Overview

Situated at road level the apartment sleeps upto 4 people. There are two twin bedrooms one having fitted wardrobe and safe, the second has free standing wardrobe and patio doors opening onto terrace with views towards the mountains. The lounge area has ample seating and sideboard with satellite TV(normally BBC,ITV, channels and reception varies), patio doors open onto the terrace with views over the Golf course towards the mountains. The fully refitted kitchen is open plan and has full size oven and hob, large fridge/Freezer, microwave,washing machine, kettle, toaster, plenty of crockery, cutlery and pots and pans, plus an ironing board and iron. There is a dining area between the lounge and kitchen with table and chairs for four. There are ceiling fans throughout for you comfort. A folding bed or a travel cot can be hired if required from the owner to accommodate a further small child.

The complex
The complex is centrally located in Golf del Sur being just a few minutes walk from the commercial centre, with shops and bars and also the rocky coastline.
It is built on a slope which means that although the apartment is on the ground floor/road level, there are stairs to negotiate to access the pool areas of which there are two. The main pool area is heated between Nov and April and has a children's section.

The resort
Golf del Sur is ideally suited to families with small children and couples wanting a peaceful holiday away from the brasher resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. It is a purpose built resort centered around a 27 hole championship golf course making it ideal for golfers and also providing many green areas unusual in the south of Tenerife. Golf course discounts are available to guest using our apartment if they hold the necessary handicap (ask for details). There are also tennis courts at the golf club together with crazy golf for the children.
There are several restaurants and bars just a few minutes from the complex in the commercial centre where you will also find a larger supermarket, other shops and children's play area. Other bars and restaurants can be found along the seafront and in the nearby fishing village of Los Abrigos 15 min walk.
Costal path provides easy walking to nearby Amarilla Golf, where you will find horse riding and the new marina with Yellow Submarine trips. In the other direction is the fishing village of Los Abrigos which offers many seafood restaurants and a huge sandy beach at La Tejita which is just 5 minutes by car.
Nightlife is centered around the bars where you will find live entertainment but it is low key with most places closing around midnight.

It was our first time using Villarenters. The apartment was very nice and clean. The owner was friendly. The location is very good if you want to be in a quiet place. There was always a place for parking the car. The only disadvantages were that there was no internet and the washing machine was strange. The abscence of the internet is actually totally understandable, because it costs a fortune in this land. There is a very nice restaurant next to the apartments and they also have wifi. The pool and the poolside are also very nice. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our closest friends. We really liked it.

Property was in need of upgrade, strong smell from drains, which was mentioned to owner on leaving. Maybe it was shabby because it is up for sale.
