Apartment overview - owner's description

Our apartment is in a fantastic location for couples and families alike. Close to the famous Villamartin golf course and beautiful sandy beaches.

Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante consists of around 200 km of Mediterranean coastline though its borders aren't strictly defined.

The apartment is located in the south of the Alicante province of Orihuela-Costa, close to residential areas Villamartin, Campoamor, Cabo Roig and La Zenia.

With a great range of beaches linked by a public footpath (without the high-rise apartments overlooking them), as well as the towns and cities of Orihuela, Cartagena, Elche, Alicante and Murcia, they provide the area offering the visitor an unrivalled range of leisure and services each town and city is well worth a day trip whether for sightseeing, museums or shopping.

Only 5 km from the coast, it is possible to practice water sports and sailing throughout the year, thanks to the region’s excellent climate, with temperatures of around 20ºC, and over 300 days of sunshine a year.

In addition, three local golf courses situated within the area, making this the ideal location for golfers.

This 2 bed Apartment is situated in Idyllic surroundings, with not just 1 swimming pool on your door, but 9 others to choose from! Lomas De Golf is within walking distance to the famous Villa Martin Plaza, where you have many Bars, Restaurants, Cafes, Banks, a Pharmacy, and Supermarket. It also has the local Riding Stables just minutes away.

The Apartment itself has a large and spacious lounge. There is a comfy corner leather sofa to relax on whilst watching the 32″ Flat Screen TV and UKTV package,

The kitchen has been fully fitted with Gas 4 Ring Hob and Oven and all white goods, and the utility room is home to the washing machine. Bedroom 1 had 2 single beds, complete with bedding and towels, stand alone wardrobe and an Overhead Ceiling Fan. The good-sized bathroom has a bath tub, overhead shower, W.C and Wash Basin.

In bedroom 2 there is storage galore with Fitted wardrobes and ample storage space, with a double sized bed and leather headboard. This bedroom leads out onto the private back terrace, where you will find garden table and chairs to seat 4, for those who enjoy al-fresco dining.

This continues out on to the large crystal blue communal swimming pool and gardens. To the front of the property, you also have more outdoor space with another private terrace and conservatory. There is ample parking outside the property, and a security guard securing the complex and 24 Hours a day during the holiday season.

With front and back terrace locking gates, the apartment is ideal for small children.

The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact).

The nearest beach at La Zenia has golden sand and a life guard patrols for your safty, there are many beaches and coves where you can walk along the waters edge.

The new shopping complex has many favourite stores all in one place. La Zenia Boulivarde has entertainment for all the family from Ten pin bowling to Casino and a variety of different types of food.

At Playa Flamenca just along from the shopping complex is the Saturday Market from 8am - 2pm well worth a visit.
The town of Torrevieja a short drive away has a lovely harbour and Sea front where there is a street market every evening, plenty of eating establishments are open into the early hours.

The minimum age for booking this apartment is 25, there must be at least one person 25 years of age or over.

We had a lovely 2 weeks stay at the property. It is situated in a lovely complex with amenities close by. This apartment is ideal for families and the swimming pool is superb. La Zenia boulevard is 8 mins drive and has everything you could want - shops, cafes, restaurants, children's activities, splash fountains, and a huge supermarket. In the apartment, I would suggest some plastic cups and plates for children (would save taking your own - which I did). Apartment could have been cleaner - I would say this was its only downfall. Would definately recommend otherwise.

We had a lovely 2 weeks holiday at this apartment. It was clean and spacious with plenty storage. We had a burst pipe whilst we were there which interrupted only 1 day of our holiday but was dealt with swiftly by the owner who sent a plumber the same night who came and fixed the problem the following morning. His communication was very good and quick. The apartment had plenty of crockery but could have been more child friendly with some plastic cups, plates etc for the children. There were none and I had to buy some at the supermarket. We were also disappointed that the owner did not supply any sunbeds for around the pool and we had to lie on our towels on the grass and buy some mats (which we left in the utility room).This aside it did not spoil our holiday. The apartment is in an excellent position for Villamartin Plaza and in walking distance which we did with the children most evenings. We always had a parking space outside the apartment after days/evenings out. We would recommend the apartment and we would definitely stay again.

Also the provision of such things such as plastic cups and plates, a cool box for the beach or water parks would be a great advantage for families. These have been provided in previous apartments and a great help. This is not a complaint just a suggestion for future rentals for families.

All in all a lovely apartment and great holiday would recommend.

This apartment is in a village near the beach. It has a shared pool, a balcony, a children pool area, outside lighting and a shared garden. Car hire is necessary as the renter will need a car to get about for shopping, eating out and the beach; however parking is not available.

We live in the UK on the coast in East Sussex and are in our early 60's. We often thought about owning a place in the sun and Villamartin on the Costa Blanca seemed the ideal location. An up and coming area easy access from two main Airports, minutes from Sandy Beaches, Golf Clubs and the new La Zenia Boulivard Shoping Center. What more could you possibly want! We go to the apartment a couple of times during the year, family and friends also visit. We find that the summer months too hot for us so June, July and August are possibly the best time for renting it out. We have somone looking after the place for us who can meet and greet anyone that want's to stay there. Happy Holidays!! Tim & Eva
