Fabulous 3 bedroom Penthouse set in the exclusive area of Veneziola, La Manga del Mar Menor. This property has access to a wonderfully maintained pool area, or for those who prefer the natural surrounding of the beach and sea, this urbanization is built right on the beach of the Mediterranean.
This apartment is situated on the 9th floor and has a lovely balcony with panoramic views of both the Mediterranean and Mar Menor seas and beaches, it has to be seen to be believed.
Fully equipped, this apartment is a 'home from home'. It is within walking distance of 5 restaurants, one of which being the famous 'Escuela De Pieter', people come from all over the region of Murcia to sample the fine cuisine and take in the incredible views, although it is most definitely family friendly, it is also one of the most romantic settings you could wish for, a beach side table can be reserved a few days before.
Just a few minutes drive away is the Tomas Maestre Marina, this is a beautiful port and has a myriad of restaurants catering for all tastes, from freshly caught fish through to Filipino & Mexican cuisine, of course, you can always order a traditional Spanish Paella and take in the tranquillity and sunset over the Mar Menor.

There are few places in the world where nature has provided the necessary conditions to convert them into virtual paradises. There are also very few locations in the world where this privilege is doubled by environmental and geographic aspects. La Manga is one of them.

La Manga is located on the Costa Calida ("warm coast") in Murcia. This area of Spain has one of the healthiest climates in the world, with around 300 days of sunshine each year.

In Spanish "La Manga" means "the sleeve", and from a distance it looks like an arm stretching out across the Mediterranean. La Manga is a strip of land 22 kilometres in length with sandy beaches that run along both sides. The strip has an average width of 300m and stretches from the fishing village of Cabo de Palos in the south to San Pedro in the north. The strip acts as a barrier between the Mediterranean on one side, and the Mar Menor on the other.

The Mar Menor ("little sea" in Spanish) is Europe's largest salt-water lagoon with calm, warm waters. Its popular with people who enjoy water sports such as wind-surfing and kite-surfing. Scuba-diving is also a popular sport in La Manga and there's a range of diving schools catering for everyone, whether you're a beginner or a pro. One of the most popular dives is the dive around Isla Grosa, which takes you through the beautiful quartz caves.

Near La Manga is the Calblanque Nature Reserve, a protected area since 1987 and a nature reserve since 1992, and one of the last untouched areas on the Mediterranean coast. Even today it remains a site of unrivalled natural beauty.

The nearest cities to La Manga are Cartegena and Murcia. The closest towns are Los Belones, Cabo de Palos, Los Nietos and Mar de Cristal.

Apartment was okay but not great. Staff were very nice and quick to get us checked in. Apartment is a good size and clean. AC unit had issues and worked on and off. No dishwasher in the kitchen and the kitchen is not overly well equipped for cooking. Pool at the complex was always packed with small kids so we didnt get a chance to use it. Very nice view from the balcony but the AC unit is on the balcony well so if that is running while you are out there its noisy and hot. Overall decent value for the money.
