly entertainment and food . Some of the apartments are residential, so it must be a wonderful location to live all year round. The apartment is home from home and we invite you to enjoy a wonderful location.

Villamartin area, Costa Blanca
The reason we chose Villamartin was because it is an established resort with everything you need for a great holiday. There are shops at the plaza that have the usual everyday needs for a self catering holiday. There are numerous restaurants from Mexican to Italian. At night the plaza is lit up with holiday makers dining in the palm covered court with parrots nesting above. There are various bars on the three levels from the Irish bar and and many more pubs and restaurants.

The entertainment ranges from disco to karaoke or the singer belting out the old favourites. Music for every age young or old. All in a self contained plaza where the children can play safely. There is also a cinema and bowling alley.

For the golfer there is a challenging 18 hole championship golf course 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The Open was played here some years ago. The golfers can be seen around the resort driving back to their apartments in golf buggies. A further three golf courses are all a short drive from Villamartin. A golfers paradise!

If you want a change from the plaza, there is another development 15 mins walk from Villamartin called Los Dolses. It has the usual restaurants and bars. There is also a very good Thai/Japanese restaurant which would rival anything in Europe. For the budget minded there is also a chinese restaurant that has a buffet menu for €4.50 per person. It is very popular and you need to get there early.

There are several beaches 5 mins drive from Villamartin, so a hire car would be useful. The beaches are all blue flag and go for miles.

Places to visit on the Costa Blanca
The main town heading towards Alicante is called Torrevieja which is 15 minutes drive from Villamartin. There are all the quality shops you would expect of a larger town. It is also home to the hypermarket for all the smokers and drinkers. It has some lovely restaurants and a large marina. There is a promenade which stretches the length of the town and is lit up at night. A funfair is located at the seafront. The waterpark is also at Torrevieja

Heading towards Cartagenta is the Resort of La Manga, about 40 to 50 minutes drive where the England football team trained. It is the Las Vegas of the Costa Blanca and growing in popularity. In Cartagenta there is a roman excavation and museum, marina, boat excursions, and wonderful shopping in a old town, great for a day out.

A short drive from Villamartin is the charming village of San Miguel which is well worth a visit. There is a cave restaurant which is built into the hill and you have to book early. There is also a bar called the "peanut bar". It is a local's house who wanted to turn it into a bar several years ago. The Mayor refuse to give him permission (he had upset him somehow). So your drinks are free but you pay for the peanuts he serves with your drink!

Stayed Saturday 16 August 2014 with Family
Just returned from a week long stay with family and have to say that we were very pleased on all fronts, apartment had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend a car as the journey from the Murcia airport is approx 25 minutes and getting around on the road network is very simple. Handover of the keys was very good no issues, when we arrived at the apartment we found beer, wine and a few everyday essentials already there. We are already thinking of our next visit to the apartment, great location for golf lovers as its an ideal base.

Our second visit was not quite as smooth as the first with a minor mix up at check in, but Sharon was great again and sent the keys at a very late hour, thanks. The pool and grounds were very clean and well maintained and the apartment was also very clean however now needing a little TLC as is now getting a little tiered. But with this said it is still a great value base for what is a very nice area with the new shopping complex just down the road in La Zenia and the lovely beaches we all had a great time.

Very nice apartment in excellent area. Very quiet but within easy reach of all amenities and with its own communal pool. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you need whilst on holiday. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We arrived at 10.00PM and Sharon was there to greet us. She showed us round and told us what was what, then it was round to Morgans Bar for a night cap. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was fresh & clean. Plenty of spare bedding & towels. A well kitted out kitchen and air-con in the bedroom - heaven on those warm nights. The pool was cleaned daily and was lovely & cool after the beach. All in all we had a great 2 weeks break away from the UK and will be looking to stay there again in the future. Highly recommended.

