Welcome to our Luxurious Boutique apartment.
The apartment is on the first floor and comprises a living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms (each with a double bed).

The main feature is the striking sea and mountain views from the huge roof solarium which gives you a large outdoor living area, there are four sun loungers and a seating area, where you can relax with a glass of wine and have a BBQ, whilst enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The solarium has low lighting for the evening and night time use. We have recently added a shower on the solarium. This is a private area for exclusive use of our guests.
Alternatively there is a balcony outside the living room where you can sit and dine whilst overlooking the well-kept garden. The apartment is fully air-conditioned (with heating for the winter months).
It is furnished to a luxurious standard with comfortable good quality beds, 2 leather sofas. LCD TV with English TV Channels and DVDs. There is a JVC Hi-Fi with i-Pod docking station this has a remote to control your i-Pod.
The bedrooms have built in wardrobes and bedside cabinets, the main bedroom has a Juliet balcony with stunning mountain views. A hairdryer is provided in each room. There is a safe for your use in the wardrobe.
The kitchen has everything you need, if you wish to cook there is an oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer washing machine. With a full range of cutlery, utensils, plates, glasses, cups, saucepans and much more. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and sink, with a fitted bathroom cabinet. On the roof is a BBQ.
This apartment has feature spiral stairs, so may not be suitable for the less mobile.

Activities in Isla Plana, Costa Calida, Mazarron
Isla Plana is a typical Spanish resort, enjoyed for holidays by the Spanish themselves, it is close to the resort of La Azohia and the town of Peurto Mazarron, you can enjoy a Spanish holiday as the Spanish themselves do and at the same value they enjoy.
Isla Plana is a small village but it has all the essentials such as a good Supermarket 150 metres from the apartment, a bank with a cash machine, a bakery with fresh bread daily and pastries your diet will not thank you for, a newsagent with English papers and a Pharmacy with a Chemist who speaks perfect English, these are all within easy walking distance. We will send you a map of the area with all facilities marked once you have booked.
The sea front in Isla Plana has recently been refurbished, giving a modern but still Spanish feel, sit on the terrace of the local bar and enjoy a drink whilst watching the sun set over the sea.
There is a choice of several restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment, we recommend the nearest, La Chara for their 4 course set menu at a set price of around only 20 Euros including a bottle of wine or a large beer! (Is this the real reason we bought here?). Restaurant El Nono has an impressive setting and a high quality menu. The local camp site has a huge pool which is fed by thermally heated springs this can be enjoyed for just a few euros any time of year. This is within walking distance of the apartment.
For the more energetic, there is swimming, windsurfing, diving at all levels, sailing, boat cruises from Mazarron.
There is golf near by at the Country Cub we can provide contact details, bikes may be hired to be delivered to the apartment we can provide details on request, there are tennis courts in the village.
The area around Isla Plana has crystal clear waters, there are many Scuba diving schools in the area, have a trial dive whilst you are here. There are also wind surfing and other watersport facilities nearby.
We recommend a trip over the mountains to Cartagena, this is a historic naval port and has boat trips around the Harbour, an international shopping district as well as museums and other attractions.
You can also explore the Sierra Espuna national park which is a short drive away. The Sierra Espuna mountain range on the foremost eastern part of the Cordillera Betica, virtually at the point where the the mountains connect with the coastal plains.
A national reserve park with wild herds of Sardinian Mouflon and African Aoudad running free, The summers are hot and dry as the provence of Murcia is one of the driest in Spain, although the peaks of the sierras normally receive 6 inches of snow in Winter,the lower parts of the Espuna are very mild in the winter (tee shirt weather in the sunshine), fantatsic scenery and views with Golden Eagles flying overhead this is experiencing the REAL SPAIN.
Locally there are thermal springs, where man made baths have been dug, you may use these for free at any time of the year, these are hidden in the countryside but we have provided directions in the apartment. Local towns also have spa pools fed by the thermal waters.
For day trips, in the historic town of Murcia there is an Aqua park and zoo less than an hours drive away. you can drive to Lorca and see the Castle de Sol high on the mountain.
Any time of year the area has so much to do, we have yet to see all the sights our selves.

Local Airports and Flights to the area
The motorway by-passing Cartagena has recently opened so your journey from Murcia airport is even quicker and more direct.
Murcia airport is small and friendly and now has many budget airlines flying to it Murcia, (San Javier) is now around 45 minutes drive from Isla Plana, or for a wider choice of flights Alicante is around 1 ½ hours’ drive to Isla Plana.
It is possible to pre-book a local Airport collection service by our keyholder from either airport, if you don’t wish to drive. (However we do recommend a car hire to ensure you gain the most from your holiday)

we found this property exactly as described, it was very clean and comfortable and the owner supplied many extras, ie airbeds for the beach, beach chairs, parasols etc.
we found the reference folder left in the appartment very informative and helpful and we used some of the recommendations a few times.
barry the keyholder was extremely helpful and polite and was on hand for any queries and questions we had.

everything was as described in the site pages, once we had booked the owners contacted us and gave more information. In the apartment was a folder full of tips, excursions restuarants etc which proved in valuable, little things like this make the difference

only improvements would be water available on the roof to enable it to be cleaned and for English TV channels to be available.

The appartment was ideal for us, the equipment, crockery etc.were all of good quality. The appartment was clean well maintained and the local contact very helpfull.Hopefully we shall have the opportunity to make a return visit.
The description of this property is very accurate, and we found it to be excellent value for money. It was very well-situated for all local amenities. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, bakery, fish shop, pharmacy - everything you could want really! We were fairly lucky with the weather (it was Christmas!), but it was good to have the option of the air con/ heating for the cooler evenings. Great views of coast and mountains and beautiful sunsets to be seen from the solarium. Very convenient for us, as my parents are staying at Camping Los Madriles. Two excursions that we really enjoyed were hiking up to Peñas Blancas, and the Gun Batteries at Cabo Tiñoso -
