This elegant and spacious penthouse apartment is available for holiday rental. Selwo Hills is a private gated community with security and underground parking with lift access directly to the front door. There is every amenity for a perfect holiday.

Selwo Adventura, Europe's Largest Wildlife Park and the local beach are only a few minutes away.

This apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two terraces with commanding views. The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people.

Please note that there are two foldaway beds available should you wish to sleep up to 6.

The communal pool is set in quiet peaceful surroundings.

There is a comfortable and modern lounge which has been decorated to a high standard. There two leather sofas with soft throws and cushions, low level marble coffee table, 42" TV and a DVD player. There is marble flooring throughout the property.

In the dining area there is a solid marble dining table and four soft leather chairs.

There is a variety of contemporary yet subtle lighting with access to the main sun terrace.

The luxurious double master bedroom has an en-suite (with bidet, bath and separate shower), dressing area, fitted wardrobe and drawers, bedside cabinets and lamps with access to the main sun terrace.

The bright and airy twin bedroom has fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and lamps and flatscreen tv with Playstation 2 and dvd player. The adjacent large guest bathroom has a shower over the bath and a bidet.

There is a fully fitted kitchen including, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, blender, filter coffee maker, microwave, toaster, electronic darts board and even a Dolce Gusto coffee machine! The kitchen leads onto the laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, large storage cupboard and clothes airers.

There is a laptop for your use and internet access is available via a Vodaphone dongle.

All linen and towels are included (except beach towels). There is also a professional hairdryer.

Due to its elevated position the views on the terraces are panoramic. The main terrace overlooks the pool, tropical gardens and mountains and is accessed via the master bedroom and lounge. To the right you can see a glimpse of the sea sparkling in the sunshine. There is a large table which comfortably seats six people on fully reclining chairs.

For those of you that like to sit in the shade there is a large awning.

The terrace at the rear of the property also boasts lovely views of the tropical gardens of the neighbouring Selwo 1 development. This is a real sun trap in the afternoon and is an ideal place to sit and watch the sunset.

The pool is located in beautiful tropical gardens. Selwo Hills is a gated complex and is secure and private.

The Costa del Sol boasts a beautiful climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year.

From May to October the weather is predominantly hot and dry. In July & August the temperature rises to over 30C. From November to April the average is about 18/20C although can rise to around 25C on a good day. October to May are the most popular months for golf.

There is a beautiful blue flag beach only minutes away from our apartment. There are Chiringuitos (open-air restaurants that serve drinks, ice creams and good quality, reasonably priced food) which are dotted around on each beach. Many also have play areas for children.

Estepona is approximately 5 minutes by car from the apartment. It is an attractive town with a stunning blue-flag beach and promenade along with a child friendly beach at Playa De Cristo Bay. An evening jewellery and arts market is held throughout July and August and a street market held every Wednesday. The town has narrow, picture postcard streets with a good selection of shops, bars, banks and restaurants. The marina has a selection of good restaurants offering everything from traditional tapas and paella to Italian, Chinese and Indian.

San Pedro - Approx 4 miles (4 minutes) famous for its markets market.

Puerto Banus Marina is approximately 5 miles east and well renowned for its array of luxurious yachts and the multitude of celebrities who visit - make use of one the many excellent bars and restaurants and sit and watch the world go by - who knows who you could be sitting next to! This is also the closest shopping stop for those who want to splash out on the latest designer clothes. An amazing Saturday market around the bull-ring is well worth a visit. There is no better atmosphere that being in a Puerto Banus marina bar at night.

Marbella is approximately 7 miles east (10 minutes by car). Set against the stunning backdrop of the "La Concha" mountain, Old Marbella town including a square surrounded with cafes and bars is a must. Marbella also has long (28km) clean beaches and a promenade decorated with cafes, restaurants, and bars and great nightlife.

The Costa del Sol offers everything from mountain areas, winter skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains (only one and a half hours from Malaga), beautiful beaches, theme parks, a multitude of superb Golf courses and some superb towns from the chic and classy Puerto Banus to the historic and scenic old mountain town of Ronda.