Communication between myself and the owner and then the managers for the apartment was brilliant and cant fault it. The apartment itself is lovely and had everything we needed for our week stay. Lomas de Golf is not a beach resort, but there is a shuttle bus which runs to the beaches from Villamartin Plaza each day in high season. Book with that in mind and you will not be disappointed. We (3 adults) booked a week in early September, and arrived early afternoon meeting Pete the property manager at the Plaza. We had contacted him by telephone en route from Alicante, and his final directions were clear and easy to follow. Nice guy too! The apartment is on the first floor, and the steps are pretty steep. My wife struggled a wee bit, but she is not as mobile as she once was. My sis and I found it ok, but if you have kids, you might want to be careful. There is not much of a balcony/veranda and most of it was taken up with the sun-beds (2 off) which were stored there. Pete advised us to put them out next to the pool, telling us that they are quite safe left out and put back upon departure. There is security on site, and it is patrolled regularly so that items are not stolen. The balcony itself doesn’t really get much sun at that time of year so we didn’t sit out at all, preferring to sit by the pool or head off to the beach. The two bedrooms were more than adequate. Only one room, the double bedroom, has air conditioning but with the windows open, we found that there was sufficient breeze to keep the whole place relatively cool. This was with an outside daytime temperature of around 32deg C. The twin bedroom is a wee bit tight because of the biggish wardrobe, but we found it ok. There is a fan which we used during the night. The kitchen is great and the second fridge was welcome for cold drinks. There was plenty of room for food AND beer! We didn’t like the breakfast bar arrangement for eating, so we brought the little table in from outside. We only ate breakfast there so for us this wasn’t a great problem, but it might be an issue for families on a budget who want to fully self-cater. The TV worked perfectly, with satellite (not Sky) and there is a DVD player as well. More space could be created with a modern wall mounted-flat-screen and a single fridge which would make space for a proper table and chairs. If this review seems picky, it’s not meant to be. It’s honest and I have to say that the apartment was great value. We were not disappointed. We have paid a lot more for a lot less. The property was spotlessly clean, as was the pool and surrounding area. All in all, a great little property, which could do with a little TLC.

This is excellant for a holiday. The owners and their agents are very helpful and friendly. My grandson and I have been here twice now and both times he and I have found friendly neighbours. Weather in this region is also excellent. Bars and restaurants nearby offer good value for money. I feel the best one is Wolfies although all are good.

We had an ecellent holiday here. Ideal for children who enjoyed the pool greatly. The other owners were very helpful. We were met and taken to the property which was a great help. Most of the restaurants and local shops are within walking distance. If you do not have a car the local taxi service is very resonable. We would definately consider a return visit.

a bit of main tenance needs to be done in side, front door had to be lifted up and opened and obviously rainwater had got in and wall was black. Could not fault owner he was most helpful. The only criticism I have is that it was upstairs , the photo showed the whole property and 1st floor apartment was not on description and I did not think to ask. Location okay
Here for the second year running for our honeymoon. Total chill out week very quiet very relaxed just what we were looking for.Everything you need for your stay apartment really clean picked up and dro pped off at airport by Pete great guy do anything for you. Ideal spot with local bar (Morgans) just round the corner, staff really friendly great food very reasonably priced, ate there every night, if you like shorts then this is the place for you huge measures and again prices to die for. Will deffo be back again
Our meet and greet lady Sharon was lovely and helpful. The property was very clean and all you need there. The balcony was a little crammed with large furniture. We also needed the airer as we used the pool alot and needed to dry towels so more room on the balcony was taken up. A table and four chairs to sit and eat would have just been ideal. There was no barbeque. It was very busy and hot as we went in August and most of the surrounding properties were occupied hence the amount of people in the pool. Morgans bar was great we ate there a lot and it has Internet access. We enjoyed a meal at the plaza ( you can walk to morgans bar and the plaza) and of course the all you can eat Chinese buffet is a must. We only went to the beach once it was packed,too hot and too many people trying to sell you things! But there are many other beaches to try. You do need a car or you would be very limited. Great markets,Supermarkets and local shops everyone was so helpful and friendly.
enjoyed the break, apartment was everything advertised but would recommend a car if have children. expats who live around very helpful.Wolfies n the Plaza are great places to eat. lack of sound proofing could become an issue in busy periods,but if you dont mind the odd noise from around you then you will be fine. download a map of area before you go,we had an old map n found it a great help. Apartment has everything you need very well equipped indeed apart from plastic glasses for use around the pool,we left two that we bought but didnt get a chance to use lol
Thoroughly enjoyable stay ideal location for a quiet peacefull week will definately be booking here again for next year.
All in all a great base for some sun. Even better if you play golf with what looked a great golf club on the doorstep. Quite a way from the beach but as we had a car this was not a problem. The local contact Sharon looked after us very well and nothing was too much trouble for her. Both the appartment and the grounds were both clean and well kept. The appartment was well stocked with items to make you feel at home.
Firstly, i would just like to state that the money me and my party paid for the villa was of excellent value especially for the time of the year we visited. However, as clearly stated the apartment is not fully air conditioned and is only air conditioned in the biggest bedroom therefore everywhere else in the apartment is extremely hot plus there is not a safe. Also the walking and driving distances stated on the places to visit are not acurate they are much further than we were lead to believe. As we did not arrange any transportation with villarenters we were shocked to find that the area manger had drove to the airport and take us to the apartment, after i explained that i had already arranged transportation the area manger was rude to me and practically slammed the keys into my hand. After that "pleasent" insodent once arriving at the apartment the area "manager" also failed to make us aware that the was an activated alarm which we had no idea how to deactivate. There is clearly a lack of communication. On a more positive note, the apartment is very clean and met the needs of our party. I would be tempted to return purely due to the price and The Plaza which has a bar/restraunt tailored for everyone.

