Complete with an on-site tennis court the property also benefits from a private parking space within the garage with lift access.

Local Area
Although Duquesa Village is in a peaceful location, the bustling marina of Puerto de la Duquesa is a short drive or approximately 15 minute walk away, with a large selection of international restaurants, bars and shops. Within easy reach are the famous white villages of Mijas and Ronda, and the many blue flag beaches and golf courses of this area of the Costa del Sol.
Puerto de la Duquesa really is the Costa del Sols best-kept secret. Although within easy reach of the airports of Malaga (45 minutes) and Gibraltar (30 minutes), La Duquesa seems like a thousand miles away from the throng of the holiday resorts and offers an unparalleled quality of life in Southern Spain. The beautiful port of La Duquesa offers full marina services for boating enthusiasts as well as a myriad of attractions for those with no aspirations to take to the water. The attractive promenades encircling the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafés in which to while away the days. The vast choice of eating and drinking options include French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and, of course, Spanish with its fresh, local fish. Numerous services and grocers are also on hand.

The apartment was great and of a good standard but was unsure about the distances to places and from the airport as google maps was saying something else as what is discribed on this site. Its a nice area but its not a holiday resort as it is a residential area which is not stated on the site. The drive from the airport Malaga took 1 hr 15mins which is ok and the roads are very good. Not sure about the 45 mins unless your doing 160 km/h. The only down side is you need a car, as the area is on a hill. You can walk to the beach and port, but to be realistic allow a good 35 mins and more for the way back as its uphill. Hire a car and it will be fine. use google maps and see. I am quite fit so any one that is disabled would find this hard. Plenty of pools and great bars for eating out. I would go again,, just slightly annoyed with the lack of factual information. Please change all adverts for this area as a car is really required.

We had a really great time, your apartment is first class as is the whole complex. The main pool is especially inviting. the port is bustling and lively with an excellant choice of restaurants for all tastes. Great location for visiting surrounding towns like Gibraltar. This apartment is in the town but in a quiet area near the sea. It has a shared pool, a balcony, outside lighting and a sea view. Car hire is recommended as the apartment is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
