Apartment overview - owner's description

The apartment is in Marina de la Duquesa. The development is situated directly on the beach and is next door to the marina. La Duquesa golf course is across the road, with the clubhouse a mere 10 minute walk away.

Marina de la Duquesa is a luxury development and boasts excellent facilities including 4 swimming pools - one heated throughout the summer months, a gym, sauna, sharing library, paddle tennis courts and large gardens.
An underground parking space is also provided and the development is protected by manned security, 24 hours a day.

The apartment is furnished to a high standard and is now available.

The apartment itself consists of:

Bedroom 1 furnished with a double or twin beds, large fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and stereo

Main bathroom

Bedroom 2 furnished with twin beds, again with fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and an iPod docking station / alarm clock

2nd bathroom (shower cubicle)

Fully fitted kitchen (fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker etc.)

Living/dining room with comfortable seating area, dining area, 40" flat screen satellite TV, DVD player with many films, hi-fi and iPod docking station.

Puerto Duquesa
La Duquesa is situated on the coast midway between Gibraltar and Marbella. Since the opening of the new motorway between Malaga and Estepona the journey time from Malaga airport is only 55 minutes.

The town boasts an excellent marina, beaches, shops & restaurants. As well as it's own championship golf course, over 30 golf courses are within 45 minutes drive. Gibraltar and Marbella are both only a 25 minute drive away.

La Duquesa

La Duquesa is the Costa del Sol's best-kept secret. Although only 55 minutes from the airport of Malaga and 25 minutes from Gibraltar airport it feels a world away from the throngs of the package holiday resorts.

Among its many attractions are a marina filled with bars, restaurants and shops, miles of beautiful, quiet beaches, a fantastic 18-hole golf course all surrounded by rugged mountains in which can be found the famed white villages. Three hours away winter and spring ski-ing can be found in Granada.

Found to the west of Marbella, La Duquesa is a superb location often referred to as ?the Other Costa del Sol". The area shares the excellent climate, infrastructure and services as that of the rest of the Costa del Sol but maintains a vast amount of unspoilt natural scenery and authentic local character.

Only twenty five minutes away the "jet-set" city of Marbella can be found, with its hustle and bustle where shopping, eating and drinking experiences of every kind are available. Before you reach Marbella you will find the international resort of Puerto Banus with its millionaire playground of floating palaces and luxury cars. In addition to the yachts, the port is full of designer shops, beautiful restaurants and bars.

The port

Only 10 minutes from Estepona, the lovely Puerto Deportivo La Duquesa offers full marina services for boating enthusiasts as well as a myriad of attractions for those with no aspirations to take to the water. There are attractive promenades encircling the port offering many bars and a vast choice of restaurants offering French, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Thai cuisine.

In the port there are plenty of shops and boutiques to support the needs of the sailing community plus local residents and visitors. It also houses a business centre offering business and Internet facilities.

Duquesa Marina is very pretty and charming and one of its attractions is that it is more peaceful than other marinas on the Costa.

I can’t fault the accommodation. It is comfortable and in a good location. Complex is clean and tidy, walking distance to beach, marina, restaurants etc, so appeals to all age groups. Apartment is well appointed and has everything you need. Local Agent also very helpful.
