Villa overview - owner's description

La Torre Golf Resort is a beautiful development comprising of apartments, Townhouses and Villas surrounding the 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. This is a nicely furnished terraced house with no less than two beautiful terraces overlooking the golf course of the impressive 1,400,000 square metre complex.The living room is of a good size and is adjacent to a semi-open kitchen. It has been nicely finished in a contemporary style and has always been well maintained. There are two bedrooms, one on the ground floor the other on the first floor sleeping a total of four persons.The location is a perfect option for holiday makers and golfers alike as it is only a few kilometres from the best beaches of the Mar Menor, and the resort also offers plenty of facilities such as pools, tennis courts, bars, restaurants a supermarket and even a hairdresser.

This solidly constructed modern villa was recently built in 2007. The agent has rated it as a four star property so it is a well-equipped villa with above average furnishings. It is also great value for money. This villa has use of a shared pool and is located in La Torre Golf Resort, only 2km from Roldan. The nearest airport is only 20km away. It is set in a good location: there is a restaurant only 500 metres away.

The villa has free wireless internet. You can also park on-site at no extra charge. The villa is well equipped: it has a refrigerator, microwave and washing machine. It also has a garden and some garden furniture outside.

Upon arriving at the resort we were met by Anne who took the time to explain in details about the resort and surrounding area. Although we was expecting an apartment with a rooftop soloriam we was surprised at the standard and presentation of what turned out to be a townhouse. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchenette, patio, large balcony and rooftop terrace. This was complemented even further by the high standards within the complex. Over the years we have travelled across various countries in apartments and hotels and to be perfectly honest this is one of the best. If I had to be critical the only thing I could identify as an area to improve would be that the bedding smelt damp but we quickly rectified the following morning with a wash (washing machine included on patio) and airing in the lovely warm sunny breeze.
We were so impressed with the resort and standard of accommodation we are looking to return to view and purchase a property of our own.

P.s don’t be put off by the beach and airport being 12 miles away, although a car is a must the drive is like the stay, truly relaxing with next to no traffic at all.

Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
