Newly renovated luxury villa set in a quiet urbanisation on a mountain top overlooking the Mediterranean. The views from the front of the villa are quite stunning - all the rooms benefit from this.
The villa has two double bedrooms, both with ensuites and an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. It sits on top of a mountain with far reaching views of the Girona valley and the Mediterranean. Set in an exclusive urbanisation it benefits from privacy, peace and quiet, with all home from home conveniences included. It's only a 10-15 minutes drive from the coast or inland to the quaint Spanish villages.
Benidoleig village is a 3 minute drive away down the mountain. The beautiful Jalon Valley with its many bodegas to please the wine enthusiast is 15 minutes by car. Approximately 45 minutes drive takes you to the historic mountain village of Guadalest, passing the Algar water falls on the way. A drive up to Benimaurell (famous for its cherries) takes 15 minutes where you can explore the stone and white washed village with breathtaking views to the Mediterranean.
The local village of Benidoleig has a bank, a small supermarket, bakery, newsagent, tobacconist, chemist, hairdressers and numerous bars and restaurants. You will find many local fiestas in Benidoleig and the surrounding villages during the summer months which are great fun (please ask us for dates and details). A large shopping centre is located in Ondara (10 minutes by car). Around the valley most villages offer excellent value 'menu del dia' (three courses and wine for under 10 euros).

We had a lovely week staying at Casita Leon. We would thoroughly recommend it for a totally relaxing holiday with spectacular views from the villa . The villa is spotless and has everything you could possibly need from kitchen utensils to swimming pool inflatables !! Michael the owner who lives next door is a lovely man - on hand if any advice is needed but only if you ring his bell - otherwise you wouldn't know he is there!! We would totally recommend Casita Leon !
The villa is absolutely stunning!! The pictures dont do the property or the location justice. It is very quiet and secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. The pool was a little chilly as it was the end of October but it still looked inviting enough to go in everyday. The property has everything you could need for a very comfortable stay and the local village has everything you could need so further travel is not required.
It was easy to book and communicate with the owner through this site and he was very helpful and full of useful advice about where to go and what to see.
A car is most definitely required and I would suggest something with a powerful engine or a turbo as the drive up the mountain can be a little steep at times, but the view from the front of the villa makes it totally worth it when you get there!

Accessibility: The villa is not ideal for people with mobility problems as there are a few steps. For example, there are four steps to the front and two if the side passage is used to access the areas around the villa. There is an additional step to access the villa itself. Outside: There is a very private 9x5 pool directly behind the villa with terrace for the sun loungers and a table and chairs. To the front of the property is another seating area with table and chairs enabling visitors to enjoy the panoramic views whilst eating al fresco. A charcoal bbq is also available. The urbanisation, on which the property is located, has two large communal pools, a tennis court and a bar/restaurant. Important notes on accommodation: Please note that the second bedroom is accessed from an external staircase. For this primary reason this property is not suitable for children (also the bed is a double and most residents here appreciate the peace and quiet!).
