Three, exceptionally furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartments on a lovely complex in Puerto Banus
Overlooking the sea, mountains, swimming pools and gardens & only 10 minutes walk to centre of Puerto Banus and beach (3 min drive) walking distance to all amenities. This beautiful apartment is situated in the exclusive Senorio de Aloha complex, a 5-10 minute walk from the famous marina and beaches at Puerto Banus. It enjoys a spectacular panoramic view taking in both sea & mountains. The apartment has two bedrooms and is well furnished with marble flooring cable TV air conditioning/heating & secure underground parking. Each bedroom has a private bath/shower room and its own terrace/balcony overlooking one of the pools. There is a superior double bedroom and one twin. The lounge has a very comfortable three seater sofa and a two seater. A fully fitted kitchen is complete with microwave oven, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge-freezer, iron & all necessary utensils. The complex itself has 3 swimming pools (complete with waterfalls), children’s pools, a children’s play area, paddle tennis & beautiful gardens. Senorio de Aloha is located close to many fabulous golf courses. When you come back from your day sightseeing, at the beach or on the course you can park your car and head out to the nightlife on foot . There are many fantastic restaurants beside the complex but you can also stroll down to the port for a fabulous and extensive choice of cuisine
If you want value and the port, this is the place to be! If you still have any energy left you can hit the nightclubs but don’t worry if that is not your scene as they are very discreet and they don’t impose their existence to the non-clubber. Shopping: Designer shops such as Gucci, Versace, La Perla, Mango, Zara, are all represented but don’t worry if all you want is a tee-shirt try Poco Loco, all tastes and budgets are catered for in Puerto Banus. El Corte Ingles is a large department store and is a mixture of our John Lewis, waitrose and Harrods, has to be seen to be believed. The new Marina Banus centre offers an excellent range of boutiques. Like most of Spain the shops don’t close until 10pm so plenty of time to shop. Every Saturday at the Centro Plaza (next to the apartment) is a fabulous and huge market and is well worth a visit. The market is very busy with everything from plants & pottery to furniture & fashion.

5. On payment you will receive a confirmation email with all the relevant details needed, including key collection, special requests etc.
6. At this point you can decide whether you want to take advantage of their professional transfer service from the airport direct to the property (in English, French, German, Spanish or Russian).
7. Or if you are hiring a car, a detailed travel itinerary will be sent by PDF email how to find their office to collect the keys.
8. They are able to offer varying services prior to your arrival welcome packs, hire of beds, cots, high-chairs etc, hire of PS2 or Xbox, mobile modem hire for your laptop, etc... Please ask!
9. The property will be clean and ready for your arrival, with all the power on, the water hot and anything you requested in place.
10. If you have any requirements whilst you are there, all the contact details and the office location is detailed for you.
11. Finally on vacation, you will be instructed the outward procedure.

Pictures looked far better than the actual property. Beds not great(like bunk beds) for two mature adults. Kitchen cutlery left a lot to be desired(knives especially) Electric kettle could not be used as it seemed lid plastic was disintegrating when boiling. All mugs had cracks or chips at rim. We didnt meet the owner at all even though we requested that they inspect the premises before we left to confirm it was left as we found it with no breakages. We would have liked some contact. These are only minor things. The location of the property is perfect with the beach so near and accessible but the locking of iron gates made us a bit nervous.

The email I sent to you prior your stay clearly mentioned that I was happy for you to contact me at any time should you require anything during your stay and I left you 2 telephone numbers, and suggesting that we met if you wanted to. There was no response to that email.
I am sorry that you did not give me the opportunity to put things right for you during your stay.
When we spoke on the phone the day before you left Spain I asked you if everything had been ok for you and whether you had enjoyed your stay and your response was positive.
You asked me a question: "Will anybody be coming to check the villa before we leave"? To which my response was "No thats ok, I am sure everything will be alright". And it was, thank you.
I am not paranoid about breakages, accidents do happen and I dont take them any further, however the 3 mugs in question with a chip or crack will be removed, obviously for safefy reasons, genuinely overlooked and to be dealt with tomorrow when I revisit the property, luckily there were 6 cups & saucers to match the rest of the set.
The white handle cutlery: will be changed to stainless steel.
The kettle will be descaled and checked.
The heavy duty lock was not intended to be left at the property for your use. It is only used by us if the property is not being used. The key would have been sufficient. 99% of Spanish properties have iron grills on doors and windows. Not something we are used to in the UK.
The beds are English standard size singles which would seem small to anyone who is used to a double or kingsize at home.
We appreciate feedback at all times as we want people to enjoy their stay, hence the complimentary bottle of wine left for your enjoyment.
The property is in need of some remodernising and is a little on the expensive side compared to other properties. There are some 2 and 3 bedroom properties at the same price or less in this area.
The property is also for sale at the moment, so this was a little off putting.

The apartment is very tasteful furnished, and has a perfect location and a fantastic view.
The pool area is lovely and the walking distance to Puerto Banus is just perfect.
However the kitchen needs a few tools. It has appearently only been used for making breakfast and are not equipped for making dinner. There are no bowls, no blender or foodprocessor or nice wineglasses and the pots are in very poor condition.
The Bathrooms are OK, byt needs some more light and a few holders for both towels and toiletpaper.
It would also have been nice to have access to more towels and sheets during the stay.
We had a very nice stay, and would like to come back in spite of these missing details.
But next time we would like to have the apartment cleaned after the first week.
