The property is situated in thebeautifull Jalon valley surrounded by mountains just a few minutes drive from the village of Jalon. The valley is spectacular and unspoilt with Almond and Olive trees, Orange groves and Vineyards. The area is full of wildlife and natural beauty and has a wonderful ambience.

The Jalon valley offers some of the best scenery and climate in Spain. There are many facilities within the valley including walking, hiking, bird watching, cycling, rock climbing, mountaineering, horse riding, tennis etc.
Scattered throughout the valley are the unspoilt villages of Alcalali, Lliber, Orba and Parcent with many bars and restaurants that offer both Spanish and international cuisine, you can sample the famous local wines in the many Bodegas or try some with Tapas in the bars all within 10 minutes drive.
There are at least five beautiful beeches within an easy 20 minutes drive.
The wonderful Costa Blanca beaches at Denia, Moraira, Calpe, Javea, Altea, Pego and Benidorm are just a short drive away some 20 to 45 minutes, depending on your choice.
There are also some very good golf courses within a 10 to 45 minute drive.
The Moors and Christian festivals held in the area are spectacular and colourful.

What a superb property! Very spacious, comfortable and clean with all of the fixtures and fittings one could need. The pool is only a few steps from the door . The private patio has great views and is ideal for sunbathing and bar-b-Qs. Easy car parking and only a short journey into Jalon village for restaurants,bars and excellent bodegas! (we walked it a couple of times, only about 1/2 hr).Our first stay in this area but certainly not our last!!

An excellent family property. Well equipped and furnished. The local area is ideal for walking and Jalon and the many surrounding villages have numerous bars and restaurants. It is well placed for visiting the many pretty coastal towns. We had a great time there.
Had a fantastic 10 days in the Jalon Valley. The house is extremely comfortable and ideally situated whether you want a holiday inland or want to go to the beaches. The house is extremely well equipped and comfortable with just about everything you could want. Its ideal for a family or for two couples. Jalon is an interesting town and there are several interesting villages nearby all within easy walking distance alon quiet country roads. Highly recommended.


About the owner
We are a retired couple, young at heart who in 2011 purchased a holiday home in the beautifull Jalon Valley after holidaying in the valley for some 5/6 years. We and our families and close friends have used the house as a holiday retreat and have enjoyed it immensely. We have both worked in the education sector for many years and are now enjoying our retirement. We are looking to rent the house to people who like ourselves enjoy the countryside and the Spanish way of life and also being within easy reach of the coast.
