This brand new, luxury 2 bed roomed apartment is situated in the new Duquesa Village complex, with its breathtaking views of the Duquesa coastline on one side, and the Andalucian mountains on the other.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 double room with en suite jacuzzi bathroom and a twin room), large lounge / diner with dining table and sofa bed, kitchen and utility room (fully equipped with all utensils and appliances) main bathroom with bath/shower. Marble floors and air conditioning throughout. Large terrace balcony with views of the coastline and sea. Covered, secure parking with easy access to the apartment.

The apartment complex houses 7 shared pools.

Duquesa is situated approx midway between Marbella and gibraltar and lies within easy reach of both popular destinations. With almost year round sunshine, Duquesa (like the rest of the Costa Del Sol) is a paradise for both golfers and holiday makers.

The apartment is just a few mins drive from the beach (10-15 mins walk) and marina at Duquesa. The marina in particular is well known for its fine selection of bars and restaurants open all day and until late at night. All sorts of cuisines are catered for including traditional Spanish and Seafood, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, American, English and Thai.

The superb Duquesa Golf and Country Club is right on the door step of the apartment, with its world class facilities and 18 hole golf course for those who do not want to venture further a field.

Costa del Sol
Costa del Sol is a splendid destination for family breaks, couple retreats and also for golfers. Year-round sunshine and warm climate make it a perfect place for a relaxing break. Marbella (just 25mins away) and adjoining Puerto Banus are very popular destinations for lively nightlife, shopping and fine dining.

Golfers have over 40 courses to choose from, within 1 hours drive. Within 30mins drive include Almenara, Alcaidesa, Atalaya, Cortesin, Doña Julia, Estepona, La Quinta, Los Arqueros, Los Flamingos, MonteMayor, Park Finca, San Roque, Sotogrande and of course the world famous Valderrama .

For non-golfers, there are plenty of sites/towns to visit such as Ronda (splendid gorge), Casares (traditional rural village in the mountains), Sabinillas (traditional coastal town 5 mins drive), Gibraltar (20mins drive) and also Sewlo National Park (nature park 10mins drive).

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a small block, approximately 50m from the gated entrance to Duquesa Village. the apartment has air conditioning, is clean, in very good condition with a well fitted kitchen and a large balcony. One bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom, the other bedroom is a twin. There is a sofa bed in the living room. Quality of furnishings is good.

The apartment is 3 minutes walk from the communal pool. The pool is not ideal for toddlers or non-swimming children as the shallow end is about 1m deep and they would need constant attention. The pool was very quiet as the development was not particularly busy and there were quite often no more than 15 people in and around the pool at any one time. This was in late August. Apparently the resort of Duquesa was very much quieter this year generally (2010).

Access to Duquesa Village is up a steep hill. A walk from the apartament to the beach takes about 20 minutes (depending on how fit you are and how quickly you walk obviously!) and the walk back a bit longer as it is uphill. About halfway, there is a square with a couple of bars and restaurant. This is the nearest eatery to the apartment, and if you want more variety you do need to go to the marina where there is a good selec tion of restaurants and bars. Not sure what the nightlife is like as we were generally back at the apartment around 9/10pm but if you want a decent clubbing scene look elsewhere. A taxi back from the marina costs around 8 euros.

Would I go again? Yes, but next time I would hire a car.

This apartment is in the town and near a lively area. It has a shared pool, a balcony, outside lighting and a tennis court. Car hire is recommended as the apartment is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
