This beautiful, modern and equipped holiday home, made of wood and bricks, has all types of amenities, a large garden with plants, a removable pool and many retreats where one can enjoy a very pleasant stay. It is located in the municipality of Mijas midway across the Costa del Sol: here you can enjoy a gentle temperature, without excessive heat in summer and mild winters. The location has a great waterfront with a coastline full of urban beaches and blue flags with dark sand, including rocky areas next to the cliffs, where you can practice scuba diving, underwater fishing and angling; others have golden sand and calm waters: beaches with a lively nightlife and with scenery for musical events in summer. These factors, and the fact that it is very well communicated by the Autovía del Mediterráneo (Mediterranean Motorway), with Marbella and Campo de Gibraltar, on the one hand, and with Málaga and its airport on the other, make tourism the main economic activity of Mijas. It has a countless number of restaurants, bars, shops and services serving both holiday visitors and the resident population who, in a large part, come from other countries of the European Union and have made Mijas their habitual residence. The cuisine of Mijas is based on traditional dishes, which can be savoured in its typical bars, or otherwise you can enjoy the international restaurants. It is highly recommended to take a stroll and go shopping in the typical outlets, visit the Museum of Miniatures of Mijas “El Carromato de Max” or the Contemporary Art Centre of Mijas, which houses the second most important collection of ceramics modelled by Picasso in the world. In addition, you can take advantage of the attraction that makes Mijas unique and many come to visit it on purpose: the burrotaxis (donkey taxis), a means of transportation which is typical of Mijas, used by tourists to take photographs and move through the most traditional streets in town, going on an unforgettable tourist adventure.

This beautiful modern villa is made from wood and brick and was originally built in 2003 and refurbished in 2015. The agent has rated it as a four star property so it is a well-equipped villa with above average furnishings. It is also great value for money. This villa mountain view; it is also only 5km from Mijas. The nearest airport is only 32km away. It is set in a good location, 8km away from a stone and pebble beach and 8km from a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant 1.5km away.

The villa has free WiFi. You can also park on-site at no extra charge. The villa is well equipped: it has a refrigerator, microwave and washing machine. It also has a barbecue, a garden and some garden furniture outside.

My very first impressions were not good the road leading to the villa left me extremely worried, it was a very narrow winding in the mountains and it got a lot worse the closer i got to the villa you had a shear drop at one side not a road you would want to travel in the dark, unfortunately i had no choice if i wanted to go out in the evening , there was no indication about this on the details.

The agent that meet us was very pleasant and helpful.

When I arrived at the villa itself and saw inside I could not fault it, it was as described in the details, i would go further it was better than i expected, the villa was very clean throughout, it is set on two floors with a lounge area on both levels with TVs the upper floor having the Kitchen, one twin bedroom and a double bedroom, large Family Bathroom, lounge and dinning room with access to the sun terrace, the gardener had just tided up by the gardens and cleaned the splash pool. The views from the Terrace were great especially in the evening watching the sun set. I did enjoy my time at the villa.

I wish I could have said this without my other comments, that would be unfair on others , in my mind this property is not suitable for the disabled because of the steepness of the drive and the amount of steps or for family's with small children the ground to the right of the building has a extremely deep raven next to it and very little to stop someone falling down it, there is also a tree house which would entice a child to try to get to it with possible disastrous results

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
