Javea's festivals, fiestas and open air concerts provide excellent entertainment and free music for you to enjoy. There is also a few discos (night clubs) scattered around Javea if you do want to dance till the early hours. However, the atmosphere across the majority of Javea is more chilled and the emphasis is on fine dining and late chats on the restaurant terraces. Lower key than the big resorts and it is easy to escape the festivities if that is your preference.
There are 3 main areas of Javea, The Old Town, Port and Arenal providing you with everything from the traditional narrow Spanish streets of the Old Town to the modern buzz of restaurants and bars on the beachfront in the Arenal.
Within easy reach of Javea are some fantastic Golf Courses like La Sella, Real De Faula, Alicante and of course El Saler. Or if Tennis is your thing then there are plenty of courts around.
There are a number of beaches to choose from in the area from the quiet bays of Grenadella and Barracca to the traditional sandy beach of the Arenal and after a long day of sleeping on the beach you will be spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars.
Within 30 minutes there is a theme park (Terra Mitica) and water parks for the all family.
Pretty Spanish villa with private pool, beautiful secluded garden with various sunbathing, relaxing / chill-out areas. Only 1.3km to Javeas sandy Arenal beach. 4 Double bedrooms sleeps 8 comfortably. We had a fantastic time in Javea, villa is well above average and has absolutely everything a family could want, our children were kept busy all the time, pool table, table football, ping pong plus various other outside games. Inside there is a two large TV's with games, DVD's etc and all the UK channels, we were worried they would be bored as we were visiting out of season so it would be too cold to use the pool, but there was plenty to do. The villa was spotless and the gardens are beautiful. David and Christine were really helpful and knew everything about Javea. Our youngest had to visit the doctor we ear ache and Christine took us to the local clinic where they found the problem straight away, thanks Christine, this would have been a nightmare without your help. We will recommend to all our friends.
Hi Cliff and family, thank you for taking time to review our villa. We hope Oliva is over her ear infection. We look forward to seeing you all sometime in the future. Kind regards David and Christine

We booked this villa at the last moment for a short break, so glad we did, the owners made the booking easy and our stay delightful. The house is tremendous: clean, comfortable, homely and kitted out with every possible thing you could need. The gardens, patios and terraces are really pretty and we were able to make the most of the sunshine even though it was December. Javea is a really nice seaside village and the owners advised of of some really great places to take in a morning coffee overlooking the sea and also two fabulous typical Spanish restaurants which are in the old part of the village with cobbled streets and little lanes. One of our more memorable holidays, we can highly recommend everything about our brief stay. Thank you very much.
Hi Amanda, thank you for taking time to review our villa. Hopefully you will return again for a longer stay and you will be able to experience all Java has to offer. Kind regards David & Christine.

The owners helpful and available. Traffic noisy in the mornings and woke us up. Moskitos. Garden cleaners very noisy and unpolite last morning. The house had good size, pretty good planned and was well cleaned, old kitchen machines. Nice garden with lots of plants. And a nice pool. A bit far to everything, car is needed.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review our villa, your thoughts and feedback are most helpful. We will be completely refurbishing the whole kitchen and breakfast/dining area at the end of this season, as you can appreciate with so many guests using the villa the electrical kitchen items do get very heavy use especially the washing machine and dishwasher. Kind regards David and Christine

Beautiful spacious villa and exceptionally well equipped. The garden is stunning. The steps around the villa might prove risky for young children. Had a bit of difficulty finding the villa as the number would have been difficult to see if walking! Suggest an investment in a larger number, plus parking is in the road at the side not opposite main entrance and that road should have been named. Air conditioning should be included in the rental charge although wasn't required during our stay, but as advertised rankled slightly to be told an additional charge at a later date. The area is lovely and uncommercial, with lots of lovely restaurants. Overall excellent. Thank you.

The villa description was accurate. The gardens and outdoor facilities were as expected. We were a little disappointed with regards to the distance from the town. Although you could walk it, it took 25-30mins and we usually walk quite briskly. The latter part of the walk back from town is along a windy unlit road with no footpath so make sure you bring a reasonable torch. Taxi's cost anything between 6.50-8.00€ depending on who picks you up.
We did ask for towels to be changed every couple of days, which the owners were happy to do. Our only other issue is that although the villa was not rented as a serviced villa, We would have hope for a 10 day stay the the sheets would have been changed some time during the stay. Particularly as the temperatures are high. This is something we have experienced in the past when renting another villa for 10 days. Otherwise a lovely villa with good facilities.

An office colleague recommended this villa to us. We are glad he did, we had an adventure packed week in Javea. The owners next door new all the right places to keep our teenagers from getting board. Here are just some of the things they crammed into the week: body boarding, stand up paddle boarding, mountain biking and exploring huge caves right on the sea front. The villa is large, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped. Thanks for everything and we will be back next Easter!
We had a great holiday. David and Christine made sure everything was good for us. This was our treat to our daughter and son and our young grandchildren. Two clean cots and high chair where provided that made life really easy as they doubled as playpens. we cant thank Christine enough as one of the babies was stung on the face by a wasp on the beach. Christine immediately took us down to the local health centre where the doctor was fantastic checked over Amanda and gave us some antihistamine. Within a couple of hours she was as right as rain again. Villa is great - spotlessly clean and has everything thing you need and it all works. This trip there was 6 adults and 4 grandchildren, with cots for the two infants in the parents bedrooms it was a bit of a squeeze, if they had put them in the hallway it would have been easier. Loads of room in the kitchen and sitting room etc. Outside is spectacular, loads of room and different places to sit & sun bathe etc. The outside kitchen with BBQ makes cooking a pleasure so we only ate out a couple of times. There is a covered lounge area outside that is idillic for getting out of the sun. We have already booked up again (just the two of us this time) for later this year. Thanks again to David and especially Christine, see you in a couple of months.
Have just got back from Javea. Villa was superb and very clean, had everything that you could possibly need. Gardens, patio and pool are all stunning. The english TV, games consoles, Wi-Fi and pool table where invaluable to us as we had a couple of days of rain (it was January) and the kids where kept happy playing games and watching TV. We have been coming to Javea for 8 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in by far. Well be back. - Cathy. Kent
We were recommended David and Christines villa by our next door neighbors who stayed in the villa with their family and grand children. The whole family have never stopped raving about the villa and Javea since returning (they have already booked another 2 weeks this summer. The villa is perfect, the garden is beautiful and we wanted for nothing throughout our stay. My elderly mother was with myself and my wife, my mother loved the villa and gardens all being on one level and she spent a lot of time sitting and reading whilst enjoying the sun. This was our first trip to Javea and we have already booked the villa again this Autumn. David and Christine made our first visit unforgetable, they recommended restaurantsand cafes, helped us plan trips into the mountains (less than 30 mins. drive away - the almond and cherry blossom was amazing and the views and scenery stunning). Having lived in Spain for over 25 years David and Christine know everything about the area which made our holiday certainly one to remember. We are counting our days until our next visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
