La Cinuelica is a new urbanisation composed of villas and apartment blocks restricted to 3 storeys. It is situated in the sunny Costa Blanca, in an area reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world. There are numerous Blue Flag beaches nearby, the closest of which is Punta Prima, just 1Km away. The urbanisation is easily accessible from 2 international airports, Alicante and Murcia. The neighbourhood is quiet and relaxing with a choice of activities nearby. The bustling town of Torrevieja is just 5Km away, and it hosts an outdoor market every Friday, said to be the biggest outdoor market in Spain. Just 15 minutes walk from the apartment are Villa Park III and La Florida, locally known as "Commercials", which host a variety of bars, restaurants and internet cafes. 5 to 10 minutes walk away are 2 supermarkets and a car rental. The apartment complex has a beautiful swimming pool, outdoor parking and the apartment itself offers a furnished, south facing balcony with a sea view.

Sleeping Arrangements
There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, both with built-in wardrobes. The double bedroom has a built-in digital safe. Both rooms have bedside lockers, lamps and ceiling fans. There is a sofa-bed that can sleep an additional 2 people. Bedding and towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes kettle, crockery, fridge, cooker, oven, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board. The dining area has a table and chairs for 4. The sofa comfortably seats 3. Both living and dining areas have ceiling fans for your comfort. For your entertainment a TV, DVD, CD/Stereo system are provided together with a small selection of DVDs and CDs.

Considring we chose the cheapest apartment offered, the facilities were acceptable. Our critiicisms were with the advert that stated there was a "digital safe" not there. Telivision which did not work. Two electric bulbs not working. No Cds or DVDs as quoted in the advert, and no spare toilet rolls. O
Owner reply:

Actually there is a safe in the floor of the wardrobe in the main bedroom. Sorry about the TV I am buying a new one. I will make sure there are adequate bulbs and toilet rolls in future. I did have CDs and DVDs in the apartment but they must have all been stolen over time. I will get some new ones.

The first impression of the apartment was that it was certainly not "luxury" accommodation as misleadingly described in the advert. The furniture and facilities where basic and in some cases sub-standard. I will briefly describe my findings.. Firstly there was the TV which was about 14" and could not receive any channels whatsoever. It was even provided with a remote control without batteries so i had to go and buy some just to see if i could tune in some channels. I couldnt. There was a DVD player but even if i had DVDs to play on it, it would not of been a pleasant viewing experience. The Settee/sofa bed in the lounge area was a bit dirty and uncomfortable to sit on and is not really suited to a party bigger than two. The dining table and chairs where adequate enough for dining and comfortable enough for that purpose but not comfortable for longer periods. The garden furniture was adequate for my needs but the chairs need replacing (accept for the green one) with a matter of urgency as they have been weakened by the sun and are just waiting to collapse. The cutlery was thrown randomly in a draw and did not have a tray for them but the selec tion was adequate enough for out needs along with the pans and plates etc. The only exception to this was they did not have a colander of which i had to go out and buy. The Ironing board was literally falling to bits but this was promptly replaced upon reporting. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms along with two in the lounge/dining area but they could do with a service with the one in the lounge being the only one that spun quick enough to make any difference. Some positives are that the location is not too far a walk from a nice selec tion of bars, restaurants and supermarkets but i would suggest a car if you wanted to take sunbeds etc to the beach. The communal pool if of a good size and although i never used it myself, looks very clean and well kept. Another positive was having such fantastic and helpful neighbours in Mark & Shirley. They were always on hand to answer any questions and assist where they could. A great couple which made the stay a more pleasurable one in light of some of the negatives listed above. To summarise. I would stay in this apartment again but would be keeping an eye out for some improvements first. If no improvements were made then i would definitely look elsewhere as i believe you can get better for a lesser price.
Stayed Saturday 26 April 2014 with Family
At first, the address has mistake at number of home and we after a 12 hour journey with children (2 and 3 y.o.), was looking for a house which does not exist almost an hour . Secondly, we were not able to meet the key-holder, as she was out of town, but thank God she left the key in a secret place. To pick up the key at 5 in the morning she did, she slept, and was asked to leave the key in the same secret place. Thirdly, apartment was dirty, dusty floor. In the bathroom was no soap, only a little bit of toilet paper :). After us the apartment was cleaner than before our arrival, were all washed up, as we were with children and to live in dust and dirt apartment we didnt want. Quantity of dishes in the kitchen are too little, its are in bad condition. We bought for children 2 plates, saucers simply collapsed from cracks,

The apartment was just as it said and more. Had all the amenities you needed. Was large enough to fit 5 of us in. Washing machine, microwave, cooker, plenty of cutlery,bath and shower. plenty of cupboard space. Inside dining, outside patio. Sun loungers to take to the pool, radio (although we got told off for putting music on!) The TV didnt work, so bring dvd`s if you need to stay in. Ceiling fans and also a stand up fan helped to cool the temperature so that was really appreciated. The pool was absolutely fantastic . Very quiet area, so if you have kids that like to play as kids do, then i would probably tell you not to go there as its more for couples and quiet. Get a rent a car as there is alot of walking, not great when pushing a buggy uphills for miles! But for couples who like to stroll, eat out (and there are so many places to chose from to eat ) it was good for food and drink, then yes. Plenty of supermarkets to buy your grocery shopping and plenty of places to eat, You need to walk to find these places but there are many a variety there. The beach itself there is rocky and lets it down but if you go abit further afield to la zenia/ cabo roig then the beach is absolutely gorgeous, warm, being able to walk out miles and sea fish swimming alongside you. The complex was too quiet. We got told off about the music (which was pretty low) and the children, we were petrified for the children to make noise to be fair! The apartment itself gets top marks and the pool ,but in fairness the area is more for couples and not familes.

