This simple and comfortable cottage with pool is surrounded by olive groves in the natural park of the Sierras Subbéticas. The location is ideal to get to know the beautiful inland of Andalusia with its picturesque villages, historic towns and contrasting natural landscapes.
The private, fenced property, from which you have beautiful views of the hills and olive groves, is undisturbed in the midst of nature and has a fabulous pool with Jacuzzi, a sun terrace with sun loungers, and next to it a barbecue area. In front of the house there is another terrace with garden furniture, where you can enjoy relaxing outdoor meals with your loved ones. The interior is modern and functionally furnished. The cottage, which is self-sufficient in solar energy by means of its own solar panels, among other things, has a large, cozy dining and living area with fireplace, an open, well-equipped kitchen, as well as two bedrooms with two single beds each, and a bathroom with shower. The house is heated by a radiator that runs on pellets. The first bag of pellets is free of charge, all others cost extra.
This vacation home is located not far from the villages of Rute and Lucena, where you can find all kinds of services, stores and restaurants. Rute is known for its carnival and Christmas pastries; Lucena for its furniture making, olive products and as the 'Pearl of Sefarad' for its Sephardic-Jewish past. Only 8 km from the house is the reservoir of Iznájar, where you can practice various water sports; and 59 km away is the city of Antequera, with dolmens, Moorish castle complex and many Catholic convents and churches. To Córdoba, where the important and beautiful Mezquita is located, it is 78 km; to Granada, with the unique and world famous Alhambra, it is 115 km. The day trips to these three cities are definitely worthwhile and will give you unforgettable insights into Andalusian history and culture.
