Apartment overview - owner's description
My apartment is a "home from home" as I have lived there myself and it has everything you require beyond the remit of a holiday apartment.
It is comfortably furnished with a fully fitted kitchen. I have a spacious lounge which leads onto a balcony with stunning sea and pool views over to Fuengirola Port which is a delight at night for dining with the glittering lights along the coast. Often The Rif mountains of Morocco can be seen against the sunset.
I have 2 spacious bedrooms , one en suite, the property is approached from street level with its own entrance and rear patio with flower borders.
A Carrefour supermarket, along with restaurants, bars, pharmacy and newsagent, are short walking distance. there is 24 hour petrol station just up the road for basics.
Nearby Benalmadena Pueblo is a comfortable walk ( 20 mins) or just a hop off the bus. It is a delightful typical Spanish village, with its whitewashed houses and beautiful flower filled narrow streets. There are a plethora of eating places from free tapas to Michelin star restaurants
The property is ideally situated with the busy coast nearby, but set in a tranquil mainly residential area, lush with trees and gardens. It is ideal for chilling by the pool, or exploring; either using public transport running nearby, or by car.
The urbanisation is exclusive in a gated community with 24 hour security. The Hotel Hilton country club and spa just down the road offers everything from pampering to a high tec gym. There is an olympic size pool indoor and outdoor pools available, also tennis, padel tennis and volleyball.
The bus runs frequently to Malaga, Torremolinos and Mijas and just a few minutes away is Benalmadena Pueblo.
The train runs from the airport to close by Carvajal station; where we have a free road train running past my apartment subject to times. The train runs every 20 mins to Fuengirola > Malaga
For the kids there is lots apart from the pool- Aqua parks, watersports, Crocodile Park, Zoo, horseriding, go karting - loads!
For adults - golf galore, superb walking, exploring the beautiful Andalucian countryside. Day trips can easily be done to Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar, Ronda, and of course stunning Malaga City. Glitzy Marbella is just 30 -40 mins by car.
Explore inland to the "Lake district" of Andalucia where you can embark on the newly renovated "caminito Del Rey" -(Kings walk) which is a stunning but relatively easy 4 hour walk through the gorge of "El Chorro". Easy to get to by train from Malaga.

Outside this apartment in La Capellanía, SpainThis apartment is in the city but in a quiet area near the beach and mountains. It has a shared pool, a balcony, a children pool area, outside lighting and a sea view. Car hire is recommended as the apartment is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