just arrived back from 10 days here and its in a great location pool is great very near to 2 super markets and loads of bars and resteraunts all 5 min walk away and a lovely beach 10 min walk, the only issues we had really is there is a tv but doesnt work, although you can play dvds on it just no tv reception, our little girl was ok with dvds but could be a problem for others who love cartoons or the like, there are 4 ceiling fans only 1 works properly the other 3 are useless and no aircon which is a major problem in that heat, also an oven tray would have been nice, apart from that its a nice place with lovely people, mark and shirley who manage the place are lovely and john and his wife lovely people also and will help out in any way they can, they lent us an air cooler free of charge, it wasnt aircon but did help a little. i saw a portable aircon unit in super market for 200 euros and very nearly bought it my self, i think the owner needs to consider this as i would gladly pay for the usage costs all in all a nice place with lovely people as neighbours and lovely and quiet with all you need near by. if the aircon situation is sorted out i would gladly return and recommend no problem.

Apt. spacious and well laid out - balcony lovely and the pool was great. Convenient for shops, restaurants, main roads etc. However it wasnt very clean, cooker and fridge had obviously never been cleaned and it was very dusty. My husband cleaned the windows which were very dirty. A few improvements would make this a great place - a tin opener, bottle opener, chopping board, salad/fruit bowl. Most of all some decent pillows! There was no safe in the bedroom although we were told there was(unless it was very well hidden!) also no key for swimming pool(we had to be let in by other guests)

Carol,Were sorry that the apartment was not very clean, we will make sure that it is cleaned properly before our next guests arrive. Also we will make sure the items you mentioned are supplied for the next guest (tin opener, bottle opener, chopping board, salad/fruit bowl, decent pillows, key for swimming pool). There is a safe in the apartment, it is in the floor of the wardrobe.Again all i can do is offer our apologies.

I thought the apartment was very spacious, which was good with a boistrous three year old. The lay out of the apartment was good and I liked the fact it had a washing machine and an iron. The bathrroom was very good ... a choice of bath and shower. The bedrooms were adequate with plenty of storage. The apartment was modern and clean. On the down side the table in the lounge was very unstable which was no good with a small child. The balcony plastic table was broken at the edge with a very sharp broken side that my son ran into and hurt his chest on. The kitchen has no breakfast bowls, chopping board or tin opener. However, the oven worked ok and fridge/freezer was spacious. While we were there the pool was closed due to a leak. This meant we could noat access it for 3 days. This was a huge disappontment for my son, but obiously it was nobodys fault and just unfortunate. The reason I would only rate the apartment as fair is beacuse of its location. It was hard to find and we found the area far too touristy with not enough to do with a toddler. The nearest beach was nt great but there were better ones up the road. The apartment itself was adequate. The pool was the best bit and there were plenty of supermarkets in the area. You could not stay in this area without a car. If I went to spain again I would want to see the real Spain and not be in such a touristy area where everything is so over priced.

This apartment was certainly much better than the pictures led us to believe so was very pleased!! It is in an ideal location if you want to relax during the day as the pool is marvellous, the people that live in the area are extremely welcoming and always on hand if you wanted to know where anything was or for decent restaurants! We usually hire a car when visiting this area but for the 1st time this year we decided not too, we had some wonderful walks visiting the different beaches, which i have to say have certainly improved since our last visit! There are lots of lovely places to eat in the area with just a 10-15 minute walk which was brilliant. There was nothing i could fault, we had a simply wonderful time! VALUE FOR MONEY THIS CERTAINLY IS!!!!
We drove to the property from Alicante airport in under an hour the directions provided were absolutely spot on! Shirley was there to meet and greet and showed us around the property and made us feel really welcome. The apartment was exactly as described, and ideal for our party of three adults. It was clean and tidy and had all the fixtures and fittings youd expect. The balcony gave great views over the rooftops to the sea beyond, and the sunbeds provided were certainly well used in the week we were there! The apartment complex has a swimming pool and quiet shady garden area. The pool was scrupulously clean and the garden nicely laid out and well maintained. We used the local shops practically every day a 5-minute drive / 15 minute walk gets you to supermarkets, farmacia and a selec tion of bars and restaurants. Another 5 or 10 mintues stroll and you reach the beach at Punta Prima. Certainly a quick and easy drive, and easily walkable. All in all a great value apartment in a quiet development.
My friend and I stayed at this property for 1 week and had a great time. The location was good for us being only 10-15 mins walk from the main area of Punta Prima which has a Supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. You can also get a bus from this area into Torrevieja. The property has a nice communual garden and pool area and a sea view from the terrace. We found the neighbours are very helpful and friendly. As previous reviewers have said, the photos dont do it justice. Good value for money and I would definately recommend to friends or family.
the pics of this apartment dont do it justice at all,this apartment without a shadow of a doubt was the best valued holiday base i/weve ever been to,excellent service from mark and shirley (the people that maintain all the apartments,(good value airport transfers,you wont get cheaper)i would recomend hiring a car as flamenca and commercialised places are a good walk however punta prima were the apartment has plenty of bars/resturants etc.location is not for families is a couples place.
