The local area
Casa Pamela is in a quiet residential area. A short walk around the corner of the street is a well-stocked supermarket, car hire office, small Canarian cafe/bar, bus stop for local resort service and a taxi rank. A taxi to the centre of Playa Blanca is around 4 euro. A two minute stroll along the wide palm-lined avenue takes you past a small Canarian park to the four-star deluxe Iberostar hotel, with bars, internet access, and tennis. The Wellness Spa has 2 Saunas, 2 Steam baths and 2 jacuzzis where you can relax all day if you wish. The massage suite offers a selection of treatments. Just one minute from here is the "Paseo Maritimo". This delightful seafront promenade leads East: to the natural unspoilt bays of the Papagayo beaches (25 mins walk) and West: to the Marina Rubicon (10 - 15 mins) with its elegant restaurants, bars, art galleries, designer stores, sailing, scuba facilities, bank and a twice-weekly arts and crafts market. Also at the Marina is the Rubimar Centre with entertainment, shops, a variety of restaurants (english, chinese, etc), ten pin bowling, internet cafe, hairdressers, amusements and other activities. If you like shopping, boating, swimming, or just relaxing and watching life go by with a glass of vino and a plate of tapas, this is the place for you! A 10 minute seafront walk brings you past 9-hole Pitch and Putt golf to the clean soft sand of Playa Dorada beach with safe swimming, watersports, sunbeds, parasailing, jetskis, pedalos and the Papagayo Centre with cycle hire, scuba, snorkeling, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. A 5 minute stroll and you are in Playa Blanca which has a chemist, a doctor, DVD hire, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, buses and taxis - and a port where you can take a ferry to the nearest island - Fuerteventura.
Lanzarote - La Isla Bonita - the beautiful island
La Isla Bonita - the beautiful island - is filled with places to visit, activities to enjoy and plenty of beautiful vistas to just "kick-back" and let the stress ease away! Exhilarating activities: paragliding, motorcycling, windsurfing, scuba diving, karting, horse riding, golf, tennis, offroad trekking, camel riding, submarine diving, sailing, jetskis. Entertainment: bars, theme shows, concerts, live music, barbeques, fiestas. Chillout time: restaurants, walks, quiet parks, astounding volcanic landscape tours, swimming, spectacular floral and cactii gardens, fine dining, unspoilt scenery... and much more. We fell in love with La Isla Bonita five years ago on a brief weekend trip. We came back again and again on several two-week holidays and eventually decided to buy a villa to make our home here. Now we have bought the villa and are looking forward to spending more time here. But, for a little while, before we finally settle here permanently, Casa Pamela is yours to enjoy - and the beautiful island awaits. We hope you will enjoy it too!
I am very disappointed by Mr Hutchinson makeing a claim for £275 it only needs replacement glass nothing else was up with the table itself only glass damaged and a table that was well worn the umberella was loose and not tightened as the locking device was solid with rust and was not fastened to the base weight it was wrong umberella for the table this was an accident caused by high winds on that day it could have happened at anytime when we came back and found the table smashed the couple that was staying next door told us the wind lifted the umberella and smashed the table i immediatley phoned your office to report this matter on the 15th October at 15-27 duration on phone 39seconds and also took a photo to show the umberella had opened and lifted which should show in your picture also the winds were very strong on Tuesday 15th October if Mr Hutchinson treats all clients like this because of strong winds then no way would i ever recommend anyone staying there.P.S. was told only table top wanted replaceing not the entire patio set
Many thanks Mrs Pamela Kershaw

Spent 2 weeks in the villa, it was very comfortable and met all our expectations. The facilities were mostly very good. Shopping and access to Marina and Playa Blanca were excellent. Local supermarket, just 2 mins away was very well stocked. The pool was wonderful to cool down on very hot days and the terrace and balcony very well used and comfortable. one or two minor problems with patio doors and various locks and handles but this is nit picking after such a lovely holiday. would recommend.

We found the property very relaxing and peaceful which was exactly what we needed. The walk down to the marina took a bit longer than 10 mins. but was very pleasant especially in the evening. Car rental is not necessary as trips can be booked at the marina. The pool is just right to cool off. The supermarket around the corner is open 8am until 10pm and sells everything you will need. The villa was great with a very good location. Lanzarote was a great experience wand would recommend it to everyone.
