Villa overview - owner's description

POOL TABLE, TABLE TENNIS TABLE - FOOTBALL TABLE - Wii U - Giant Connect 4 & Jenga. Voted 4/5 STARS for last 4 years!..........
Pool table - Two Full HD 42" TV's with FreeSat - FREE Wi-Fi

Villa "Media Luna" 5 stars on both TripAdvisor and Clickstay.

Clean, exceptionally well equipped villa with WiFi and UK TV, stunning gardens with plenty of shady terrace areas for relaxing or sun bathing by the crystal clear pool. The villa is on one level and outside there are only a few steps throughout the property.

Pool table, table tennis, table football, giant Jenga & Connect Four, there is plenty to keep everyone amused throughout the holiday without even leaving the villa! Inside you have UK TV, Xbox, Wii U and various board games for all ages.

Complete summer kitchen with gas BBQ and griddle for outside dining. The swimming pool has Roman steps for easy access to the shallow end. The pool and spectactular gardens are automatically illuminated till 12pm. The property is completely walled and secure.

Javea's festivals, fiestas and open air concerts provide excellent entertainment and free music for you to enjoy. There is also a few discos (night clubs) scattered around Javea if you do want to dance till the early hours. However, the atmosphere across the majority of Javea is more chilled and the emphasis is on fine dining and late chats on the restaurant terraces. Lower key than the big resorts and it is easy to escape the festivities if that is your preference.

There are 3 main areas of Javea, The Old Town, Port and Arenal providing you with everything from the traditional narrow Spanish streets of the Old Town to the modern buzz of restaurants and bars on the beachfront in the Arenal.

Within easy reach of Javea are some fantastic Golf Courses like La Sella, Real De Faula, Alicante and of course El Saler. Or if Tennis is your thing then there are plenty of courts around.

There are a number of beaches to choose from in the area from the quiet bays of Grenadella and Barracca to the traditional sandy beach of the Arenal and after a long day of sleeping on the beach you will be spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars.

Within 30 minutes there is a theme park (Terra Mitica) and water parks for the all family.

Pretty Spanish villa with private pool, beautiful secluded garden with various sunbathing, relaxing / chill-out areas. Only 1.3km to Javeas sandy Arenal beach. 4 Double bedrooms sleeps 8 comfortably. Large kitchen with dinning area. Covered BBQ & summer kitchen with gas BBQ and griddle, patio dining for up to 12 guests. Various patios plus covered terrace with drinks fridge to shade you from the midday sun. Outside lighting & illuminated swimming pool enables you to enjoy those warm Mediterranean evenings alfresco. The villa is all on one level with a few steps in the garden. Full HD 42" TV with BBC and ITV (many other UK channels). Playstation 3 and Wii with Wii fit included to keep all the family entertained! Outside there is a full size UK pool table for your enjoyment.

Large Group from Forres, United Kingdom Sep 2016

We had a wonderful holiday. the group was made up of two adults and three grown up children and partners. We wanted a chance for us all to spend time as a family away from the usual stresses of work and commitments. It was just so fantastic. We were all able to just hang out here together without being bored. The pool was a great bonus and we spent time just relaxing, reading and playing with the abundance of games and activities supplied by the owners.
The owners were friendly and helpful and also just a stones throw away if needed but never in your space either which was great. The villa was beautiful with every cooking implement pot pan etc you would ever need. The villa was clean and homely and the gardens beautiful.
The only small downside is the fact there is nowhere you can walk in the vicinity of the villa without having to be on a main road. For 2 avid walkers we found it disappointing that you couldn't just walk out of the villa for a stroll.... but having hired a car we were able to drive to the beach and other local areas and have walks. I think a car or bicycle is needed when staying here as it is quite a distance to walk on very busy roads to get to the town.
We had a fantastic holiday and I will most definitely come again when bringing the ever expanding adult family away for R&R. Thank you.

Friends from Berkhamsted , United Kingdom Aug 2016

We hired this lovely villa for a weeks break with friends.
David and Christine were more than welcoming and always on hand to provide information about te town, beaches and some restaurants.

The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need for lots of cooking, great BBQ area too.

Great to have the football table, table tennis and pool areas.

Family from Bonvilston, United Kingdom Jul 2016

Great Villa and even better hosts, David and his wife were excellent, looked after us and pointed us in the right directions wherever required. The perfect area for a relaxing holiday but if you want a little more action then that is also available, loads of restaurants and shops in the usual tourist area other than that a car may not be a must but I would recommend it, we went for a few drives out of the area to Valencia and Madrid, great days out. We will definitely be booking again.

