Apartment overview - owner's description

This high-quality finished apartment (build in 2012 by Taylor Wimpey) is part of a small, quietly located complex of 15 apartments in the urbanization "La Floresta de la Mairena". The urbanization is part of a UNESCO protected nature reserve in the hills above Marbella-Elviria. The complex is a 40 minutes drive away from Malaga Airport and about 10 minutes from Elviria Beach where you can find nice restaurants and the world famous beach bar Nikki Beach. It offers great views over the coast and the Mediterranean Sea.

The tastefully furnished apartment consists of:

A living room with seating and dining area. The seating area includes a flat screen TV and DVD player with DVDs.
A fully equipped luxury open kitchen with (built-in) appliances including a ceramic hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle and so on. There is plenty of kitchenware available.
A utility room with washing machine, ironing board, laundry rack, safe, badminton rackets and other things for a sporty relaxation.
A spacious master bedroom with a luxurious 180x200 boxspring king size bed, fitted wardrobes, a bathroom en suite with bath and toilet and patio doors to the terrace and the garden.
A second bedroom with two single beds (90x200) and fitted wardrobes.
A complete second bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin with mirror.

At the rear of the apartment, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the UNESCO protected nature reserve, there is a 35m² terrace with dining area and a luxury lounge set. Here you can start your day with a delicious breakfast and a breathtaking beautiful sunrise, while you can enjoy al fresco dining in the evening and reflect the sunshine on the waters of the Mediterranean.
From the garden you can walk to the gated swimming pool, which is 15 meters away. In the garden surrounding the swimming pool are sun beds, tables, umbrellas, outdoor showers and toilets.

Unlimited free use of all facilities at the nearby El Soto club. This includes a beautiful 9 hole par 3 golf course with putting green, tennis and paddle court, well-equipped gym, sauna, spa and jacuzzi. The club has a beautifully located clubhouse with a highly appreciated restaurant. The terrace offers beautiful views of the course and the coast. Regular theme evenings and weekly Sunday carveries are organized at the clubhouse. The restaurant offers a regularly changing lunch and menu.

Golfers who are looking for more challenge can play on one of the many nearby 18-holes courses like La Cala Golf Resort (three 18-hole championship courses) and Santa Maria Golf Club. Other nearby courses are Rio Real, Santa Clara, Alhaurin, Cabopino, Santana and El Chapparal.

This part of Spain offers many beautiful beaches where you can relax. The beaches gently stlope into the sea making it ideal for swimming. On most beaches lifeguards are present. Almost all beaches have beach bars and restaurants serving delicious seafood and regional specialties until late in the evening.

About ten minutes drive from the village of Elviria is Marbella, the cosmopolitan port city of southern Spain. Walking along the piers in the port of Puerto Banus you will come accross the most beautiful and most expensive yachts in the world. Enjoy a drink at one of the cafes in the Muelle de Galera and watch the rich and famous passing by in their Porches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Rolls Royces.

Marbella is a delight if you like shopping. From exclusive shops and boutiques in Puerto Banus to the hidden and unique shops in the historic center of the old town. There are also several large indoor shopping centers and department stores like El Corte Ingles.

The famous market (Saturdays from 09.00 to 14.00) of Nueva Andalucia, near Puerto Banus, is very popular and attracts many visitors. It is one of the largest markets in the area and we recommend this market especially if you are looking for clothing, music and accessories at competitive prices. You will also find a variety of second-hand goods. The market is located near the Bullring of Nueva Andalucía.

Marbella offers along the beautiful promenade and the streets behind a variety of restaurants where you can have great food. One that is not to be missed is Lekune where you can enjoy pintxos, small snacks served around the tables and where you pay based on the number of sticks you used.

If you need a great city break or want to stroll through beautiful Andalusian villages: Malaga with its authentic center and beautiful villages such as Mijas pueblo, Ronda and Casares are within easy reach. A little further away but still easily accessible is Seville, a beautiful city that will capture your heart quickly. For those for whom this is not enough, they can indulge in a trip to nearby Gibraltar (bring your passport!).

And then there is Tarifa, around 75 minutes drive away. World famous because of the creme de la creme kite beaches and base for whale watch trips and departure point for day trips to Tangier in Morocco.

About an hour's drive away there's Nerja with its famous Balcon de Europa, pleasant shopping streets, delicious ice cream shops, the famous caves and the beautiful beach with the widely acclaimed restaurant Ayo. Highly recommended! Near Nerja the picturesque village Frigliana is worth to visit.

