TWO BEDROOMED VILLA ON A QUIET COMPLEX WITH ITS OWN PRIVATE POOL.
The Villa is situated in the La Chismosa area of Playa Flamenca on a quiet gated residential complex.
The complex is long established and has mature trees and well maintained garden areas and walkways.
Situated in a block of four the Villa but is not overlooked and remains very private and secluded.
The outside areas at the Villa are a particular feature. The ground floor terrace is fully tiled, has a dining table and a BBQ all under the shade of a mature fig tree. The whole area of the garden is surrounded with Cypress hedging.
The 6 metre by 4 metre L shaped pool has a stepped shallow end and a deep end of 1.8 metres. It is maintained weekly.
The front door of the Villa opens onto the Dining Room which in turn leads through to the Lounge, Kitchen and main ground floor Bedroom.Stairs up from the Dining Room lead to the second Twin Bedroom.
There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the lounge on a coin meter.( to cover electricity cost only!)
We may be able to accommodate one or two additional children on request.
Less than a five minute walk is an outdoor swimming pool complex with a bar, dining facilities and crazy golf which can be accessed for a small daily fee.
The nearest bars and restaurants are a 5/6 minute stroll as is a small (corner shop type) supermarket. A wide range of larger well known supermarkets are less than 5 minutes in the car.
A longer walk of some 20 minutes will reach the more lively Zenia Boulevard complex with every shop, bar and restaurant combination you can imagine.A taxi back this summer (2015) was just over 5 euros.
Three Blue Flag sandy beaches are within a 5 minute drive - Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca (the nearest) and La Zenia. All have a bar right on the beach, you can hire sunbeds and there is plenty of space for ball games. La Zenia is particularly good for watersports and equipment hire.
To fully enjoy your stay at this villa we recommend car hire.
We provide all linen and towels (except beach towels) for your stay.
The Fig Tree Villa has a wood burning stove in the Dining Room and underfloor heating in the ground floor bedroom, kitchen and lounge which makes this an ideal choice for the slightly chillier months in Spain.
If this Villa is booked we do have a further Villa with a private Hot Tub and communal pools on a complex.
Please see Sueno Villa Ref 19437.
Both our Villas are situated on quiet residential complexes so not suitable for lively, noisy holidays and we do not accept young same sex parties for this reason.
If you have any questions we are more than happy to discuss them with you personally.
Had a brilliant week all in all . 7 of us went 4 adults 2 children and a baby , just enough space for our party really. The villa is very nice ,has all the equipment to make your stay comfortable. We decided against having a hire car prior to going expecting to be able to get taxis when we needed , but taxis aren't easy to come by .The weather was excellent and the kids never left the pool through the day , had a slight problem with the main door not being able to lock one of the days because the heat had warped it , spoke with the owner who had it fixed by a builder within a couple of hours. The villa has free wifi which was good and sonos music system you can connect to , the air conditioning you have to pay for on a coin system, we averaged out about 5/6 euros a day which wasn't bad because it was an extremely hot week .Theres a few bars and restaurants in a 5/6 min walk nice food sky sports etc. All in all it was a great week and i would stay here again and recommend staying here to others. Thanks Mark

Just returned from a weeks stay in June with my fiancée. The villa is situated in a lovely quite location in a gated community and was so peaceful. There are a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk and the beaches are about 5mini in a car. Mark was very helpful when we arrived and the Villa was ideal for us and very well maintained. The outside area and pool were also perfect. The best villa we've stayed in so far.Well recommended.

Just got back from a weeks stay at Fig Tree Villa. Both the villa and the grounds were beautiful, and combined with the super pool, they made for a perfect family holiday. The size and shape of the pool, meant that it was ideal for the whole family, as the children (5 & 6 yrs) were within a manageable distance from the sides, whilst my husband & I could swim properly around the perimeter likewise, with the deep and shallow ends. The Cypress Hedging meant that we felt secluded, and the contact that we did have with a kindly neighbour was positive - she came round to inform us it was a national holiday that day so wed be aware of shops closing. The roof-top terrace was an ideal viewpoint to survey the surrounding area over a quiet drink in the evening, or for a relaxing sunbathe during the day. We were reluctant to leave our peaceful, private villa but we like to explore so on one day, we made use of the pool & crazy golf complex that was a 5 minute walk away. We also ventured out to La Zenia beach (5 min drive) which was in a lovely area and sampled the Fishermans Paella at the restaurant overlooking the beach - great way to end the holiday. Were not normally shopping or mall people but, even we, appreciated how well thought-out and planned the Zenia Boulevard was. The kids loved riding round on the pedal / motorised animals. It was clean, air-conditioned, with cooling vapour sprays, and there were shows to be seen, restaurants and on the top floor, amusements for the children. We enjoyed a lovely day at Playa Flamenca beach, where the bar had all the food, drink, buckets & spades required! Local bars and cafes (5 min walk) meant we didnt need to venture out too far in an evening & some provided entertainment for the children where we could keep a watchful eye over them but enjoy a peaceful drink! We also made use of the lovely brick-built BBQ to cook some local fish. The villa was equipped with everything we needed. The pool was maintained both on arrival and mid week. The owner, Mark, was extremely kind & helpful. Would definitely recommend this villa to others.

