The property comprises of sitting room, sun room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a rear courtyard and enclosed garden, the garden is both private and secure.

A parking space is allocated next to the apartment. A shared pool is located behind the apartment and the beach is located at the bottom of the road
Lovely location with everything on your doorstep. The apartment has a quiet secluded garden with a secure side gate. The courtyard off the kitchen is lovely for eating breakfast alfresco and is semi covered. The front garden is lovely for sunbathing. The facilities across the road are family friendly and you have all you need within a 5 min walk. A home from home.

There is a choice of 5 golf courses within 15 minutes drive. Fuengirola beach has every facility for holidaymakers from paddle boats to paragliding.

There are 2 market days in Fuengirola and La Cala and 2 car boot sales each week. Excellent local bus service with connections to all major cities. 90 mins drive to Gibraltar for tax free shopping.

An ideal location for families from which to enjoy all the Costa del Sol has to offer. Nearby attractions include the Mijas Costa Aquapark, Tivoli World amusement park, Selwo Marina with dolphin show, Selwo Safari Adventure, Fuengirola Zoo, Torremolinos Crocodile Park and Quad Bike adventures.

If you want to explore further afield then historical cities of Granada and Seville are only two hours away. Car hire is available within a 1 minute walk of the apartment. Alternatively, scheduled coach tours will pick up and drop off locally.

We have now been to this fabulous apartment for the last 7 years and always arrive with a smile and leave with a tear! The apartment is like home from home for us. Its comfortable and clean and has everything you need for a family holiday. The pool is fabulous, the private garden is a real bonus and the local taverna (the Dona Maria) is just great....except for the waistline! My only complaint is when I leave each year its 50 weeks until I can come back!!!

Our stay was over and above expectations. I stayed at the Dona Maria apartment recently with my new husband. He was a bit reluctant to try the south coast of Spain but really loved it. We like to get around a bit and the hills behind the coast are spectacular. We took a trip to Rhonda which is really great and also Malaga itself which has got a really good castle. We were recommended the apartment by friends and it lived up to expectations. We had a bit of a problem with one of the shutters but it wasn’t really a big issue and was resolved. The thing we liked most was how homely it was. It pretty much had everything we needed. Also I don’t like too much heat but the rooms stayed cool all day. We would thoroughly recommend the Dona Maria Bar / Restaurant just up the road. Reasonable drinks and really great food. I especially like the house special chicken and the prawns pil pil. Lovely holiday – thanks.
I took my family to the Dona Maria flat last spring. Ive got some mobility problems so the garden without any steps to worry about was great. The best of it was I could relax in the garden with a beer without worrying what the kids were up to and were they safe etc. The weather was great apart from a thunderstorm one night and boy does it rain then! We hired a car (good value) to get about and the coast though it is built up is lovely. The flat itself is quiet and you don’t really get any noise from anything. Would recommend La Cala about 4 miles away – lovely beach. Fuengirola (6 miles) exceeded expectations and the zoo there is really top notch.I would definitely go again.

About the owner
This is a family owned and run apartment. It was bought in 2002 for my mother and father to live in but its only ever been used as a holiday home as my mother died in 2006. We have lots of regular customers who come back to the apartment year after year. We holiday there ourselves! I work as a project manager in Somerset for an international shoe company, I am honest, conscientous, respectful and I am happy to deal with customers who have the same qualities.