Toen wij aankwamen waren wij verrast door de schitterende ligging en het prachtige uitzicht van het appartement, nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Het appartement is praktisch nieuw en gelegen op een rustige complex. Van de tuin en het ruime terras hebben wij genoten. Het appartement is een luxe, het heeft ruime slaapkamers met heerlijke boxspring bedden, goed slapen is dan ook geen probleem. Een ruime uitgeruste keuken, heerlijk. Tot onze verrassing konden wij Fox Sports ontvangen (dit voor de liefhebbers). De eigenaar Dhr. Beerens is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom het appartement is zeker een aanrader om je vakantie door te brengen. Ook wij hopen in de toekomst nog eens terug te komen. Dinie en Henk van der

Het is een heerlijk appartement. Het ligt in de bergen en daardoor prachtig uitzicht over zee. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, erg netjes, schoon en vrij nieuw. De buitenruimte beschikt over een fijne zithoek en eettafel. Je hebt veel privacy.

Een huis waar alles klopt; de sfeer zodra je binnenkomt is er een die je een gevoel van thuis geeft. Van alle gemakken voorzien, goede bedden (erg belangrijk), moderne badkamers, goed uitgeruste keuken, een heerlijk terras met eettafel en loungeset, beveiligde omgeving en eigen vaste parkeerplaats. Kortom, het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken en we hebben een fijne week gehad. De eigenaar is bereid met alles te helpen, indien nodig, en is eigenlijk altijd te bereiken. Het geheel maakt dat deze woning echt een aanrader is

Het is een heerlijk groot appartement voorzien van een grote loungehoek zowel binnen als buiten en een lekkere tuin waar je prima kunt voetballen, spelen etc. Zwembad is niet heel groot maar prima (zeker voor kinderen t/m circa 8 jaar) en rondom voorzien van een hek. Het complex ligt een stukje rijden de bergen in. Wij vonden het wel jammer dat er geen winkel (bijv voor verse broodjes) in de directe nabijheid was. Binnen een half uur zit je op een lekker zandstrandje. Het dorpje Mijas is zeker een aanrader om te bezoeken.

Me and my family stayed here for 10 days and we was nothing but impressed. The condition of the apartment is amaculate, very well kept and to a high standard. Really nice location, just 12 minutes drive from the beach with beautiful views. Will definitely book again as exceeded our expectations,like going from to home. Very easy to book and good instructions upon arrival for key pick etc.

Schoon, hygiënisch , rustig gelegen met zwembad vlakbij (12 meter). Mooie golf course en dito clubhuis met allerlei faciliteiten (tennis, golf, padel, restaurant en fitness!). Kortom ; super relaxt, hebben genoten!

Eind vorig jaar hebben wij dit appartement toevallig tijdens het googelen gevonden. Het zag er op de site luxe en mooi uit. Contact gezocht met de eigenaar of het mogelijk was om het appartement voor een bepaalde tijd te huren, dat was mogelijk alles werd voorspoedig en naar onze wensen geregeld . Mooie bijkomstigheid was de vrije toegang tot een shortgolfbaan, gym en Spa. Bij onze aankomst overtrof de inrichting en plaats onze verwachtingen luxe en prachtig ingericht. Keuken volledig ingericht inclusief Nespresso, afwasmachine, oven en magnetron prachtig serviesgoed.2 slaap- en badkamers en prima bedden woorden schieten tekort. Ook de tuin en loungeset en zwembad waren heerlijk. We hebben echt genoten ook hebben we veel gebruik gemaakt van de sport mogelijkheden op het nabij gelegen El Soto. Golf gym en een lekker glas wijn op het terras. Ook was de keuken van het restaurant uitstekend. Alles was perfect ook het weer. Mede dankzij de duidelijke gebruiksaanwijzingen van de eigenaar (Gerard) hebben we volop kunnen genieten. Voor een luxe en sportieve heerlijke vakantie zeker een aanrader.

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans l'appartement avec notre fils de 4 ans. Tout s'est déroulé comme prévu, la caution a été remboursée très vite après notre retour. Nous avons bien apprécié l'appartement, où nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Nous avons pu bien cuisiner, bien dormir, avons pu utilisé la piscine (fin Avril) et profiter d'un très bon internet. Lieu, appartement et hôte à recommander.
