Finca in good condition. Dishwasher not to use! Very bad for 6 people! House was superficially cleaned. Then I had to clean myself! Otherwise a Too location if you are looking for recreation.

I just spent 7 really nice days in this villa with my two 3.5 year old daughters and my wife was just great and relaxing. The villa has absolutely everything you need for a great stay, crockery, board games, books, air conditioning, barbecue, absolutely everything to welcome the guests, it goes to the condiments for the kitchen and pool accessories. .. Quiet location, no vis à vis and about 3 km from St-Josep one of the most beautiful cities we visited there, with all kinds of shops, bars, discotheques, restaurants, a port etc. If the opportunity arises, I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely villa in a great location with a stunning pool and beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea. The barbecue area was well used and made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were also of a high standard. We appreciated the fact that there were basic cupboard staples and Nespresso but it would have been useful to know this before as we stocked up on some unnecessary items on our way to the villa. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Romero II in Ibiza. Only issue that could have been made clearer was the distance from shops and towns, the cost for taxi travel and the difficulty in getting taxis to travel to the location. In the end it was not an issue as we shared driving duties however, if it had been possible to arrange taxi transport to towns for less than 40 Euros then it would have given us an extra travel option. We do know that it was clear on the advert that car hire was essential and that it was 3km to the nearest shop. The internet signal was poor but this was explained at check-in.

About Sant Josep de sa Talaia

Villas in San José (Sant Josep)

The rural fishing village of San José is set inland in Ibiza's tallest mountain Sa Talaia, just 15km away from the capital Eivissa. With 80km of surrounding coastline, it boasts some of the most beautiful coves and tranquil sun-bleached, sandy beaches in the Balearics; more than any other region in Ibiza!

The seafront is scattered with bars, restaurants and pine groves where you’ll find party people from every corner of the world gathering here in the height of summer. There are also plenty of atmospheric cafés and restaurants, as well as shopping boutiques selling colourful handmade jewellery, accessories and clothing.

Holidaymakers looking for a relaxing, low key stay will enjoy the many sheltered pebble and rock coves dotted around the coastline. For those looking to follow the livelier crowds, the east coast, specifically Playa d'en Bossa, really springs to life after sun down with many clubs staying open until six in the morning.

The ancient watchtower - Sa Talaiassa mountain in the centre of the municipality - soars to almost 500m; the highest peak in the whole of Ibiza. Each year it attracts mountain bikers, cyclists and climbers from across the globe. For holidaymakers looking for an action-packed stay, hiking might be one of the most rewarding activities on the island. Satisfaction of reaching the top of Sa Talaiassa on foot is a once in a lifetime experience.

For families a visit to some of the local historical sites and nature reserves can be a fun and educational way to spend the afternoon. The region is dotted with Medieval churches and archaeological wonders such as the Phoenician village of Sa Caleta; a UNESCO World Heritage site. There are also several riding schools in the area.

Our Clickstay rentals in San José cater to everyone from family-friendly villas to peaceful waterfront and beach villas with private pools.

A beginner's guide to renting a villa in San José

San José stretches over the southern part of Ibiza. The international airport is set on the east coast, approximately 10 minutes away by car. Surrounded by a palm grove coastline, San Jose boasts 6 of the 15 Ibizan Blue Flag beaches, with water sport activities for the whole family.

This vast region offers many secluded spots to get away from the buzz of neighbouring San Antonio, and maybe enjoy a romantic evening in one of the quiet bars or charming restaurants which can be found sprinkled along the seafront. Other restaurants like Cova Santa which is 2km northwest from the airport, can be found inland. The region is not all-out quiet though. Some beach bars turn into nightclubs after sundown, where partygoers can enjoy local cocktails and a livelier atmosphere. Still, San José's nightlife is fairly tame compared to San Antonio or Eivissa.

While some larger beaches and coves are bustling with people partying, the inner region tends to stay quiet. However, there are many family-friendly beaches and coves where you can enjoy the greenery of Mediterranean pines and crystal clear waters. Renting a villa in the rural part of the island will shelter you from Ibiza's energetic nightlife, but if you're looking to follow the livelier crowds then renting a property closer to the coast may put you right in the heart of the party scene.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find that Ibiza's rustic surroundings have a distinct smell of the sea mingling with pine wood; a beautiful and fresh scent that can be found all along the coast. Ancient towers adorn the coastline of Ibiza, while the south unveils several historical sites to see, like the Sa Caleta and the machine-gun nests left from the Spanish Civil War in 1936.

Whether you are looking for a quiet vacation or a party-driven holiday, San José and Clickstay can offer villas for everyone that cater to every need!