Gibraltar is around 40 minutes drive. Here you can spend all your remaining British pounds in M&S, NEXT and Top Shop. Alternatively take a cable car to the top of the Rock and admire the impressive views of North Africa and meet the comical monkeys in their natural habitat (keep hold of your food and chocolate bars). There is also wide selections of boat trips into the bay where you will see the local dolphin population.

Puerto Duquessa is a great place to visit and offers a good range of restaurants and gives a real taste of traditional Spanish living.

Casares is amongst one of the most picturesque towns to visit. With its white sugar-cube houses huddled in the mountainside, here, you can enjoy some traditional Spanish cuisine.

Ronda (Oldest Bull Ring/incredible gorge) one of Andalucias loveliest towns, steeped in history. It stands on a towering plateau in the mountains of Malaga Province, and is famous through Spain for the plunging river gorge which divides the medieval from the 18th century parts of the town. This gorge is known as "El Tajo" - The Cliff and is spanned by a stone bridge, which once housed a prison. Visitors love to peer down into the gorge, to see the waters of the River Guadalevín.

Soto Grande - Approx 20 miles (28 minutes)

Benahavis (must see village famous for its restaurants) is situated between Marbella, Estepona and Ronda.
Reknown for its restaurants - they call it the dining room of the Costa del Sol - it is above all a picturesque place, where one can find 9 golf courses and incredible mountain views.

Mijas (white mountain village)- Approx 18 miles (25 minutes) The village of Mijas is perched high above
Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. Heavily wooded mountains surround the pueblo. Discover its narrow cobbled streets, stunning views & hospitality.

Golf
Golfers have a selection of approximately 9 excellent courses within 15 to 20 minutes drive from the apartment, providing a challenge to players at all levels. The closest golf course is about 1 mile from the apartment.

Selwo Adventura - Europe's Largest Wildlife Park
Selwo Adventura is located within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. This is a fantastic family day out offering you a chance to see over 2000 animals in their natural environment. You can be transported in Safari lorries through the countryside where you will see a multitude of animals including giraffes, zebras, rhinoceroses, elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, lions and tigers. A must visit - right on your doorstep, where a mountain range has been transformed into a natural and controlled habitat for thousands of animals.

Tivoli World theme park
Another favourite with families, the Tivoli World theme park, located in Arroyo de la Miel, is beautifully landscaped with gardens, fountains and walkways, and is one of the oldest parks on the Costa del Sol. Attractions include: the theatre, which seats 3,000 spectators and features children's shows, music and many international events; Andalucia Square, which offers free flamenco shows nightly and a bar and restaurant; and the Western Square, featuring everything Western, including western and comedy shows.

Selwo Marina
Selwo Marina, located in Benalmadena Costa, is another innovative project from the Selwo Parks Company combining a dophinarium, penguinarium, sea lion and parrot displays. There is also an imaginatively designed children's play area complete with underground slides, tunnels and caves, and of course a choice of shops and restaurants.

Sea Life Centre
The Sea Life Centre is one of Benalmadena’s finest attractions and a must-see for families with children. The centre is located next to the marina and features many tanks and tunnels with all manner of exotic creatures, such as stingrays and starfish. Many of the inhabitants can be observed very closely and patrons can even feed the fish. Many visitors head straight for the fascinating stingray tank, while the laboratory marino is great for kids and is home to many types of interesting creatures including starfish and hermit crabs.

Museo Arqueologico
The Archaeological Museum is Benalmadena’s finest museum, which displays a collection of Neolithic and pre-Columbian artefacts from around Andalusia. Many visitors come to the museum especially to see the beautiful marble floor that was recovered from a ship that went down just off the coast in the 1800s.

Parque Acuatico Mijas Water Park (Mijas Costa)
The Parque Acuatico Mijas (Mijas Water Park) is a popular Costa del Sol attraction conveniently located in the Mijas Costa area and just outside the town of Fuengirola. There are over 10 different water attractions for all the family to enjoy; including Kamikaze slides, twisting slides, rings, multi slide and more.

Also included in the entrance fee are a multitude of swimming pools, lazy river, wave machine, 18 hole mini golf, rock climbing wall, and an arcade. The park boasts a picnic area as well as a restaurant and bar.