2 week stay 13th-27th July 2013. On first arriving at Fig Tree Villa around 4 hours before check in we was allowed to enter the villa early so that was a great start and very welcome after a long trip and early start. First impressions of villa where good but soon became clear that you should never judge a book by its cover, only 2 sun beds by pool and the villa is supposed to be equipped for 6 we found 2 very dirty old sun beds on roof top terrace which we ended up carrying down ourselves. The roof top terrace could be a beautiful place to sit later in the day when the sun goes down unfortunately no chairs only a very dirty old wobbly table and the terrace was extremely dirty the only time we used it was to hang the washing out. On looking around the villa it soon became clear that it only every had a quick clean up before you arrived and for this your paying 70 Euros as on opening the louver wardrobe in the main bedroom the dust was so thick it looked like it was wearing a fur coat, dust and hair in almost every corner of every room, old food wrappers under the settee, cherry pips under the bedside table I could go on and on. The other things we noticed was plug sockets not repaired just taped up, holes in the plaster cracked floor tiles and even curtain poles just mended with sellotape I really did start to think that the owner of this property was just in it for the money as opposed to making a great place for people to have a great time away from home for a couple of weeks which a lot of people have to save hard for all year round. On our first day there we sat to have some lunch around the table by the pool and my daughter sat back on one of the chairs and the back snapped however this is probably due to the sun weakening the plastic and making it very brittle we informed the villa manager but we was not charged for the breakage so for that I was thankful. The kitchen sink became blocked after 1 day and we reported it and was told someone would be round to unblock it but after 4 days of waiting and having to pour the washing up water down the toilet we went out and bought some sink unblocker and with the help of a plunger this helped a little by the end of our 2 week stay the sink was still blocked. We as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters have stayed in many villas over many years in Spain as we love it but felt a little disappointed with this one which is a real shame as all it really needs is a bit of money spent on the repairs rather than taping everything together and hoping for the best also could do with a good old spring clean, would like to finish on the good points though as it is in a lovely area has a fantastic pool and some very friendly neighbours overall it is a very nice nice villa with bag fulls of potential. this holiday was booked quite last minute and we were looking for something quiet and private and it was totally perfect for this. Everything about the place was exactly as described. the pool was an absolute highlight along with the weather. the villa itself was clean and tidy and it was a lovely touch to find a bottle of wine in the fridge when we arrived. Just one small change that i would suggest - the roof terrace sunbeds have seen better days and really let the look of the terrace down. thanks for a lovely time

Another fantastic Villa, a shame not all visitors treat the place with respect. The previous guests had messed with the pool leaving it extremely dirty, fortunately Ian and Barry are absolute stars and visited multiple times PER DAY until the pool was crystal clear again, really you cant fault the service.
Villa has everything you need, dish washer, microwave, washing machine, tv, dvd, stereo etc and has just had aircon installed too, a lifesaver as it was incredibly hot while we where there.
Have to recommend the Rose & Crown pub in the shopping centre too, good food and the owners a top bloke.
If I had to make a criticism it would be the tiles immediately round the pool (not the patio) are like ice when wet
would defiantly recommend the villa to anyone, shame I dont have any holidays left for this year :(

"We would definitely stay there again"
We spent a week at the Fig Tree and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was very clean and comfortable. The private pool was the best part of the property and we would definitely stay there again. Just being able to sit in the private garden and swim at anytime was a real bonus after spending the days viewing houses. There is a barbeque too which is great for people who dont want to eat out all the time. The house was equipped with everything necessary for a carefree holiday. This would be an amazing holiday place for anyone with children. Its less than a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and a couple of bars – one of which had excellent customer service and served wonderful breakfasts. The owner of the Fig Tree has been incredibly helpful before, during and after our stay answering all our queries regarding Spain and we would recommend the Fig Tree to anyone wanting a lovely place to stay in Spain
1st October 2013 from Richard.
We stay in this property for our own holidays so have provided everything we need to stay in Spain and offer this to our guests. Most amenities are within walking distance however a car is recommended for a stay in this Villa.
