The property was very nice ,fantastic view from balcony the sun was on at 11am till sunset ,the reviews were right about the hill but taxis back up are cheap and available ,all English channels and some foreign on the TV, restaurants and shops nearby and only one complaint was the conservation area at the back were the entrance to the apartment is, at night there are stray dogs that are living in this area and constantly bark through the night. Some nights we actually slept on the sofas or cat napped on the balcony during the day this was quite annoying like most English we did not complain as we felt it might upset some of the residents in the complex who were actually feeding the dogs outside the fence to the right of the balcony, hopefully these will have been taken care of by a dog warden or animal charity.

Lovely apartment, looks better than the photos. Very clean and bright. View from the balcony was beautiful (day & night) not over looked. Every thing you want in the apartment and was was very peaceful. I dont think the advert mentions a safe, thankfully there is one. The complex was very nice, swimming pool spotless. The hill is a bit of a climb but kept us fit !!!!! The filtered water by the pool was very cheap, less than a euro for 8 litres. Near some nice restaurants, try Balti Balti if you like Indian. Would definitely go back.

There are many things we could tell you about this property but by far the most stunning is the view and the fact that as a penthouse you are not overlooked in any way and so our holiday was peaceful and relaxing. Port Royale is in a lovely area with many local amenities and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Dont be put off by tales of the hill, it is steep and long but if paced can be managed by most. 52 is a neat small, well equipped apartment with all the basic facilities you could need. A few areas may need a little up grading but generally it is delightful and we would definitely return there for a holiday. If you want somewhere peaceful, with stunning views both day and night and accessible to many of Tenerifes attractions or just want to laze on the balcony everyday then this is a property you must consider.

This apartment perfectly suited my needs as a single holidaymaker who just wanted a quite holiday in the sun. The Apartment is very spacious and exactly as advertised. LOADS of storage space for your clothes etc, the Kitchen equipment is perfectly suitable to cater for holiday meals, and the TV gets all the main British Channels plus a few extra as well. Free apartment WiFi was a bonus! The Balcony gets the sun from about midday onwards, its of adequate size, is not overlooked by anyone, and has an amazing panoramic view over Los Cristianos. The complex itself was very quite both during the day and at night. There was no competition for the limited sunbeds, and I only ever encountered a maximum of 12 people around the pool at any one time. Theres no denying it is definitely at the top of a very long, steep hill, but I was happy to use it as the daily exercise to offset the laziness of lying in the sun for the rest of the day! Taxis are cheap and plentiful though, so its certainly not a disadvantage for the apartment. I will definitely book again.

We loved the views from the balcony and spent lots of time watching the world go by from there. The apartment had everything we wanted and there were lots of good restaurants within a short walk. The walk up the hill is a bit tough and it took us a couple of days to get used to it. If you want the beach then it is a bit of a hike to get there but we found it so windy when we got there that we preferred to use the balcony or the area by the pool. The supermarkets close by are reasonable priced and we tended to buy fresh bread each day from the Spar in the Passarella Oasis shopping centre for our lunch. The one slight problem we had was the small ants which were in the bathroom and sometimes found their way in to the kitchen so we had to make sure all food was sealed when stored away.

Absolutely fabulous. Very well maintained property and complex. We found the little things made all the difference such as good sized cups, sharp knives. good oven and big soft fluffy pillows. Cleaning service was second to none and bedding etc was spotless. The view from the balcony is incredible and we enjoyed watching the new year fireworks from here where you could see all across the island. Although the climb up to the apartment is steep it did not bother us as we are both kind of fit but if you are at all unable to do a steep walk for about ten mins the taxis are obviously quite used to taking people up to the complex. The only down side is we were unable to connect to the internet to face time family at new year as the connection is temperamental but I think this is a common fault over the complex. It certainly didnt spoil our holiday in any way. Would like to thank you very very much for the use of your wonderful apartment.

I booked this apartment because it stated it had air conditioning but found out it had only ceiling fans. I think the advert needs to state this. The veiw from the apartment made up for the very steep hill. We had a lovely week in the apartment.

The apartment differed from the advert in one major respect, most unusually it was better in reality that the online description and pictures indicated. As others have mentioned it is at the top of a long and increasingly steep hill, but do not let that put you off because firstly the exercise will do you good -) secondly even if you cannot or prefer not to climb the hill taxis from the centre of Los Cristianos are plentiful and cost €3.15 right to the door and finally what you get for being at the top of the hill is one of the best views from your balcony in the whole resort. If you are looking for a bright, clean, quiet location to get away from it all and unwind then number 52 fits the bill on all counts.

Very nice apartment with amazing views and sunsets will return next year

Had a very enjoyable week in this comfortable apartment. The view was superb. The only thing stopping us giving this an excellent rating was the issue that one of the power sockets was loose, which concerned a little. It must be said though that this did not detract from a lovely week.
Owner reply:

Thank you for the lovely feedback. We did not know about the loose power socket but that has now been fixed. Thank you for pointing it out.

