We had a wonderful stay at La Quinta. The villa is stunning with amazing sea, mountain and golf course views. It had pretty much everything you could need - hanging facility for clothes in the downstairs small back bedroom would be handy though. Despite other reviews saying there isn’t, there is a washing machine in the outbuilding. We enjoyed watching the planes fly over, people play golf, playing golf ourselves and floating around in the pool. Marcos was very helpful and answered any questions we had. A kettle for the annex would be appreciated as my parents had to share with the main house but other than this, we all had what we needed and loved all the space. Thank you.

We loved our stay! There wasn't much to dislike! Checking in was easy as Marco the owner answered straight away and advised us we can leave our bags until check in at 3pm. Also, Marco allowed us to stay on an extra couple of hours when we checked out which saved us from hanging around at the airport. The villa was clean and had everything we needed. The area was lovely and quiet and with the golf course at the back of the villa the view was stunning. I would have no hesitations in recommending this villa to anyone. There were 13 of us, 7 of which were children and it was plenty big enough.

Had a Great 10 Day stay at Vista Hermosa. The Villa is quite large and the photo's do not do it enough credit. The villa was Very Big and Clean and had everything that was needed. The pool and patio area pick the sun up for most of the day and the Barbeque was a bonus. The pool is quite big and my Grand Children used it every minute they could. ( Be aware the pool is approx. 5ft deep all over no shallow end ). It's located in a very quite area but it is at the top of a very steep hill. A walk down down to beach takes about 20 min. and taxi back up the hill 4 Euros. There are Restaurants and a shopping area 10 min. walk from the villa. We found better ones a little further away but we have stayed in the area before. (Turn Left just after Blue Hotel ). Ray the Key Holder is a Diamond, he dropped the keys off then went out looking for Daughter and Son who wandered off to get some drinks. He found them! He popped round the day before we left to make sure everything was ok and also picked us up the following day and took us to the Airport. 5 Stars to him We will be Going back there

About Tenerife

Villas in Tenerife

Tenerife boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and unique volcanic landscapes in the Canary Islands and, as the largest of the Canaries, it offers everything you could want for a relaxing holiday all year round. Rent one of our villas on Tenerife's south coast and enjoy stretches of white sand, water sports and nearby restaurants and bars. Tenerife's western coast is quieter and more traditional with dark sand beaches and glimpses of life in years gone by.

Tenerife isn't just about beaches and year-round sunshine; the landscape is unusual and captivating. Mount Teide, the volcano at the heart of the island, rises 3,718m above sea level and is the highest point in Spain. A trip to the top offers panoramic views and starkly contrasting scenery. Whether you want to relax and people watch on the beaches of Costa Adeje, hike across the iconic National Park, revel in the nightlife of Playa de las Americas or ride the waves at Siam Park, the weather in Tenerife is perfect to do so all year round! Search our villas in Tenerife for your perfect family holiday.

A beginner's guide to renting a villa in Tenerife

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and also the most visited. The centre of the island is dominated by the volcanic Mount Teide which is still active although the most recent eruption was over a hundred years ago in 1909. The lunar landscape is a striking contrast with the golden sandy beaches and fertile interior.

Tenerife is warm all year round. In the summer months of July and August highs are typically just under 30 degrees C whilst it rarely gets below 20 degrees C in December and January. You’re also unlikely to get rained on: even in winter you’re unlikely to get much more than 5 or 6 rainy days a month. Find out more about Tenerife's weather.

Most of Tenerife’s resorts are in the southern part of the island which is served by Tenerife South airport. The north tends to be calmer and quieter and, although it has its own airport Tenerife North, most flights arrive into Tenerife South.

South Tenerife

The two main holiday areas in South Tenerife are in Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos which is in AronaPlaya de las Americas is a lively tourist hotspot with plenty of bars and restaurants that open till the early hours of the morning. It’s a purpose built resort with a large sandy beach. This is probably not the place to come to for a quiet relaxing break!

Los Cristianos on the south west part of the island is more laid back and suitable for families and children. A former fishing village it still a working harbour at the centre of the town. There’s a long promenade with bars and restaurants that borders both of the main beaches, Playa de Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Vistas.

North Tenerife

The northern part of the island is gentler and more popular with tourists looking to escape the noise and bustle of the popular holiday hotspots. The main resort is Puerto de la Cruz but you’ll find charming towns and villages along the cost and inland.
