A very well presented townhouse in the very popular urbanization of La Cinuelica. The townhouse is in a gated community with its own communal swimming pools and gardens. The property has 2 bedrooms and 1 and a half bathrooms, seperate kitchen, front garden and roof-top solarium. It is located close to all amenities and approx 15 mins walk from the local beach at Punta Prima.
Ground floor description
On entering the property through the front door you enter the living / dining room with tiled floors and door to the downstairs cloakroom / WC and archedentrance into the kitchen. Stairs lead to the 1st floor. The living rooms is very tastefully appointed with 2 comfortable leather sofas, rustic wooden furniture comprising of a dining table and 4 chairs, a coffe table and a TV unit with drawers under. There is a TV and DVD player for your entertainment and the room is air-conditioned.
The downstairs cloakroom is fitted with WC and wash hand basin with mirror over.
Pass through the archway into the kitchen. The kitchen has all necessary white good, fridge/ freezer, oven and hob, washing machine. It is fully equipped for 4 persons with crockery and utensils. Outside is a small utility yard.
First floor description
To the first floor is the landing with 2 bedrooms and the main bathroom leading off. Further stairs lead up the the roof solaruim.
The master bedroom is tastefully furnished with rustic wooden furniture comprising of a double bed and and two bedside cabinets with drawers. The second bedroom has twin beds and a bedside cabinet. This bedroom has patio doors that lead to a private balcony. The main family bathroom is located off the landing with bath and shower over, WC, bidet and wash hand basin with vanity mirror over. Take the stairs to the private roof solarium with views to the sea and nearby Torrevieja.
This property is a 20 minute walk to Punta Prima beach and an easy drive to others including La Mata, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras. Most have bars and restaurants open in the summer. Shops, bars, restaurants and banks are all within an easy 5 min walk from the property. There are excellent golf courses and the Aquapolis Water Park within a 10 minute drive. Torrevieja town and the Habaneras shopping centre are only a ten min drive (local bus every 30 mins). The towns of Guardamar, Elche, Mar Menor, Murcia and Alicante are within easy reach where there are excellent beaches and restaurants. The seafront at Torrevieja is a great place to visit with its street markets, port and promenade where there are a selection of bars and restaurants. A funfair is entertaining for the kids at night time and there is also a market. For those wanting to travel a little further Benidorm is just over an hour away where there is Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia, & Mundo Mar.
Behind the coast, there are fantastic mountain ranges which block the wind from the interior of Spain giving the Costa Blanca a pleasant microclimate. In the winter the temperature hardly ever drops below 15 degrees Celsius. It rains very little; on average, the Costa Blanca has more than 320 days of sunshine a year.
There are several within walking distance including: , Consum, Carrefour, Lidl and Aldi. Several of these are located close to petrol stations.
There are a number of places on the strip in Punta Prima and at the Punta Marina commercial centre ranging from traditional Spanish to International cuisine. The best place for family restaurants is Playa Flamenca Beach centro commercial. Food choices available include French, Spanish, English and German. There are loads of bars, often with live music. Alternatively - head down to the N332 over the blue bridge - a good atmosphere in season and plenty of good restaurants to choose from - Great Indian, Thai, and Italian - all family. If you like Tapas - go down to Nautilus. Torrevieja is just a 10 minute drive, with a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops.
Days Out & Things to do
The ideas are endless. For those interested in travelling to Benidorm the attractions include the Terra Mitica Amusement park and shows and the Mundomar Marine Park with dolphinarium. Closer to Murcia there is the Terra Natura Wildlife park and Aqua Natura Waterpark with lazy river and water chutes. In Torrevieja there is the Aquopolis Water Park with slides. There is also a Go Carting Track within walking distance. There are 2 local markets in Playa Flamenca on a Saturday and Torrevieja market which are held on a Friday and is probably the largest market in the area.
For a day out why not consider an Island Boat Trip to Tabarca Island. As well as Torrevieja
There are several interesting historic towns and cities to explore such as Murcia, Cartagena, San Javier, Guadalest and Villajoyosa.
Mar Menor is also worth a visit. This is an area of unprecedented beauty and also protected as a Regional park area. There are loads to do from nature walks, bird watching, diving, and horse ridding and superb beaches.
Cabo Roig Harbour has a water sports centre. Choose from jet skis, wakeboards and windsurfing. Or enjoy a day of dolphin spotting and fishing on one of the many sea fishing trips available.
If you are a keen golfer you will not to be needed to be told of the golfing opportunities within the Orihuela Costa and in fact the Costa Blanca as a whole. There are several championship quality golf courses, within very short drives of our holiday rental. The 4 closest to the property include: La Finca at Algorfa, Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor, Las Rambles, all approx 10-15 minutes drive.
There are two bus services an hour to Torrevieja and a local bus service to the beaches and to Cabo Roig. There is a Taxi rank at Punta Prima and we can also provide a taxi number. A car is not essential when staying at La Cinuelica, but if you wish to explore to surrounding area we do advise that you hire a car.
Alicante airport is approx 40 minutes drive and Murcia airport is approx 25 minutes drive.
