Comfortable modern two bedroom apartment situated close to Puerto Banus and Marbella.
This superb first floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment is situated on the popular La Maestranza urbanisation. The property is furnished and decorated to a very good standard. As you enter the apartment, there is a fully fitted kitchen, complete with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and ample storage cupboards with cooking and dining utensils. The washing machine and drying area are in the attached utility room. The comfortable lounge/dining area is complete with two sofas (each being a single sofa bed), satellite television, mini hi-fi, DVD and dining table and chairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a full bathroom en suite. The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and en suite bathroom. You can relax on the terrace complete with furniture and with a stunning view to the mountains. The delightful pool areas - one large pool, one heated pool (winter months) and a splash pool for children - are surrounded by very pretty gardens. This comfortable well furnished apartment is situated on the first floor in the well sought after La Maestranza urbanisation. It is only a short walk to Puerto Banus and there are numerous shops, restaurants and bars together with a large supermarket and banks just a few minutes away. The urbanisation is situated in Nueva Andalucia in the heart of Golf Valley and very close to Marbella and the infamous Puerto Banus.
The Costa del Sol boasts a vast expanse of activities, sightseeing and history. Many within easy reach of the area where the apartment is located. The trendy and famous Puerto Banus, with its bars, clubs and restaurants, is less than 5 minutes drive away. In winter, you can breakfast on your terrace and by lunchtime you can be ski-ing on the Sierra Nevada Mountains near to Granada. Many of the famous golf courses are nearby and children (and adults!) can enjoy a day at the Selwo Safari Park. Gibraltar, with its history and tax free shopping is only 40 minutes drive away and a spectacular sight to see (don’t forget to take your passport with you). Ronda and the many surrounding white Andalucian villages have great historic interest and give an insight to the ‘real’ Spain. All along the Costa del Sol, there are safe and clean beaches. A visit to the town and beach of Tarifa, just beyond Gibraltar, is well worth it, especially if you are a keen windsurfer or kite boarder.
Travel and Arrival at Apartment
From all major airports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, you can fly to Malaga or Gibraltar. From either airport it is approx 30-40 mins drive to your holiday accommodation on the A-7 coastal road. You can hire a car, take a taxi, catch a bus or USE OUR OWN AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE (maximum of seven passengers) that will take you directly to your accommodation. Airport Transfers at very reasonable rates from both Malaga and Gibraltar are available in either a comfortable luxury car or in a minibus, which can take up to eight passengers. A full driving description and map will be sent to you before your arrival date. You will be met and shown to your apartment by one of us personally and we are to hand should you need any assistance during your stay.
Local Area Information
Puerto Banus: This is located just 10 minutes from the centre of Marbella, 5 minutes from the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, and 15 minutes from Estepona. Its famous port with luxury yachts, open air bars and restaurants attracts visitors from all over the world. During the day, it is a shopper’s paradise with many designer shops, boutiques and El Corte Ingles department store. In the evening, the bars, clubs and restaurants can entertain you throughout the night. There is a multi screen cinema, with at least one film a week in English, regular local boat trips and the popular Saturday market held near the bullring.
San Pedro: This lovely town sits between Puerto Banus and Estepona. It is an Andalucian style town with an abundance of shops, tapas bars and restaurants. It is only a short stroll from the bustling town centre to the beach, where you will find ample space to soak up the sun and enjoy one of the beach bars which offer a wide range of fish dishes as well as other local delights. San Pedro retains its Spanish atmosphere and is a great contrast to the neighbouring trendy Puerto Banus. A visit to the new Boulevard Park is well worth it where you can stroll, walk, jog, enjoy a coffee or watch the children play in the various playground areas.
