The region boasts possibly the best climate in mainland Spain throughout the year, with approx 310 days of sunshine and average daytime temperatures of 30 degrees C in summer and 18 degrees C in winter.
Spacious, modern, light and airy the apartment is part of the Frente Marino community which has swimming pools, tennis courts and beach showers for residents use. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped for your stay.
Air conditioning and under floor heating mean the apartment is comfortable all year round. In addition the Marina is lively during the summer and does stay quite busy during the winter months.
Enjoy outdoor living throughout the year by making full use of the private roof top solarium. Sunloungers, Garden furniture, and a built in BBQ are provided for your enjoyment - there is even a shower for when you need to cool off quickly !
SATELLITE TV is available in the apartment with english channels such as BBC, ITV etc.
Whats in the immediate locality?
An attractive walkway with palm trees leads to the Tomas Maestre Marina, which is a gentle 2 minute stroll away - here you will find numerous restaurants with romantic sunset views of the Marina and Mar Menor. Alternatively take a boat trip to the islands in the Mar Menor and enjoy the superb restaurants here too.
Shops, bars and banks together with an excellent bus service are all within a short walking distance making car hire optional.
Whether you enjoy sunbathing, golfing, sailing, water sports or beach activities then this beach side apartment is a perfect base your holiday.
There are over 40Km of white, sandy beaches. The shallow crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor are ideal for children and families or alternatively if you prefer the waves of the mediterranean for a spot of wind surfing, then the choice is yours.
This is a great area for a great Spanish getaway. This area is not over commercialised and offers a perfect retreat with plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
What is there to do nearby?
La Manga has a very good bus and ferry service if you prefer not to drive.
Why not visit Cartagena, the oldest sea port in the world. Here you will find roman digs, museums and beautiful buildings still showing bullet scars from the Civil War.
In contrast, Murcia, only 30 minutes from the Mar Menor has a more cosmopolitan feel with a large variety of shops. The network of narrow streets and squares containing magnificent Baroque architecture are set behind the wide palm tree lined avenues.
For golfers, at the La Manga Golf Club you can play on 3x18 hole championship courses or visit the tennis centre for a game on one of the 28 tennis courts. Here you will find more than twenty 5 star restaurants, a casino, night clubs and much more.
We usually hire a car from the airport via economycarhire.com who have reasonable rates. Alternatively if you don't want to drive, you could take a short taxi ride to Santiago de la Ribera (approx. 10 euros), then take the ferry across the Mar Menor depending on your time of arrival / departure. I could not fault the property or the surrounding area at all. The apartment is in a great location, a short walk to the marina with various restaurants and bars and a small beach on the mar menor side which was just perfect for us - ideal for a family with small children. There was also a very good supermarket across the road. We felt the area to be very safe and relaxing - so much so that we have already booked to return next year !
Lovely apartment in a great location with excellent views! Aircom was a dream! Local contact was easy to contact and did everything he could to help us enjoy our trip. lots of good restaurants locally (turn left as you walk into the marina!) Having travelled along the strip (by bike, check the local tourist office) this is the best area of the strip, with a very good supermarket across the road. The area is quiet and relaxing, little nightlife but we did research this and it was expected. We didnt need a car but would recommend if you want to explore the local area.

Very clean. Shared pool was great-a small pool that was like a bath for really small children and larger pool was an equally great pool being a good temperature. Roof terrace was fantastic being very spacious and offering some shade as well as much sun. Fabulous supermarket opposite and lots of restaurants locally. Walking distance to ferry to take to San Javier which was an added bonus. No need really to rent a car!
Nice apartment with a view into the pool. Eeverything was clean and equipment working good. We also liked the top-floor with barbeque and shower very much.
The Apartment was excellent. It had everything and more that a family required for an enjoyable holiday - sunroof, barbecue, washing machine, DVD player and English news channels on satellite TV. When initially arriving further down La Manga strip we were disappointed with the planning and standard of some of the hotel developments but this could not be said of Frente Marino: low level apartments in a beautiful setting wit the bonus of the Tomas Maestre Marina on your doorstep. The resort is perfect for a relaxing break tor recharge the batteries but families with thenage children may think it a little on the quiet side.
We have already recommended 40 Frente Marino to a number of our friends!

There are 2 double sofa beds in the lounge for extra guests. Satellite TV is available with English channels (BBC, ITV etc.) There are a small selection of CD's and DVD's (including childrens DVD's) for you to play if required The very large, private roof terrace with built-in BBQ, dining furniture and sun-loungers make this an exceptional holiday apartment, there is even a shower for when you need to cool off quickly! It has excellent views over the Mediterranean and La Manga Strip.