Thank you for the review, we appreciate feedback either positive or negative, as if we dont know what the problems are, we cant improve our service to our customers. We are pleased to note that the apartment is good value and clean, as these are vital for self catering premises. The apartment has fans in every room, we usually leave the bedroom door open which we find circulates the cold air to keep the apartment cool. But in August it is nigh on impossible to get the room like a fridge, as the door to the apartment is usually left open, and the pool is there to cool visitors down. Guests to the apartment are always given instructions on how the alarm system works. I will re-iterate this request to the keyholder to ensure this doesnt happen again. As to the travelling distances, we have gauged this from our own experience, and find that they are accurate. If some guests are elderly or have small children this will impact on time/distance. The transport issue I can only think is a breakdown in communication, we arrange transfers from airports, and they are carried out by the keyholder! As is the norm in Spain. Finally we have never had a complaint about the keyholder before, as can be seen from previous reviews, he has assisted us for several years now, a possible clash of personalities!

The apartment was well presented and had all the necessary things but could have been in a nicer part of the complex as the picture does not quite show where it is and what facilities are around.THere was a lack of local shops and we drove to the main supermarket as you could not walk easily.The main issue were the pools though well maintained through the day they accumulated a lot of rubbish na dsome very nasty things as well.THe accomadation was ok but the resrt too packed in and in the middle of nowhere.

Owner reply: We always welcome reviews, but on this occasion would like to point out the following. Our brochure quite clearly states that the shops are a 10 min walk or 5 minutes in the car. We always recommend for clients to hire a car, for shopping and to get to the beach. The nearest bars and restaurants are 5 mins through the complex. The complex is a well developed holiday home area, all the apartments are identical in appearance, and no part of the complex differ from the next. Our apartment has a pool directly outside, and as the reviewer pointed out these are cleaned everyday. We pay to have this done daily for all pools on site as part of our maintenance contract. As August is a busy time, you will find by the end of the day the odd insects, and odd rubbish around, but that is down to the people on holiday not following the pool area rules. This is something we have no control over. The area is not remote it is in the Villamartin community with a championship golf course alongside, and 10 minutes walk to the Plaza with all the restaurants, pubs and clubs you could possibly want while on holiday. Overall we are glad to here that our apartment was well presented, and that the reviewer was satisfied with the overall holiday experience.

The location of the property was ideal for our needs and as described. The overall accommodation was good, however we did encounter a few difficulties. The hot water heater took a very long time to heat up, had we known this we would have switched it on the night before. The electricity supply could only cope with one appliance operating at a time, e.g the kettle or a hairdryer, not both. The toaster was broken and the oven did not work.

Thank you for the last review, it is great to hear that visitors to the apartment agree that it is a wonderful location. That was part of the reason that we fell in love with the location and then the Murcia region. The apartment overlooks the pool, so children can play safely. There are local restaurants and bars two minutes from the apartment, or if you want a busier nightlife the Plaza is ten minutes walk. In regards the electricity this is a common problem in Spain and you just have to be sensible over the use of appliances. The electricity has been upgraded last year to enable more appliances to be used. But high voltage items like kettles and hairdryer can't be used at the same time, it will trip the fuse. I think a small price to pay for 300+ days of sunshine every year.March 2008 - Having our manager inspect the property, the toaster and oven do work, and have been tested.

I stayed for two weeks and it was Great Value for money. Excellent villa and site. Booking for next year. Highly recommended.
For the money, this is a great place to stay. The appartment was big enough for our 2 small kids, and there is so much in the area to keep the kids happy. The pool is nice. There are steps up to the appartment, which is not ideal for small kids, but not a major problem. The surrounding appartments in Sept were about half full, with the occasional noise disturbance, but nothing above what you would expect. Appartment is nice and clean on arrival. Would definitely recommend.
I could not fault the service offered by your company either before and for the duration of our holiday. My only complaint would be that there is a lot of building work taking place in the area at the moment which did cause some disturbance early in the morning. However this did not stop us from enjoying our holiday and I would certainly use your company again.

Thank you for the last review. We have repaired the door and it is in full working order. Painting completed in apartment. Full yearly maintenance completed last week, which we do every year. Jobs included new shower, shower curtain, general painting and repairs, new sun loungers. Glad to hear that having only one minor problem with the front door (due to wet weather over winter period) that the last guests in the apartment fully enjoyed their stay.We always welcome our customers comments. All building work is now complete around the development. The only work being carried out is internal, so there is no noise. The new buildings are behind the existing apartments and so are not visible. In regards to the last review it did mention that even when the building work was going on there was little noise and it did not detract from the enjoyment of the holiday.