Clean and tidy apartment, nicely furnished and well equipped. Views from the balcony are spectacular, probably the best in Los Cristianos. The walk up the hill is not for the faint hearted but worth it - helps to work off all the food and drink.

This was a lovely apartment, it was a long walk uphill but worth it for the wonderful views. We were very lucky as we had no one in the adjoining apartments so it was very secluded and quiet. We spent many happy hours sunbathing on the balcony. A very enjoyable week.

We found the apartment absolutely ideal for the two of us. The view from the balcony is fabulous and the fact that a pair of binoculars were supplied was great. The situation is perfect for a peaceful break and we would certainly book this one again. Air conditioning would make it even better.

We felt that overall the apartment was very nice and had an excellent view of Los Cristianos and the sea. We enjoyed our stay very much but would only recommend it to those who are able to walk up steep footpaths from day to day when out and about.... It kept us fit!

I couldn't fault the apartment, and the owner was most helpful. The views from the balcony were superb. Nice walk down to the centre of Los Cristianos, but a steep return.

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a great holiday
Stayed Tuesday 05 September 2006
The reason my overall rating is only good is because of the situation of the apartment. It is at the top of a long winding climb from the sea front and although the views are fantastic I feel it is not suitable for the elderly or anyone who has mobility problems. That aside we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This is an excellent rental property, Beautifully furnished with stunning views. We particularly appreciated two lovely leather sofas to stretch out on in the evenings. Covers are provided to protect from sun cream. The arrangements for keys for arrival and departure were remarkably easy. No hassle whatsoever. The apartment was really clean, towels and bedding provided. Because we were there for two weeks we had a bed linen and towel change half way through. I was particularly impressed that the beds were made up for us at linen change. We really enjoyed our stay. We were well looked after with no imposition. I recommend this apartment without reservation.464
An amazing apartment with its own stunning view. Got there fine absolutely no problems, once I was in the decor and feel of the apartment exceeded anything I was expecting for that price range. The pool within the apartment complex was extremely kept and quiet. Everything you could have wanted was in walking distance and taxis are cheap if you didnt fancy a stroll. Would recommend to all family and friends.
We arrived at the apartment around midday and our key was not left where Rental Systems said it would be. After an hour and a half of waiting for someone to come with the key my partner went to reception and thankfully the couple who look after the apartment for the owners were there, they were extremely helpful and let us in, although Rental Systems had not let the owner know we were coming hence the key not being there. No fault of the owners. They let us in and we were greeted with breath taking views from the terrace and a clean, spacious apartment. We were very happy. The walk is a little tiring but definately worth it, if you dont want to walk its just over 3Euros for a taxi from the beach. The complex was very pretty, well maintained and very peaceful, just what we were looking for. We would love to return to 52 Port Royale, it was pure bliss.
Owner reply:

Thank you for the email. The on-site staff did know you were due at the apartment but your arrival time was not sent to them. I apologise for my error but I was away at the time and they could not get hold of me for your arrival time. Instead they prepared the apartment and assumed you would go to reception. Apart from this I am so glad you had a lovely time at the apartment and I do hope we can welcome you back in the future.

Perfectly located for those who prefer a more peaceful vacation but still wish to be near all the facilities you would wish for from a holiday in Tenerife. The accommodation must have one of the best views in Los Cristianos. The local residents were very friendly. There is a very brief, steep incline to get to the accommodation but the view makes it worthwhile. For those not able to make the climb, there are endless taxi ranks on the walk back from the harbour. The property was well equipped and very clean. Very pleased and would definitely come back to the property.
Stayed for a week beginning of November 09. Port Royale was as peaceful as always. The apartment was well equipped and nicely decorated and beds were very comfortable. We have stayed on Port Royale and always choose and apartment that has the breathtaking views over the harbour and out to sea. This apartment was no exeption - fabulous views!!! Went out to Tenerife with frazzled nerves and came back feeling totally relaxed.
we had a fantastic week at 52 port royale which exceeded our exspectations. the descriptions were spot on and the view from the balcony was stunning, espacialy at night with all off los christianos lit up. facilitys in the apartment were first class, and having some valuable extras such as the hair dryer and binoculars would save us bringing our own if we came again. yours pete and sue atkinson
Very well appointed apartment, every thing you could possibly need. The binoculars are useful given the wonderful view from the balcony.Even a set of golf clubs in the wardrobe!Loads of hanging and drawer space.Owners on site and very obliging.Only drawback to us sixty pluses is the hill, still taxis very reasonable.
This property met our every need during the stay and we found it immaculately clean. For us, the location is perfect because it is at the top of the hill you are pretty much guaranteed peace and quiet away from passing pedestrians or traffic. Just remember that it is at the top of the hill and may not suit the frail or elderly - but of course taxis are in abundance and they're not expensive. Good sized balcony with views down to the town and beach, and it catches the sun from noon onwards.