Family from Bexleyheath, United Kingdom Jun 2016

What a beautiful homely holiday villa from the start we fell in love with it and wasn't disappointed when we finally arrived! The journey from the airport was straight forward and took just over an hour. The owners David and Christine greeted us but let us get on with our holiday with no intrusions with the knowledge that they were on hand if we needed them. The villa is very well maintained, in great order and fully equipped. We didn't have any problems apart from perhaps the wifi dropping of every now and then. The gardens are a delight and made outdoor life very peaceful and welcoming with lots of flowers shrubs and grass! The pool was a little bit cooler than expected, you could pay to have it heated but we paid for two weeks of air con you just have to weigh up your needs. You need a car to get out and about to supermarkets, Denia, Benidorm etc. We also used Javea Taxis (very prompt and reliable) into Arenal Beach to visit the bars and restaurants cost around €8 each way. Overall one of our best holiday villas. Have already recommended to family and friends and will most definitely return in the future. Thank you David, Bev and family

Family from Burnham-on-sea, United Kingdom May 2016

I was fortunate to book Melia Luna for three weeks, May-June .
My first week I was joined by my grown up daughters, son-in-law and four young grandsons. "For a holiday in a life time" quote from my daughter.
The villa has everything you need to enjoy a holiday in the sun. We made good use of the out door kitchen having a BBQ several times. The boys had more than enough activities to keep them entertained.
With the villa being set in the middle of a wonderful garden , you can find sun or shade all day long.
After saying goodbye to the younger generation, my brother,sister-in-law,sister and brother-in law joined me . Instantly transforming the pool area from joyous fun and activities , to a wonderful peaceful calm swimming, reading, relaxing area.
The villa really is wonderful for all ages .
I walked just a short distance down the road , to the L'Escut restaurant several times with both parties and enjoyed excellent food each time .
David and Christine live next door and were always available when needed .
I am hoping to return for yet another ' holiday of a life time ' soon.

We had a fantastic time in Javea, villa is well above average and has absolutely everything a family could want, our children were kept busy all the time, pool table, table football, ping pong plus various other outside games. Inside there is a two large TV's with games, DVD's etc and all the UK channels, we were worried they would be bored as we were visiting out of season so it would be too cold to use the pool, but there was plenty to do. The villa was spotless and the gardens are beautiful. David and Christine were really helpful and knew everything about Javea. Our youngest had to visit the doctor we ear ache and Christine took us to the local clinic where they found the problem straight away, thanks Christine, this would have been a nightmare without your help. We will recommend to all our friends.

An office colleague recommended this villa to us. We are glad he did, we had an adventure packed week in Javea. The owners next door new all the right places to keep our teenagers from getting board. Here are just some of the things they crammed into the week: body boarding, stand up paddle boarding, mountain biking and exploring huge caves right on the sea front. The villa is large, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped. Thanks for everything and we will be back next Easter!

We had a great holiday. David and Christine made sure everything was good for us. This was our treat to our daughter and son and our young grandchildren. Two clean cots and high chair where provided that made life really easy as they doubled as playpens. we cant thank Christine enough as one of the babies was stung on the face by a wasp on the beach. Christine immediately took us down to the local health centre where the doctor was fantastic checked over Amanda and gave us some antihistamine. Within a couple of hours she was as right as rain again. Villa is great - spotlessly clean and has everything thing you need and it all works. This trip there was 6 adults and 4 grandchildren, with cots for the two infants in the parents bedrooms it was a bit of a squeeze, if they had put them in the hallway it would have been easier. Loads of room in the kitchen and sitting room etc. Outside is spectacular, loads of room and different places to sit & sun bathe etc. The outside kitchen with BBQ makes cooking a pleasure so we only ate out a couple of times. There is a covered lounge area outside that is idillic for getting out of the sun. We have already booked up again (just the two of us this time) for later this year. Thanks again to David and especially Christine, see you in a couple of months.

Have just got back from Javea. Villa was superb and very clean, had everything that you could possibly need. Gardens, patio and pool are all stunning. The english TV, games consoles, Wi-Fi and pool table where invaluable to us as we had a couple of days of rain (it was January) and the kids where kept happy playing games and watching TV. We have been coming to Javea for 8 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in by far. Well be back. - Cathy. Kent

We were recommended David and Christines villa by our next door neighbors who stayed in the villa with their family and grand children. The whole family have never stopped raving about the villa and Javea since returning (they have already booked another 2 weeks this summer. The villa is perfect, the garden is beautiful and we wanted for nothing throughout our stay. My elderly mother was with myself and my wife, my mother loved the villa and gardens all being on one level and she spent a lot of time sitting and reading whilst enjoying the sun. This was our first trip to Javea and we have already booked the villa again this Autumn. David and Christine made our first visit unforgetable, they recommended restaurantsand cafes, helped us plan trips into the mountains (less than 30 mins. drive away - the almond and cherry blossom was amazing and the views and scenery stunning). Having lived in Spain for over 25 years David and Christine know everything about the area which made our holiday certainly one to remember. We are counting our days until our next visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
