Luxury 5 bedroom villa. Will sleep 8 comfortably. Walking distance of picturesque village of Moraira.
Villa Camino Estret is situated in a quiet picturesque road leading down to Moraira town. Literally opposite the villa is large area of olive trees and the villa enjoys panoramic views across the hills surrounding Moraira. The villa is raised from street level and has a gentle breeze, negating the need for air conditioning, although every room has a ceiling fan and we have fitted air conditioning to the master bedroom. In the Summer the property is bathed in sunlight from 8am to 8.30pm. Both the beach and town of Moraira are 15 walk away.
The house has electric gates providing safety and security.
Formerly a fishing village, Moraira has evolved without the hotels and apartment blocks that other towns like Javea, Denia and Calpe have which has meant it has retained a Spanish feel with the traditional square, church and cobbled streets. It still has its lovely harbour and castle and a great beach too all within walking distance from each other and from the villa.
The restaurants are second-to-none and Moraira has two with Michelin stars. Either side of Moraira are numerous coves and bays which can be easily visited by foot, or by car. Next to Moraira is Portet, another picturesque fishing village which enjoys a wide beach and shallow bay, ideal for swimming. Portet is about a 15 minute walk from Moraira town.
Much to do for kids - Benidorm/ Terra Mitica is only 30 minutes away. Javea is only 20 minutes away and has one of the best beaches in the area plus more great restaurants. Travel just 20 minutes inland and you can appreciate beautiful landscapes, mountains, unspoilt Spanish villages. The towns of Denia, Valencia, Olivia and Gandia are all well worth a visit.
Moraira itself is great for kids of all ages. There is a fun fair, jet skis near the beach, volley ball, a number of tennis courts, a go-kart track and a nightly street market in Moraira town every night.
We all had a brilliant time. We loved the fact that there was so much room downstairs so that our daughter and friend had their own space. The villa was well equiped. We did find on occasions it was very hot and was very grateful for the air conditioning in the master bedroom. The villa was in a very good position and within walking distant of the beach and town. We would certainly choose to come again.

Location of villa is excellent, 10 minute walk to beach, shops and resturants. Lovely villa, clean and very well equipt.Has everything you would need for a great holiday. Owners very helpful. Would recommend this villa and the area its in.
The town of Moraira is excellent quiet, relaxed lots of restaurants and bars to chose from. The owners of this property were great to deal with and very helpful. The villa is very well located and easy walking distance to the centre of town. We were let down with a few things in the property. The oven didnt work, my whole family had to climb over the security gate including my 70 year old aunt as it often didnt function properly. The sky tv also wasnt working but we were informed by neighbours this was a problem with tree growth blocking the signal. However, despite these small things the villa was lovely. with all rooms and pool being a good size.
Just to come back on the points made by Gillian: our oven works absolutely fine, just not when using the timer at the same time (we should of said), our gate had a temporary blip but is absolutely fine and unfortunately sky is notoriously bad in this area, not due to tree growth. As Gillian notes we are I think, easy and helpful to deal with and we emphasised that if there were any problems at all the family should contact us on our mobile, unfortunately they did not or we could of sorted these problems over the phone. We are pleased though that they did have a lovely time and enjoyed the villa and Moraira.
Beautiful villa in a wonderful location. Moraira is fabulous. Only negatives were a mix up with obtaining the keys to enter the villa; only one set of keys made it difficult when our group wanted to go out separately.
Camino Estret is very well appointed and modern, yet has been constructed in a traditional style using good quality materials.
Generous accommodation with plenty of bathroom/shower facilities.
The villa is situated in a quiet location and the beaches and town centre are a 10-15 minute walk away (15-20 on the way back - uphill). There is also ample parking in Moraira if you prefer to drive.
If there is a down side (being very picky here) the pool could be considered a bit small for a 5 bedroom villa, however, our party consisted of 7 people and it was sufficient for our needs.
The owners are very friendly and helpful people.
Overall, thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and would not hesitate to recommend. August 2006

Camino Estret represents tremendous value. The villa is located close to Moraira town and enjoys sun from sunrise to sunset.
The pool is particularly good for small children and the addition of a second lounge works well for evening entertainment.
Fantastic villa, great location. Everything you want for a family holiday!! And brilliant value for money too.
Highly specified new villa in a central location, close to Moraira town. Beautiful rooms, marble floors and nice to have ceiling fans everywhere, rather than air-con.
It was great being able to walk into Moraira in the evenings, as in July and August you can forget trying to park.
