Ideal for extenended families or friends. Consists of a two bedroom apartment sleeping 4 a double bedded studio sleeping 2, a studio with a double bed and single bed and single bedroom off sleeping 4.
A single fold out bed is available in the apartment lounge and cots can be supplied. Each unit has its own kitchen area, shower room, terrace with gas BBQ and outdoor seating together with Digital TV and DVD player.
The gardens are there for you to enjoy and our guests love relaxing in the gazebo placed in a quiet corner ideal for reading, playing cards or just musing.
The area is perfect for walkers with numerous waymarked tracks of varying levels of difficulty. The scenery and tranquillity are the major attractions of the area where the houses are generally holiday homes of Spanish from Gandia and Madrid.At the entrance to La Drova is a natural parc with an onterpretation centre which explains the local geography and how it supports the flora and flora.
1km from La Drova is the village of Barx with supermarkets, butchers, a baker, pharmacy, tobaconist and hairdressers. The village was started by the monks of the local monastery who needed labour to work the fields and housed 5 families for centuries. Eventually the tenants were given the land and the local village was formed and created their own local democracy. Evidence of the local family names are all around in business and shop names.

Extra information (Beautiful views of mountains on either side of the valley. A haven for walkers of all abilities. The area is quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. A 20 minute car journey takes you to a selection of beaches ranging from Gandia which has been voted the best facilities on the Med. to Piles which is unspoilt and undeveloped. On street parking is directly outside the property in a queit residential road. Barx is 1km away and has 2 small supermarkets, 2 bakers, 3 butchers a tobacconist and pharmacy, The bars are all welcoming and provide locally produced meals at very reasonable prices. More extensive shopping is available in nearby Gandia. All linen and towels are included, even beach towels to help with airline weight restrictions.)

Value for money
We booked two apartments here in late May and had a wonderful time. The apartments and pool were clean and private. Also the hosts were extremely helpful. Barx, down the road, has a couple of great bars serving simple, tasty food (the locals were all very friendly). A car is definitely needed to stay here. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a peaceful break. Cant wait to go back!
The property suited our needs perfectly- in that we had 2 familys and a granny in our party so could separate out a bit. We liked the fact that the pool gate could be locked to stop young children entering the pool area unsupervised. We felt the directions to the property were very basic and could have given us more detail and the property had no signage outside so we did not know when we had arrived. We felt the pool needed more maintenance, the water was a bit cloudy on our arrival and everyone came down with ear infections, saying that the weather was exstreamly hot the week we were there. The pool area and gounds had plenty of shade, which we found essential due to the weather. We enjoyed the location being only 20 minutes from the beach and within easy reach of shops and restaurants. all in all a good week.

Point taken on maintenance and this has received special attention. The pool is refurbished and we have a permenent specialist who comes in twice a week. We have no signage as the property is in a residential area.

Having both had successful careers we now have our own management development company. In summer we live in Spain and love to host at our villa.
