Javea is often referred to as a jewel on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Javea is a town of great beauty and magical landscapes.

The villa is located in Javea, only 3 minutes drive from the beautiful, sandy Arenal beach. This has many shops, and restaurants with views across the Mediterranean. The bars and restaurants offer a wide choice and cater for all tastes and budgets. The beautiful, sandy bay is planted with palm trees and has a number of play areas for children.

A 20 minute stroll along the promenade from Arenal takes you to Javea´s port, home to the fishing fleet and pleasure boats. It also has a good selection of shops and a wide selection of restaurants, many with seating looking out across the port and the Mediterranean.

You can also visit the traditional Old Town, which is steeped in history, with Tosca stone porticoes, gothic bay windows, wrought iron window bars and balcony railings.

There are plenty of ways to occupy yourself such as Golf courses and tennis courts.
Alternatively there are plenty of places to simply relax and chill out.

There are also numerous places to visit which are a short drive away such as: The capes of San Antonio and La Nao which offer stunning views, Grenadella cove, and the old fishing town of Moraira.

Supermarkets are only a short drive away.

You are also only a 45 minute drive from theme park, and water park.

Javea is only an 80 minute drive from Alicante or Valencia airport.

The villa came highly recommended and it certainly did not disappoint. We all felt at home the moment we arrived and were welcomed by the property manager David and his wife (who live next door). The villa is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. There is ample space around the pool and on the naya, these were our favourite spots with plenty of relaxing, reading and dining. We made use of the BBQ and even fitted in a few games of table tennis. The views of Javea and Mount Montgo are stunning, both in the day and with the setting sun at night. The beach, restaurants, bars and supermarket are all in easy reach and are just a short drive from the villa.

The beach and promenade were very clean and not too busy, so it was easy to get around and explore. We enjoyed the pastries, cakes and coffee at the Café Wien & Pastelería Austriaco.

Contact with Sue was excellent and she was always quick to reply. The information pack Sue provides, particularly the directions through Javea to the villa and back to the airport, were spot on and we didn’t get lost once.

This was our first time to Javea and would certainly recommend this villa for those yet to visit this part of Spain.

Thank you for lovely comments Adrian. I am so pleased you liked our villa & Javea so much & enjoyed your stay. We really appreciate your feedback as we strive to ensure that our villa is perfect for renters as well as for ourselves. Hope you visit our villa again very soon. Sue

This was our first holiday together as a couple and family and also to this area of Spain.

Contact with Sue was brilliant and very easy - you sent a message you got a quick reply and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Contact with the property manager whilst in Spain was just the same - A text message got an instant reply or a visit - David lives next door.

The property was large enough for us and catered for all our needs - albeit you don't go abroad to watch the soap's this was possible and therefore part of our party was happy.

We visited in October half term and the villa location and the beach front area were quiet. We were lucky with the weather and despite the forecast managed at least four and a half days on the beach.

In short a fantastic first holiday as a couple and family in a villa that had all we required.

Would we visit again..... In a heartbeat..

Thank you Sue and Property manager David.

I will also pass on your kind comments to David, our Property Manager - we are very lucky to have him so close at hand.

Thanks again for booking with us - I hope that you will visit again in the future.

Beautiful villa in fine location-centre of Javea-restaurants (owner provided helpful list of recommendations) shops etc 10 mins drive (Taxi approx. 8 euros) Large supermarket also 10 mins drive-good selection at much cheaper than UK prices Villa had everything required for relaxing holiday (we were an extended family group of parents and grown up children and their partners-all 30 +) including Wi-Fi and UK TV (Sky sports was available but don't think we used it-weather too good to sit inside) Property manager right next door but never needed his assistance after the initial welcome briefing Would certainly recommend this villa and the town of Javea-was our first time for both but would definitely go back

The villa is fantastic, very comfortable and well equipped. Wonderful views and many happy hours spent outside.
The beach is around 15 - 20min walk and shops and restaurants close by.
Javea is a really established location in Spain which was nice to see.
A great holiday had by all.

What a fabulous time we had! The villa far exceeded our expectations and we had a very restful, relaxing and HOT holiday. Would definitely return as we had such a wonderful time. We have been to Javea many times before and were surprised at how close we were to the beach (although a car is definitely needed to see Javea). Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!

What an awesome holiday villa! We couldn’t get our girls out of the pool so we sat on the large patio area around the pool or under the cover of the brilliant naya and read books. The inside of the villa is extremely spacious. Enormous kitchen, 4 very good bedrooms, two with en suites plus a family bathroom. Large lounge which is very comfortable with Sky tv, cds etc so you can keep up to date with Corrie! All furniture and fittings are lovely. We used the barbecue in the outside kitchen area and ate all the time outside under the naya with table and chairs for 8 plus lounge area overlooking the pool. The garden areas of this villa are lovely and large with many shrubs and trees. The views from the garden and pool area are stunning with the Montgo a brilliant backdro p in the distance behind the town of Arenal. Car hire recommended but not essential if you get a taxi from Alicante. Villa is a 3LJ minutes drive to Arenal Beach and town where we found lots of restaurants offering excellent choices of food and prices, with the less expensive ones also very good. The beach is stunning with a diving platform not far off the beach - our girls had a great time there. The promenade is wide and gives an easy walk along past shops and restaurants to the harbour about 20ᆲ mins walk away. As Arnie said , we'll be back!John, Karen and family (visited autumn 08 and summer 09)

A stunning villa with fabulous views over Mount Montgo. 8 of us stayed here for two weeks and had a fabulous holiday. It is very quiet and relaxing yet only a few minutes drive away from the lovely sandy beach and restaurants. We thought the villa was the best we have ever stayed in, it had everything we needed plus so much more, the inside is gorgeous and really comfortable. The outside space is stunning and it was so relaxing knowing the children could play safely in the gated grounds. Javea is lovely and we enjoyed spending time on the sandy beach and walking in the old port, the restaurants were very child friendly offered a wide selec tion of food. We especially enjoyed getting the children to bed and sitting in the naya with a bottle of wine enjoying the views over the Mount Montgo. We loved this villa and will definitely book again.Phil and Michelle

We want to say many thanks to Richard and Sue for letting us rent their beautiful villa - we had an absolutely fantastic week. The location is ideal - Javea is just an hour's drive from Alicante airport and the villa is only 5 minutes from a great beach and a super choice of restaurants. The villa is very roomy with plenty of space in the living areas and bedrooms. All of the rooms are light and airy and very well presented and all four bedrooms are of a good size and two of them have excellent en-suite bathrooms. The villa is very well equipped both inside and out - the kitchen has everything you'd need and the satellite TV and DVD player came in handy to keep the children entertained. The barbeque area is a good idea and there is plenty of furniture in the poolside area.We very much enjoyed taking our meals on the naja with lovely views of the beautiful garden. However, the highlight of our holiday was the lovely pool with its splendid views of the surrounding area afforded by the villa's elevated position. The pool and gardens are completely enclosed and so very safe for young children which meant mum and dad could relax for a few minutes too.We would thoroughly recommend the villa for a quiet family holiday and we have already booked to return in 2010.Best regardsPeter & Nikki

Without a doubt one of the best villas I have stayed in. It has all the mod cons and facilities you’d expect plus there’s loads of space in the villa, the garden and around the pool, which is great when you have two boys. My wife loved the walk through dressing room and the view in the morning from the bedroom window well you need to see for yourself!! There is everything you will need to have a great break and come home feeling completely relaxed. We will definitely use again – in fact we have already booked. Enjoy! Richard Harvey
