Very pleasant stay our only complaint is the pool wasnt clean when we arrived, the gardner visited on the week end & reported this back, the pool man visited on the monday when we were out, on that day it rained heavily but he returned on the wednesday & it was thoroughly cleaned, so although we were there for only one week we could only use the pool wednesday pm & thursday . Couple from Ashtead, United Kingdom January 2019

Enjoyed our stay in the villa which was very well situated for San Blas shops and restaurants. TV tends to be at the mercy of the internet which had a habit of disconnecting at a crucial moment. Limited hanging wardrobe space but fine for 2 of us, a family might struggle. Shower was good but lacked sophistication, had to be "turned" on or off and hence cold water at the end of a shower, it became a case of hiding behind the shower curtain. Overall we would stay again and as such recommend.

Family from Milnrow, United Kingdom January 2019

We visited this property end of Jan, a family party of 10 adults and six children. The villa was fantastic big enough for us not to get on top of each other. The views over the golf course and sea great (just watch out for straying golf balls) The villa is close to the golf reception and a ten minute walk into golf del sur.( a bit hilly) A small well stocked supermarket near by. The villa was clean, with lots of crockery, kitchen utensils and kitchen equipment. Another bonus plenty of hot water. The only disappointment was the pool, it was a great size but cold which meant the children could not use it. I do not think this would be a problem in the hotter months though. I would certainly recommend for a large party and would not hesitate to use it again. The men in the party also would recommend the golf and the bowls on golf del sur was fun.

Friends from Weymouth, United Kingdom January 2019

Once again this year La Quinta 245 has afforded us a very good base from which to explore - we are always finding new restaurants, cafes and walks to enjoy within the area. Again, we have really enjoyed the villa's sunny aspect and views and, of course, the lovely large pool. A very enjoyable 3 week stay.

About Tenerife

Villas in Tenerife

Tenerife boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and unique volcanic landscapes in the Canary Islands and, as the largest of the Canaries, it offers everything you could want for a relaxing holiday all year round. Rent one of our villas on Tenerife's south coast and enjoy stretches of white sand, water sports and nearby restaurants and bars. Tenerife's western coast is quieter and more traditional with dark sand beaches and glimpses of life in years gone by.

Tenerife isn't just about beaches and year-round sunshine; the landscape is unusual and captivating. Mount Teide, the volcano at the heart of the island, rises 3,718m above sea level and is the highest point in Spain. A trip to the top offers panoramic views and starkly contrasting scenery. Whether you want to relax and people watch on the beaches of Costa Adeje, hike across the iconic National Park, revel in the nightlife of Playa de las Americas or ride the waves at Siam Park, the weather in Tenerife is perfect to do so all year round! A beginner's guide to renting a villa in Tenerife

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and also the most visited. The centre of the island is dominated by the volcanic Mount Teide which is still active although the most recent eruption was over a hundred years ago in 1909. The lunar landscape is a striking contrast with the golden sandy beaches and fertile interior.

Tenerife is warm all year round. In the summer months of July and August highs are typically just under 30 degrees C whilst it rarely gets below 20 degrees C in December and January. You’re also unlikely to get rained on: even in winter you’re unlikely to get much more than 5 or 6 rainy days a month. Find out more about Tenerife's weather.

Most of Tenerife’s resorts are in the southern part of the island which is served by Tenerife South airport. The north tends to be calmer and quieter and, although it has its own airport Tenerife North, most flights arrive into Tenerife South.

South Tenerife

The two main holiday areas in South Tenerife are in Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos which is in AronaPlaya de las Americas is a lively tourist hotspot with plenty of bars and restaurants that open till the early hours of the morning. It’s a purpose built resort with a large sandy beach. This is probably not the place to come to for a quiet relaxing break!

Los Cristianos on the south west part of the island is more laid back and suitable for families and children. A former fishing village it still a working harbour at the centre of the town. There’s a long promenade with bars and restaurants that borders both of the main beaches, Playa de Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Vistas.

North Tenerife

The northern part of the island is gentler and more popular with tourists looking to escape the noise and bustle of the popular holiday hotspots. The main resort is Puerto de la Cruz but you’ll find charming towns and villages along the cost and inland.