An excellent penthouse apartment very clean, well presented and with everything available that you could possibly need. Stunning view from the terrace and in a superb location near to Marbella, Gibraltar and backed by sierras. There is plenty of interest for everyone. I can thoroughly recommend this place and I did not want to leave. Definitely be returning loved it.

Dear Jackie and Carl, We really enjoyed our holiday in Spain. We had brilliant weather - very hot that first week, just starting to break towards the end. Everything was excellent. Cant think of anything else you could provide. We made our way there and found the apartment first time - by luck I think rather than judgement! We took up your useful info on supermarket and local take away. I can recommend Seville - it was fantastic. Dont know if you have made your way to Antequera which is the other side of Malaga but nice castle and town worth a visit. In our opinion Jerez and Cadiz were nice to visit but not worth a special journey. Hopefully sometime in the future we can visit other regions. Many thanks once again. Jackie It is a pleasure to give you a positive recommendation on the apartment, it is in a beautiful well maintained condition and ranks among the best we have ever stayed in, the accommodation is perfect for a family or two couples and is equipped to a very high standard. My daughters (6 & 8yrs) appreciated the TV and DVD player in their room on the one day when it rained Sky TV in the lounge is also a bonus as Spanish TV can be a bit strange. My Sat Nav took us right to the front gate, though I had identified the block on Google maps first, the directions you supplied would also suffice, though the Pink Building as you exit the A7 is a little tricky to spot, the local area was easy to navigate and the El Gourmet take away was pleasant and welcoming. We explored the local area, and would highly recommend a drive through the mountains to Ronda on the A-377 then to Gaucin on the A-369 and then the A-377 back to Estepona, the scenery is stunning and well worth the 4-5 hours of anybodies time. We also visited Malaga and Gibraltar both has attractions which can keep the whole family busy for more than one day, we also visited Morocco via Ceuta and whilst it is an early start to the day it is well worth the visit. I will have no hesitation is recommending your apartment to family and friends and wish you the best of luck. PS. It was my birthday on 2nd January I plan to spend it in the sun from now on.... We found this property to be very clean, well stocked and furnished, nicely situated with lovely views from the two balconies. There was a lot of information left about the area, restaurants, and maps etc. It was also very quiet and peaceful. We would recommend it to anyone with great confidence.

Jackie, stunning apartment and great advice about where to eat and visit and the toll road helped made the drive perfect and easy. We took our 3 year old and worried he might struggle for things to do but the dvd player was heaven sent! we must have watched tom and jerry 50 times though... Meet a few couples who also own apartments who gave us some really nice beaches to visit as well. Really secure lovely and quiet area.easy access to lots of over places and estepona was great not to over crowded with english. Would recommend to any famiily and friends and we are considering booking again next year.

A beautiful luxury penthouse, clean and very well presented. I stayed there with my husband and 4 children, we had a wonderful holiday. The penthouse has lovely views and there is a weekly firework display from a hotel that we watched from the balcony . The Penthouse was ideal for us as it is away from all the noise and is lovely and peaceful. A car is recommended and there is lots to do, we went to a water park, Tivoli world adventure park, speed boat trip, Selwo adventure park and spent days at the beach all in easy reach. I would recommend this property and will be returning hopefully next year. The owners of the property were lovely and so very helpful.

Beautiful penthouse with lovely views . I would highly reccomend this as we had a fantastic time with our grandchildren who loved the pool, we hired a car recommended by the owners and spent several days out at various places of interest.
Very comfortable spacious apartment. Quiet and relaxing. Excellent local restaurant within walking distance. Looking forward to returning next year.
We want to take this opportunity to thank the owners for allowing us to stay in their property. This is the nicest apartment we have ever stayed in. We really miss eating breakfast on the balcony, the views are amazing. We will definitely visit again next year, hopefully for longer. However you do need a car.

My husband and I have two children. Our daughter is 19 and our son is 16 and we love spending time in Spain. We like the food, the weather and the friendly people. My husband restores cars and I am a Teaching Assistant in a local primary school. We regularly visit and maintain our apartment to ensure that everything is in perfect working order as we believe holidays are so important and when we hear that our guests have enjoyed their stay, well that makes us very happy.
