The Palms Golf & Country Club is a picturesque residential complex set in the exclusive area of Golf Del Sur. Landscaped Gardens, 2 delightful swimming pools sit, a Pool Bar, and extremely spacious apartments around make this a wonderful complex to soak up the Tenerife sun.
Subject to recent improvements and modernisation this lovely apartment to rent in The Palms Golf and Country Club offers good quality accommodation on a very popular complex.
The apartment benefits from being on two floors and therefore both bedrooms are completely separate. One bedroom has an en suite, and there is also a wet room.
Off the main living room is a large balcony with lovely views over the swimming pools and the complex. Here you can relax in a sun chair or sit at the table with a drink and watch the sun go down.
However, the sun worshipping does not stop there! Downstairs also has a very spacious ground floor private patio with yet more sun chairs and patio furniture. A lockable gate then leads straight out to the pool.
The apartment is newly re-decorated throughout, and feels fresh and modern.
The living room has two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. There is also satellite TV (BBC1, 2, ITV and CH4). Patio doors lead to the top balcony, with lovely views over the complex pools to the sea in the background. There is a dining table and chairs on the balcony - a perfect spot for breakfast in the sunshine!
The apartment has wifi.
The modern, well equipped kitchen has a fridge freezer, microwave, oven, hob, kettle, toaster and dishwasher.
The apartment also has a washing machine.
The master bedroom is also located upstairs and has a ceiling fan, bedside tables and fitted dressing table and wardrobes. There is also an en suite with a huge walk in shower.
The second bedroom is on the ground floor and has twin beds, bedside table, chest of drawers, ceiling fan and fitted wardrobes. There is also a large en suite wet room. Leading from this bedroom is a huge ground floor terrace with sun chairs and patio furniture. This has access straight to the pool through a lockable gate.
For those wishing to hire a car, there is free parking right outside the apartment.
The complex of the Palms is an experience in itself. The apartments are set either side of the Pool and Garden areas, with the walkways in between lined with trees and shrubbery. There are 2 gorgeous and very inviting pools, each set within their own area with plenty of sun beds surrounding them.
Picturesque passages lead you around this pretty complex. As you stroll along you will keep finding little corners where peace and tranquillity can be found.
In the centre of the complex is the Pool Bar and a very reputable restaurant serving drinks and good quality food all day.
For the kids there are several Pool and Table Tennis table dotted around the complex.

Very nice property . Looking a bit tired in places . We had a problem with the t.v. Which hadn't been tuned in via the internet properly . No one to contact about it unless we paid a fee . There's a note at the side of it saying the internet can be poor in Tenerife so it may not work . ( can't remember that being mentioned in the advert ) .
A table inside the lounge to eat at would have been nice, particularly during the sand storm . The balcony was a great sun trap and not overlooked . Chairs on it were very basic and not comfortable . The complex itself was very well looked after and we found the staff at the bar\restaurant to be very friendly . Drinks and food very reasonably priced . Overall we would recommend staying there but would mention all of the aforementioned .

We stayed at the property in May of this year. It is exactly as you see on the photos. The apartment is lovely and spacious with lots of outdoor space on both floors. The view of the pool is very pretty and breakfast on the patio each morning got the day off to a great start.
The beds were really comfy and the pillows too. The ceiling fans kept the air circulating but I would wonder how things would be later in the year with no air conditioning.
Something else which should be noted is that the property is under the flight path of incoming airplanes which come along quite frequently and are so loud that it stops conversation. It was quite irritating at the start but it is surprising how you get used to it. We even started doing some plane spotting! The local bar was friendly and entertaining even though there were not many guests. It had the basics in food and drink. There are also some really nice restaurants nearby which are definitely worth a visit. All in all, I would recommend this property if you are looking for a nice peaceful relaxing break.
We have stayed at the palms many times over the past 10 years. The Palms complex is in my opinion the best in Golf del Sur . The proximity to the two golf courses --- 5mins walk to Golf del Sur course and 10mins to Amarilla make it ideal for anyone who does not want to drive on holiday. There are ample bars and restaurants to stroll to and San Blas centre is a nice 15min walk away. This property being a duplex was perfect for two couples self contained ground floor and first floor bedrooms and bathrooms. The lounge, kitchen, and dining area/balcony being in between. The refurbished bathrooms are the best I have come across in all of the properties we have stayed in. I do like to cook occasionally on holiday and the kitchen fixtures and fittings were all fully working and of good quality. I just hope that by leaving this review It will not be fully booked when we come to book it again.

This lovely duplex apartment has a extremely spacious balcony with lovely sea views from the main living room. There is also a very spacious ground floor patio, off the downstairs bedroom, containing sunbeds and a table and chairs.
