Town house overview - owner's description
Located close to Blue Flag beaches on the beautiful Orihuela Costa. A fully equipped kitchen, downstairs washroom, a double bedroom and twin bedroom
This holiday home is located just south of Torrevieja and is ideal for family sun, golf or beach vacations. The property is fully furnished with air conditioning and will cater for up to 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms, a family bathroom and a separate downstairs WC. The property has 3 sun terraces, one at the entrance to the property, one off the second bedroom and a sun deck on the roof. There is also a large communal garden and swimming pool.
Is a car essential?
To fully enjoy the area and ensure ease of travel, a car is recommended but not essential. Car hire from the airports can be pre-booked, is convenient and offers very good value for money. Parking is available immediately outside the property.
An airport pickup service can be arranged at additional cost if required. Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes drive, Murcia approximately 30 minutes drive.
Iyou do not wish to hire a car then there is an hourly bus service to Torrevieja and an hourly bus service to the local beaches. The bus stop is a 5 minutes walk, outside the Consum supermarket.
Accommodation and Furniture
The living/dining room has a four seater sofa that converts to a bed, a sideboard unit, coffee table, dining table and four chairs. The window looks out to the front of the property.
The fully fitted and tiled kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, washing machine, microwave, hot water tank, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The kitchen has a window looking to the rear of the property and a door leading to the outside galleria.
There is also a downstairs WC, with toilet, wash basin, mirror and window.
Access to the first floor is via a marble staircase from the lounge. The first floor includes both bedrooms along with the main bathroom.
The main bedroom has a double bed and 2 bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobe with hangers including an in-built security safe. Patio doors open onto the balcony facing the front of the property with distant views to the sea.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobe with hangers and a bedside cabinet. The window faces to the rear of the property overlooking the communal garden and swimming pool.
The fully tiled bathroom has a bath, over the bath shower, shower curtain, bidet, toilet, wash basin, mirror with lights and a window.
Another marble staircase takes you to the roof top solarium with panoramic views to Torrevieja and the sea, breathtaking, especially during the night-time. Here you will find a patio table with parasol along with four folding chairs that can be taken to the communal garden/pool.
The first floor is equipped with a fitted air conditioning system operated by remote control. The villa has an alarm system connected to a call centre, activated upon request. The property also includes for your convenience an iron, ironing board and clothes airer.
WiFi is installed in the villa and for entertainment you have a flat screen TV with Sky satellite giving free access to almost 200 channels, including most channels available in the UK. There is also a DVD player.
Bed linen and towels (not beach/pool towels) are provided.
No smoking in the property. No pets.
The property is not suitable for wheelchairs or the infirm. There is a small step leading to the property but both bedrooms are located on the 1st floor.
The Area and Amenities
You are a short walk to the supermarket: Consum (5 minutes walk).
There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, including the complex Via Park 3 with a variety of English restaurants and bars as well as a Chinese and Indian restaurant a Quicksave supermarket and the Post Room which offers internet access.
Via Park 5 with Chinese restaurant, Stallions a la carte, Scampis fish and chips, English supermarket and English bars.
Approx 10-15 minutes walk to the Punta Marina commercial centre with the supermarket, Captains Table fish and chips, Murphys Bar, Subway, Wok Buffet (Chinese), Greta Garbos, cosmetics shop, electrical shop and petrol station.
You can walk to the many restaurants at Punta Prima, which has Chinese, Indian, English, Japanese, German and Italian restaurants and there is a very nice Spanish restaurant Patio Andaluz.
Overlooking the sea you have the Nautlius and Punta Prima Restaurant - both highly recommended.
Punta Prima beach is about a 20 minute walk and there are several other beaches within a 10 minute drive: La Mata, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras.
The house is ideally located for golf courses. There are 4 courses within a 10-15 minute drive: Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor and La Finca (at Algorfa).
The town of Torrevieja is a 10 minute drive. The area also has a water park at Torrevieja (Aquopolis), Pacha nightclub is situated near the water park, there is horse-riding and jet skiing (summer only) at Campoamor and go-karting on the N332 near Playa Flamenca, all within a 10 minute drive.
Terra Mitica theme park and Terra Natura are approx 1 1/4 hours drive, towards Benidorm.

Car hire is recommended as the town house is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
