Summary of Lemon Tree Villa
The villa is ideal for a nice relaxing family holiday away from the hustle and bustle of large resorts. All your requirements are at hand and are within easy walking distance. I would advise you to hire a car so you can make the most of the facilities and sight seeing within the area.
This Villa is stunning and the photos don't do it justice. The pool area is gorgeous and everything is there for you to enjoy including sun loungers, parasols and a shower.
The villa keepers Spike and Kay were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. They welcome you to the villa and explain how everything works and even get groceries for you for a small cost. Kay even bruished my Autistic daughter's hair when we were leaving as we were trying to get the cars packed.
The beach is a short drive away and so are many lovely bars and restaurants. It is possible to walk to some bars restaurants etc about 20-30 mins.
If you go to the local tourist office, they will give you information on coacj excursions to Guadelest, Benidorm and there is a firm that will take you to Benidorm and back for 10 euros and drop you off and pick you up at any of Benidorm"s theme parks if you would rather not drive..
I would say hiring a car is definitely recommended.
All in all we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend this Villa. .
Joan, many thanks for your kind review. I was pass on you regards to Kay and Spike.

Without wanting to give a bad review on the villa, as the villa itself is really lovely, but when i booked the villa it was advertised as having Sky tv and wifi, the sky tv aspect really not an issue but having teenagers and having no wifi was dissapointing.  The distance to the beach was a lot further than it reads, easily accesible is not a phrase i would use, you can not walk to the beach it is just way too far,and walking along a dual carriage way not easily accesible at all. Having said all that we had a good time but definately not somewhere for families with older children unless you hire a car, there is just nothing for them to do outside of the villa. There really isnt many bars/restuarants within walking distance. Anyone with young children who are happy to stay in the villa and enjoy the pool then definately couldnt go wrong, the villa has everything you need for this type of holiday.
Kerry, sorry to see that you were not content with certain advertising of the villa. This is the first negative comment we have received and are surprised that nobody has mentioned this before after 6 years of rentals! Please be aware that Sky TV or WI-FI is not mentioned in the advert it is listed as Satellite TV (which it is!) I have never had WI-FI. The distance to the beach is described as reasonable which it is being a 10 min drive away - the advert does not mention walking distance. The additional cost for the AIRCON is clearly listed in the booking – why it was not on your invoice I have no idea because it should have been. This is something I will raise with Villa Renters. The other point is that you mention Bars/Restaurants are not close by – there are a 10 min walk away! Would you prefer they were outside the front door, if so maybe you should have gone to Benidorm. Apologise for my negative response to you but your points are not entirely correct or justified.

We had a fantastic time at the Lemon Tree Villa . All communication before our arrival was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Roy welcomed us on arrival and showed us around we were more than delighted with the Villa . The photographs do not really do the villa justice.... it is very spacious, immaculate has every convenience you can think of the pool area is hard to pull yourself away from !
Its located in a really quite street with lovely views of the surrounding villas and fields and mountains/hills at the bottom of the street . We did not hire a car but this wasnt a problem . The nearest shops /restaurants / bars etc are only a mere 10/15 minute walk . There is also a huge supermarket on the urbanisation same distance away and if you have a car there is an Iceland store minutes away . The beach at Guardamar is a must , long promonade backed with shops and restaurants and a beautiful park with childrens playground , cafe and pools and streams with terrapins . Great area to relax and cool down after being in the sun !
We were a group of four friends just away for a long weekend and we would all love to come back to the Lemon Tree Villa ! Thank you so much for making our stay perfect !

Our third villa holiday and by far the best villa we have stayed at. A big thanks to Grant for allowing me to adjust our party size. The villa was excellent in a quiet location with bars and restaurants nearby. I would recommend this villa to friends and family and would certainly hope to return for another relaxing holiday.

This was our first non package holiday and what a great choice. The villa was far better than the photos show. The drive from the airport was only 20 minutes and we were met at the villa and shown round and made to feel very welcome. The villa was spotless and the air conditioning was a welcome break from the midday sun. The facilities were excellent and we couldnt have asked for any more. The villa is situated in a nice quiet area but there are a few pubs and eating places within a short walking distance. Also very centrally located for some lovely towns and villages. I would recommend this villa to anyone and hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.

The villa was absolutely brilliant. In fact, it was so good that the kids wanted to spend the whole time there. The pool was a god-send, particularly in the heat of a Spanish summer the villa was in immaculate condition it has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday and the caretakers were extremely helpful.
If you are looking for an outstanding family villa for up to six people within striking distance of Alicante then look no further! Would I recommend to a friend? I already have!

Just back today........and I must admit...the Villa was everything and so much more...beautiful ! Wife, myself, two sons, daughter in law and our 3 year old grandson on a family holiday...we could not have asked for anything more. The weather was scorching and the pool (which was spotless) felt like a trip to paradise. We were met by Rhoda who was very helpful, pleasant, and friendly. Great time from the word go.
Thankyou for a wonderful immaculate Villa.
Lee/Sam - Cameron, Amy, Dominic ྐྵ May - 01 Jun 08)The villa was the perfect place to relax, we spent a few days at the villa as we had to drag the kids out of the pool. Aqualandia was a fantastic day out and we all tried 'go karting' just down the road which was a big hit. We will recommend to all our friends.
Chris/Trish Mountain and family ྱ - 26 Oct 07)Everyone has said it already 'your villa is lovely' we fly back tomorrow with a bad case of 'villa envy'. Alicante is great by the marina and the local restaurants superb. We would love to return soon.
Andy/Sally Johnston Ɣ - 11 Oct 07)We depart for home today after seven delightful days at Lemon Tree Villa. The villa is marvellous in a lovely setting, quiet and relaxing. The pool is a great asset and the French Restaurant is something else.
Debbie/Will Butler 4/7/07 – 12/7/07 from GloucesterThank you to Alan and Rhoda for a very clean villa. Had a fantastic relaxing time and the pool is great. For a day out I would recommend Terra Mitica Theme Park up by Benidorm (45 min drive). Great restaurants in the area.Darren/Louis Fisher 19/6/07 – 3/7/07 from CredenhillAmazing villa with great attention to detail which meant we had a stress free family holiday. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool every day. I can recommend Elche for a day out with younger children (take swim kit for the pool rides). The Pasty Shack was great for a lunch time bite and the Italian was superb.Geordie/Shirley Knox 6/6/07 – 13/6/07Thanks for letting us stay in your villa, what a lovely place. On arrival greeted by Alan & Rhoda who had the villa prepared to perfection. Ideal place to chill and recharge batteries. Pool superb and really clean. Very good choice of restaurants all within walking distance. Would love to return in the near future, will diffidently be recommending this to everyone we know.Shaun/Jess Philips 25/8/06 – 8/9/06 from HerefordThis is by far the best family holiday we have had. The villa is lovely and has everything we could ask for. We didn’t do any day trips. No need to go as the pool was more than enough for the kids. They did however go Go-Karting near LIDL which was great fun. Highly recommend 2 restaurants the Bistro near Harleys and the Italian (La Faniglia) a few doors down from O’Neil’s. We loved it here and would love to come back.
