Rural Mallorca at its Best. Our spacious reasonably priced, 4 bed 3 bathroom apartment set in the heart of the Island an ideal location for exploring the island. Great for Golfer, cycling & walking

Sineu is ideal for discovering and exploring the real Mallorca. It is a quiet location but is a bustling village that comes alive in the evening. You won´t find nightclubs and discos but don´t be surprised to see the locals singing outside in the local bars and restaurants.
There is a great deal of choice in dinning out and the relaxing village atmosphere is great after a busy day exploring

Steeped in History
The Village is full of history and right on the earth of the Mallorca Island, the once capital of the Kingdom of Mallorca Sineu comes up as the perfect example of the rustic and small Mallorca villages. An interesting and ancient agricultural hilltop town boasting over 1000 years of history, with less than 3000 inhabitants and plenty of many ancient buildings. Sineu comprises 47,70 square metres up on hill in the centre of the Island.


The Local Cuisine
Those willing to try the authentic Mallorca dishes will found Sineu to be the perfect place, as it is plenty of "Cellers" (the typhical mallorcan restaurants) serving dishes as the traditional roast suckling pig (most known there as “lechona") or the lamb thigh (“paletilla de cordero"). A firm favourite is Sa Plaça, on the church square: ask for the "frito de marisco" (deliciuos), made of vegetables and seafood, a variation of the Mallorca typhical "frito".

Sineu is also really interesting for cultural strolls and gives well in place information to visitors so they can do it themselves with no need of a guide.

If you do come to Sineu during the warm season, sitting outside a bar and watch the time go by while you feel its peace and tranquillity is a must. And do not forget to try the "hierbas", the mallorcan liquor!.

This was our second stay at this property and again, we were not disappointed! The apartment is spacious, has everything you need and is clean as well as well maintained. The owner is very friendly, helpful and pro-active in communication. It is excellent value but a car is a must though!

If you want real the real Majorcan Majorca, this is the place for you. Really, really nice two florr apartment. Clean, tidy, well presented property with prompt and helpful contact from the owner. Not for the party crowd of Magaluf, but so, so much better for the small town feel of Sineu. The Wednesday market is unmissable and with good restaurants and a lovely swimming pool complex only five minutes walk away, what else could you want? Easy train access to Palma, takes about 40 minutes, only costs about three Euros, stops right in the centre of wonderful Palma . We would gladly go back again.

Positive:- Good size apartment with plenty of parking.
The apartment was in good condition.
Plenty of bathrooms.
We were allowed to enter the apartment at 10:00hrs as there were no previous guests.

Room for improvement:- The apartment was poorly prepared and presented by the key holder, in particular the kitchen and utensils were dirty, the seating in the lounge grubby and we had only 2 towels between 4 people.

There was a nice area round the pool although no sunbeds.

There is a balcony although no table and chairs.

the property is very big and clean.the area was lovley.locals very firendly and welcome.and if you like history and historical old places then this is the place for you.
there is a large market on a wednesday which is excellent for buying lots of local goods.you would need a car as it is in the middle of the island,which gives you the perfect hoilday as you can visit different parts of marjorca at your own lesiure.it only takes 25 minutes to get to any coastal area.
would difiniely recommend this lovely property and its surroundings.

Kate I stayed with my 2 children in July 2012 A great location fantastic pool in the village with Bar and internet and great big lawns to relax . The house has all you need to be really comfortable. The train is just up the road to go off and explore and the market on Wednesday is brilliant.

This is a great location for exploring the island The house is very clean and well equipped we enjoyed our stay here. The village has so many bars and restaurants we did not make it around half of them although we did try! Martin & Gail Port Talbot
