This two-bedroom apartment with roof terrace is located in the heart of Iznájar and is surrounded by bars, restaurants, traditional Spanish supermarkets as well as a butcher, bakery and greengrocer (selling home grown fruit and vegetables). The apartment and roof terrace both have breathtaking views of the Iznájar Lake as well as the olive groves.
Iznájar is just an hour's drive from Málaga airport but retains all of its Spanish charm with friendly locals and offers an inland beach, lake, traditional shops, churches and a castle which was constructed in the 7th Century, making Iznájar Spain's best kept secret!
If lying on the roof terrace isn't your thing, then why not take a short drive (3 minutes) or walk (30 minutes) to the inland beach where you can sunbathe, swim, kayak, sail in the freshwater lake and enjoy local food and drinks in the beach bars. If walking is your preferred activity, then don't forget your hiking boots, as there are some truly magnificent hikes in the area. For winter holidaymakers, Iznájar is only a 90-minute drive to the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada, the highest ski resort in Europe so you can ski until May. Unbelievably you can ski in the morning and sunbathe on your roof terrace in the afternoon!
Iznájar is situated in the Andalucían province of Córdoba in Southern Spain, and borders two additional Andalucían provinces; Málaga and Granada, making it the perfect location for exploring this fascinating Spanish Region. Due to the excellent motorway network, you can reach Iznájar just an hour after you've left the airport at Málaga or Granada. To date Málaga has been the preferred airport of our clients; with it's many flight arrivals and car hire options.
We advise clients to arrive in Iznájar by car; it really is the most direct route from airports and major train stations. If you drive then why not hire a car so that you can take advantage of Iznájar's location and venture further afield to see the amazing sights that Córdoba, Granada, Seville and Málaga have to offer, but please make sure you spend time in Iznájar first - it really is a hidden gem! Car hire is recommended as the apartment is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
