Our much-loved ground floor apartment has a high standard of furnishings and equipment for a comfortable self-catering holiday.

Because our apartment is on a corner, the bedroom, lounge and kitchen all face out from the building. Our apartment is one of a superior few at Las Brisas that don't suffer from having rooms with windows facing into a stuffy, dark and dingy central well. Believe me, you'll appreciate the value of this when you arrive !

Our extra-large lounge has two comfortable large sofas, televisión, DVD player, a portable electric fan, electric wall heaters and a dining area with sliding glass doors leading onto the terrace.

We have included sun loungers so you can relax in comfort by the enormous pool.

The kitchen has a ceramic hob, extractor, granite worktops, full size oven, large fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle and a toaster.

The bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe, ceiling fan and Wall mounted heaters for out of season holidays.

The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower attachment and a glazed shower panel.

There is lift access to all levels, including the underground garage and the communal solarium.

The apartment faces out from the complex, (not poolside) so it avoids noise disturbance coming up from the pool.

There is on street parking in front of the apartment or we can reserve you a space in the underground car park.

We provide towels for use in the apartment and can provide older towels for outdoor use (towels for outdoor use must be requested in advance of your stay).

The apartment receives UK freeview tv channels via satellite but, as with every property in southern Spain, the satellite coverage for UK tv could be terminated at any time.

Puerto de Mazarron .....

The Costa Calida is one of Spain´s best places to holiday, having a gentle warm winter and long hot summer days.

A holiday in Puerto de Mazarron suits couples and families looking for a traditional Spanish seaside holiday with a choice of busy beaches or deserted coves, away from package holiday crowds and with plenty to do both day and night.

Puerto has great diving, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing and fishing. The beaches and small bays slope gently into crystal clear waters. Beach-side villages and miles of countryside surround the 32 km bay of Mazarron.

The coastal areas of Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarron boast some of the finest beaches in Spain and the untouched nature of the coastline and countryside appeals to those who seek a tranquil environment for their holidays.

Puerto de Mazarron is a popular resort for Spanish families and in the peak season (July and August) the population swells to capacity. At other times of the year it can be very quiet which makes Puerto ideal for that quiet "get away from it all" style holiday.

The area is ideal for walking holidays, with a variety of marked walks to suit all abilities.

Puerto has an attractive new marina, a variety of restaurants, tapas bars, evening entertainment bars, cultural activities including an open air summer cinema, indoor and outdoor sports facilities including ten pin bowling, sports hall, kart track, an uncovered Roman salt factory museum and a Phonecian boat information centre.

Puerto is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. The clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the enthusiast some highly interesting dives.

The council regularly provides free beach concerts and has theme beaches with facilities for different ages with a variety of free sports and relaxation facilities - even designated nudist beaches.

In summer, Puerto de Mazarron has a couple of night clubs and two open-air out of town summer clubs which start very late and continue until sunrise.

Out & About .....

Camposol golf course is about 10 minutes by car, with La Manga only 40 minutes away.

Cartagena, a historic city with beautiful architecture, a pedestrianized upmarket shopping area, a variety of museums, newly opened (unearthed) Roman amphitheatre and a large port with a seafront paseo, is 30 minutes away by car.

The ancient city of Murcia is the capital of the region. It is easy to get to by train or road and has a historical centre with a cathedral, casino, churches and lots of interesting architecture, cafes, taps bars and some quality restaurants.

Whilst in the area, a visit to the beautiful Sierra Espuña National Park, to the north of Mazarron, through Totana or Alhama is a must. The drive and views are spectacular. On the journey and in the park there are local Spanish bars and restaurants serving good quality, reasonably priced food, or you can take your own food to cook on the outdoor barbecues in the designated picnic areas. The park has a visitor centre and signposted walks with amazing views.

The accomodation was very good value for money. It suited two people well, and over the two months, we found it suited our needs very well. The complex was also impressive with well maintained facilities such as the pool, it also felt very safe, especially at night. It was in a good location, but would be best suited for people who had access to a car, but if not, you wouldnt have many problems. The town is small and easily accesable and this place would suit anyone who really wants to get away from the city. Although a word of warning, this place has the worst bed ever!!!

We endeavour to maintain the apartment and furninshings to a high standard, so have replaced the bed, (though we had always slept well in the previous bed which was only two years old).

We had previouly stayed in the owners Camposol villa, so when they sent us a mailshot for their new apartments in Puerto, we were keen to return to a tried and tested service. As returning customers, Hazel and Richard certainly went out of their way to welcome us back and gave us a free upgrade to their 2 bedroom apartment, which made us feel appreciated. It seems that the owners enjoy buying properties with a view, which once again meant we needed a car as these apartmnents are at the top of a hill in Puerto, with the benefit of a much appreciated cooling breeze (Las Brisas is a very apt name). Once again, the property was superbly equipped, exceeding, in our opinion, the Camposol property. We didn´t get round to using the pool, so I cannot report on that. Puerto de Mazarron is a wonderful find, a true bit of Spain, whereas we found Camposol to be a predominantly British urbanisation.

The apartment was top notch, the best we have holidayed in and a million times better than any package tour apartment. I recommend this apartment and the service we received as excellent.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in the flat and came home revitalised. Most of our time was spent lazing on the balcony in the sun, reading (the choice of books supplied was a nice touch), eating, drinking and enjoying the great sea and mountain views. I definitely recommend the flat for its standard of equipment, presentation and cleanliness. We enjoyed the apartment being uphill - that´s what gives it the fantastic sea and mountain views, though older people would want a car, if only for going up and down to the nearby shopping centre.

Spacious, well presented apartment in a very well maintained modern complex. Pool was enormous and kept clean and maintained daily though we didn´t venture in. Safe gated complex with keys and entry buzzers. We appreciated the info pack which saved us time getting orientated at the start of our break.

I have been coming to Spain for my holidays for the last 27 years. This is the first time I have found thet the description of the property I booked has understated its qualities rather that exaggerating them. I will be back next year and recommend Las Brisas as the place to stay in Puerto de Mazarron. Thanks to the owners for making the apartment a great place to stay.

I booked the apartment for a weeks holiday, just to get away from the wind and the rain here in the UK. It was my first trip to this part of Spain but it will not be my last. I found the apartment was just what I wanted, clean, airy, well equipped and most of all comfortable. As this was my first trip to the area, I used the assisted arrival service Villa Care offer and it was a great help. The owner was waiting at the apartment to meet me, having phoned them from the airport, gave me the keys, recommended places to go and showed me how the appliances worked. Thanks again for a great holiday

We recently stayed in this new apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The apartment was comfortable and spacious with good facilities. The complex was well maintained and the enormous pool was fantastic and never overcrowded. We certainly recommend the location and especially enjoyed our evenings on the terrace watching the sunsets and seaviews. I have to say the Sky TV and radio channels and were also appreciated.
