Far from the busy costas, yet just a short drive inland this villa gives you the opportunity to sample the real Spain in a stunning mountain setting.
The house and winery have been beautifully renovated to provide fantastic accommodation for the larger groups (3000 sq ft). The winery has been converted into a fabulous kitchen, dining and relaxing area, complete with original wine press.
The house is set in a wonderful valley in the wine producing region of Jumilla, close to the towns of Pinoso and Jumilla. There is plenty to do if you do not fancy lying by the pool all day, horseriding, bike hire, quod biking are all available locally and plenty of mountain walks for the more energetic of the group.
The villa is set in 6 acres of private gated grounds so offers total seclusion and is yet just a short 7 minute drive to the local towns and markets with every facility.
The 6 acres are planted with almond, fig and olive trees so the local farmer will pop by occasionally to tend to the trees.
The nearest neighbour is about 400 metres away and occasionally passes the grounds with his herd of goats, you will hear the bells!
This 3000 sq foot house has lots of space to spread out and relax, there are 4 sofas, 3 rocking chairs and lots of occasional chairs.
We do not expect you to sleep in bunks, sofabeds or foldaways, all our beds are real! We do have a cot and high chair for the little ones.
Outdoors is well equipped with sun loungers, outdoor chairs, large dining table to seat 10, other smaller tables, balcony off master bedroom with table and chairs and lovely pagoda for shade.
The nearest towns are 10 minutes drive from the house and have banks, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Market day is great and its very cheap and easy to stock up for the BBQ from the amazing food stalls. You will get to see the real Spain and the Spanish way of life, and watch the streets clear for siesta at 2pm! These are not touristy towns and if you fancy the bigger shops pop to Alicante or Murcia for the day.
Fantastic rural villa, large pool with stunning mountain views, the perfect getaway for families sharing or for large groups of friends who want a group holiday

Stayed here in June this year, and found it superbly relaxing.
The house is as described, very large, extremely well equipped and an ecletic space. Its a million miles from the cookie-cutter apartments that spoil many a good location. The pool is superbly located, with a great view down the valley. Feels like one of those infinity pools, but without the price tag!
We were a large group, of adults, and managed a split between eating in and spoiling ourselves with some of the nearby restaurants. I could not beleive the value, and quality of the offerings. If youre a foodie, this is the place to come. And I would hazard a guess that the owners fall into that category as they have left great notes and recommendations on location places to eat, to suit all budgets. My favourite is Barrahonda - but you should try not to be the designated driver that day.
Would definitely recommend it, and plan on returning myself.
"A beautiful home from home in the sun.”
The best thing about Casa Beatha is the feeling that you are just staying in a friends house, everything is included, and it is the little things like having access to kids games, dvds, cds and pool toys, and even having so many towels provided, that made it such a pleasurable stay. The space in the house is fantastic and I loved the original features, use of old wine barrels and the paintings.
The grounds are lovely, very private and well kept. Great having a long washing line when you have 4 kids!! The kids would say the pool was the best thing, it is a good size and we were impressed that John and Annette cleaned it twice a week.
The scenery was amazing, loved the way the mountains changed colour depending on the position of the sun. Loved being away from it all but close enough to Jumilla / Pinosa for everything you need. We loved the tapas in Oasis and went several times!! Also enjoyed the markets, especially Pinoso. We spent a day in Alicante at the marina which was lovely, and also a day in Murcia is a worthwhile trip – scarey 5 lane roundabouts though!!! The kids loved the wildlife – geckos, praying mantis. crickets etc.
"A great family holiday.”
This is the real Spain and a wonderful holiday for the whole family. The villa is very comfortable, spacious, relaxing and most importantly clean on arrival. They provide towels so not having to pack a seperate suitcase with towels was an huge bonus.
There is lots of space for the children to run around and they really enjoyed the pool. We did venture out a few days - a trip to the beaches in Alicante was very easy and a shopping and cultural trip to Murcia which had something for everyone.
You do have to drive everywhere as there are no shops or restaurants in walking distance. So we stocked up in the supermarket and enjoyed family meals together. We did go to a lovely tapas bar in Pinoso called Oasis which was very child friendly and had excellent tapas. All in all a great family holiday!
