The apartment is located in the quiet hillside complex, Atalaya de Mojacar, with a key position. From this top floor apartment you can enjoy panoramic views of the Med. On your doorstep with 2-3 minutes walk you will find a 18-hole golf courses: "Marina Golf Mojácar" which has its own driving range. Being in our top floor apartment with only the hill behind you we feel sure that you will really feel the tranquil surroundings and relax. If you want some exuberant time, a tourist complex made up of four large 4-star hotels is right next to the beach within 5-10 minutes walk, where guests can enjoy their facilities including spa centers ang gym. At the same point a good local bus service will take you down to anywhere along the ‘holiday strip’ of Mojacar Playa and up to the Spanish fishing town of Garrucha, where you can watch the days catch being auctioned off to local restaurants, ready for your evening meal. The newly opened large Lidl is within walking distance. There is something for everyone.
A large balcony crosses 3 rooms with outdoor furniture so that you can eat under sunshine with full view of Med coastline. An underground secured car park for guest. Two shared outdoor pools (one for children), one heated indoor pool with Jacuzzi. Outside green space with plenty plants/flowers.

the flat was in a lovely area between Mojacar & Garrucha, though I wouldnt recommend for anyone without a car or who cannot walk uphill. Loved the views from the balconies though no sun in the late afternoon/evening (October). Flat is spacious but a little tired with many items needing to be replaced, balcony doors stiff and needing attention, the bed setee was mock leather and peeling so pretty unpleasant to sit on as bits were flaking off and we had to brush them up every day as they were sticking to the bottom of our feet. The kitchen is adequate but some crockery chipped and cracked. Towels are very worn and need replacing. The cooker hood was very greasy and there was a problem with the drains as the flat smelled unpleasant - perhaps the people responsible for maintenance could take a look at this.
The owner was very helpful and did mention they were hoping to get a new setee and with a few tweaks here and there, the flat could be overall very well recommended.
The photos on this flat do it justice, both rooms are spacious and have built-in wardrobes, the flat is very clean and there is an en-suite with the master bathroom.
We had problems initially with the flat - we arrived at 1pm knowing that we couldnt get access to 3pm, however at almost 3.30pm there was still no key safe even though we had been sent the code! We called Carina (designated helper) she was there in 30 mins and gave us the keys for the flat. She also popped back during the week to provide us with a blanket for the sofa which was ripped and told us it is shortly to be replaced.
The pools are clean however you need a card to use them, we had difficulty getting this but left them at the flat to make it easier for the next renters! The life-guards are lovely and friendly.
The walk from the flat down the hill is ok but it is difficult to get back up, on average i would say at least a 10 minute walk.
The larger supermarket is about 10 mins drive away but it has everything you need.
The nearest sandy beach we found is about 10 minutes drive away (turn right at the roundabout and keep going) its opposite the blue lagoon restaurant (lovely english owner!) the food there is also lovely.
Would recommend the flat itself.
