This new two-storey Townhouse has on-site 24 hour security with a gated entrance to the resort, providing an exclusive and private holiday or golf location. The townhouse is furnished to a very high standard & comprises of the lounge, with Cable TV providing all the major channels.Also a Bed sofa for an extra 2 people as required. Patio doors to back provide lots of light, and leads to the al fresco dining area which seats 6 people and overlooks the 6th tee. Also downstairs is a bathroom, twin bedroom and Dining area. Upstairs is a further twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and doors leading onto the terraced area. There is also a second floor terrace ideal for sun worshipers. 2 sets of Golf clubs for your use whilst staying! Also 2 tennis rackets for guest use.

There is a parking space at the front of the townhouse as well as ample off road parking. The townhouse has everything you need for that perfect holiday!



What the region has to offer
The autonomous region of Murcia lies in the southeast of the Spanish mainland. It borders Castile-La Mancha in the north, the region of Valencia in the east, the Mediterranean sea in the south, and Andalusia in the west.

The coastline of Murcia is characterised by its sandy beaches. The most beautiful natural wonder on the coast is the Mar Menor. It is a shallow lagoon or pool, which is the largest of its kind in Spain. The water in the lagoon is very salty and maintains a hot temperature (5ºC above the average Mediterranean temperature). It has four openings or passages that lead to the sea. The mountainous scenery of the region is full of foothills that roll in from the Penibetica and Subbetica ranges that help create the Guadalentin river and Sangonera depressions. The most outstanding part of the area is without doubt the Revolcadores massif, that reaches an altitude of 2,027 metres. The El Caruche, Espuña, La Pila and Ricote sierras are all over 1000 metres high.

Among the other splendid buildings to see in Murcia is the Bishops Palace located near the Cathedral. Dated 1748 it has two wonderful facades. The Convent Church of Santa Ana is 18th century and is the third church to be built on this site, the original being1490. Here you can try the freshly baked cakes, made by the nuns and served through a revolving hatch. The Church of San Miguel stands on the site of an earlier church. The 18th century church has wonderful coloured altarpieces. The Almudi dates from 1602 and was formerly the storage place for public corn collected as tithes. It was reconditioned in 1985 and now houses the art centre and city archives.

Brilliant place to stay! Plenty of room indoors and out, lots of room to park and has a lovely roof terrace. It also has wifi and english tv which was brilliant for my other half! Cannot fault Paul the owner, he was very good to us. Polaris world itself is like a little town, took us a while to explore everywhere :) The townhouse is very close to the Spar supermarket, which was very handy. Great view from the outside/upstairs balconies onto the golf course. We were able to check in and out around our flight times, very pleased with our stay! Thanks Paul x

We had a lovely stay at Casa Hughsie. The townhouse was in a great position with shop, pools and Polaris Town Centre all within short walking distance. Golf views were good. We stayed at La Torre last year but would say this apartment was better, the only exception being no air con upstairs. The owner was very helpful before we went, answering any questions I had and the property managers were friendly and helpful. Thanks very much for an enjoyable stay. Cambpells

Villa was lovely, clean and spacious enough. Loved the terrace overlooking the golf course. Pool area nice. Not busy like a resort would be. Quiet area but that suited us. Golf clubs provided very useful.

This townhouse is in a super location within the resort. Very close to the supermarket and town centre, terrific views of golf course and plenty of outside space to enjoy. The townhouse is immaculate with very comfortable living space. The key holder is extremely helpful and a phone call away if needed. My family and I will definitely rent this townhouse the next time we visit La Torre.

We (2adults 1child) had a thoroughly enjoyable stay for 2 weeks july/august 2008. The house was immaculate, in a wonderful quiet position overlooking the golfcouse and extremely convenient for the supermarket without being disturbed by it. The nearest pool was a little further than we had expected which may be an issue for anyone with small children but certainly within walking distance even loaded down with lilos , towels & any other paraphenalia! The resort itself is quite a way from anywhere really so a car would be essential for the beaches, nightlife etc. We drove almost 1000 miles during our 2 weeks but that was our choice as we wanted to see as much of the surrounding area as possible. We would certainly book casa hughsie again and would recommend it to anyone.

It appears that the pool Ann went to was not the closest (there are over 20 communal pools). When you leave the property and walk to the left, at the end of the road (150m) you need to cross the road and 50m on the right hand side is the entrance to the communal pool! There is now a map showing all pools on the site in the townhouse.
