Beautiful 1 st floor fully equipped apartment. 5 - 10 minutes level walk to sandy beaches, short walk to bustling town of Calpe

The apartment is very well equipped with 2 bedrooms (plus a sofa bed in the lounge), 2 bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen and utility room, situated on the 1st floor, serviced by a lift.
The apartment is one of 48 situated in an exclusive gated development very close to Las Salinas.
There are two swimming pools situated in the communal gardens, one for adults and the other for children. The sandy beaches are a 5 minute level walk away, and the bustling town centre of Calpe a further 5 minutes.

Calpe is an old fishing harbour and its most prominent landmark is the rock 'Penon de Ifach' that looms 383 metres up out of the sea behind the fishing port. Here visitors will find everything to make the holiday unforgettable such as cosy restaurants, discotheques, a cinema, lovely beaches and promenades, excursions into the mountains, coach trips, yacht charter (e.g. to Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca). Sports facilities are to be found in Calpe itself and in the surroundings including tennis, riding, swimming, lido, boat hire, diving, fishing, wind surfing, parachuting, water skiing. Golf (9 holes) in Altea or San Jaime (8 km) and a yacht harbour in La Canuta. Because of its mild climate Calpe is very suitable for winter stays.

Costa Blanca
Calpe is the perfect base from which to enjoy this lovely part of the Costa Blanca. Apart from Calpe there are many places to visit along the coast including Moraira that has a marina and fishmarket, Javea that has a fine beach, a fishing harbour, restaurants and golf courses, Denia with some excellent shops on a beautiful tree lined main street, and of course Benidorm that boasts Aqualandia, Mundo Mar (Sea World) and now of course the new Disney style Terra Mitica theme park. Inland you will find the beautiful Jalon Valley and Bernia Mountain range plus caves, a safari park and waterfalls.

Просторная квартира на втором этаже, две удаленные друг от друга спальни, гостиная, два санузла, кухня, большая терраса с видом на бассейн. Над террасой хорошо бы повесить тент - днем там сидеть невозможно. Бассейн отличный, чистый, глубокий, можно даже нырять (что редко разрешается в общих бассейнах). Рядом всегда пустая частная парковка и подземный гараж, если вам не лень туда заезжать. Все бы было отлично, если бы не два "но". Первый - большой минус хозяевам - не чищенный давно кондиционер. Работает он отлично (централизованный), но пользоваться им совершенно невозможно - при его работе вонь стоит как в общественном туалете на вокзале советских времен. Пару ночей не могла спать, так как было безветрие, квартира не продувалась и стояла невыносимая духота. Но, в принципе, в обычные ночи продувки достаточно для комфортного сна, а мы были в самый жаркий период. На кухне есть все необходимое, кроме рабочего стола (места маловато). Много полотенец, постельного белья, есть шезлонги и зонтик. Второй минус относится не к хозяевам, а соседям - но это как вам повезет. В нашем случае было много шумных испанских детей и вечно орущих малышей... Ужас...Слава Богу, по ночам обычно тихо. От пляжа далековато, мы ездили на машине. Совсем рядом Лидл, хотя это самый паршивый магазин в городе. До Меркадоны только на машине. По дороге к Меркадоне есть еще один очень неплохой супермаркет, тоже пешком не особо... Да, и еще, хозяева оставили только один комплект ключей - очень неудобно для большой семьи... Агент Диане - очень приятная и приветливая женщина, быстро отвечает и всегда готова помочь. В общем и целом мы остались очень довольны.

Spacious apartment on the second floor, with two spacious bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms, kitchen, large terrace overlooking the pool. Swimming Pool excellent, clean, deep, you can dive even (rarely allowed in public pools). Near always empty private parking and underground garage, if you are too lazy to call in. Everything would be fine, if not two "but". The first - a big minus hosts - not shelled conditioner for a long time.
It works very well (centrally), but to use it is absolutely impossible - when the stench is like in a public toilet at the station of Soviet times. A couple of nights I could not sleep because there was no wind, the apartment is not purged, and was unbearable stuffiness. But, in principle, ordinary night purge enough for a comfortable sleep, and we were in the hottest period.
The kitchen has everything you need, except for the desktop (not enough space). Lots of towels, bed linen, there are sun loungers and parasols. Another minus does not apply to the owners and neighbors - but it's like you're lucky. In our case, it was a lot of noisy Spanish children and always screaming kids ... The horror ... Thank God, at night is usually quiet. From the beach far away, we went by car. Very near Lidl, although it is the lousy store in town. Until only Mercadona machine. On the way to the Mercadona there is another very good supermarket, is also on foot not really ... Oh, and the owners left only one set of keys - very inconvenient for large families ... Agent Diana - very nice and friendly woman, responds quickly and always ready to help. Overall we were very pleased.

My wife and I and our 8 years old Grandson stayed in Estrella de Calpe towards end May 2008 and found the apartment to be ideal (clean, well equipped, good size/location and facilities).

We arrived very late at night in Calpe and not knowing the area were worried we wouldn't be able to find the apartment but the bright blue colour shone out to light our way even in the dark.

The apartment was superb, everything seemed pristine and brand new. We had 2 tables to eat at, inside or outside. Every mod-con in the kitchen, and tv and dvd in the living room. Plenty of wardrobe space, air con, pool, fabulous underground parking but of course the best thing was the location. One side we could see the Rock of Ifach and the other was the sea.

We spent most days on the beaches - both wide and glorious sand and gentle seas or exploring the mountain villages and secluded beaches and evenings strolling the beach promenades and trying out new restaurants either beach front, marina or old town. We of course climbed the Rock of Ifach which is quite an experience.

A wonderful, easily accessible place that is still unspoilt and not too overcrowded.

We visited the apartment in Calpe between 13-27th August 2006. After a 45 minute drive from Alicante Airport we entered Calpe and made our way to the villa. On arrival we were extremely pleased with the location of the apartments only being a 10 minute stroll to the town and seafront. The villa is on the 1st floor with the balcony overlooking a well maintained and large pool. Inside the villa it is appointed to a high standard with very effective air conditioning throughout and after a hot day it was a pleasure to return to the villa. Calpe itself is a beautiful place and could be described as a hidden gem. The atmosphere is very family friendly and at the end of an evening it is a pleasure to walk along the seafront looking out to sea and the magnificent Calpe rock. Definitely recommend two restaurants on the seafront, the Oceanic and Los Alos both of which serve excellent food at a reasonable cost. The Oceanic in particular stands out as the quality is fantastic and service attentive. To sum up we had a fantastic holiday with A1 quality accommodation in a resort with beautiful beaches and lots to see and do.

My friends and I stayed for a week and very much enjoyed the luxury of this comfortable apartment. It was very good value for money being very secure, modern, spacious, having 2 bathrooms, large built in wardrobes and lots of little extras. The location is quiet and yet only 10-15 minutes walk from the busy town centre. We found a great German bakery 5 minutes walk away which had great chocolate croissants! I would recommend a stay here to anyone.
