This fantastic 3 bed penthouse apartment in the immaculately maintained complex of Duquesa Del Mar, Golf Del Sur offers wonderful sea views and 2 gorgeous sunny terraces. The apartment also has wifi.
This quality 3 bed apartment enjoys a wonderful position in the prestigious complex of Duquesa Del Mar, just 50 metres from the sea on the south coast resort of Golf Del Sur. The apartment enjoys 2 sunny terraces both with sea views. With a combination of the side and front terraces you have genuine all day sunshine. Internally the apartment is spacious and very well furnished. There are 2 x double bedrooms and 1 twin. Air conditioning is supplied but on a meter basis paid locally. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge / freezer.The living room has a sofa bed for a 7th person.
The master bedroom has an en suite, and the other two bedrooms share a family bathroom. Plus there is a separate cloakroom.
The apartment also has wifi, and access to the underground car park.
The complex has a lovely pool area (heated in winter) with plenty of sun beds. There is no rush to get your position by the pool in the relaxing complex of Duquesa Del Mar.
The complex is just a 5 minute walk from the Golf Del Sur marina with its sea front restaurants, bars and shops.
A 15 minute walk will take you to the resort center called San Blas. Here there are 3 pretty squares with boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks etc. The more commercialised resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas are just a 20 min drive away.

We found the property to be a good size and clean. I think it had all the amenities we required. It is furnished quite basically as is normal for a holiday let. The complex was quiet and friendly. We had broadband and the pool was heated (essential in winter). Golf Del Sur is undergoing a lot of building work as of the time we were there (Dec 17) which detracts from the overall appearance of the place although it wasn't terribly noisy. Being right on the southern tip it was very windy. El Medano is only about 7km away and is a serious wind surf/ wind kite area. This might not be so much of a problem in summer but makes the temperature noticeably a couple of degrees cooler than PDLA, Los Cris, Adeje etc in Winter. We had a car so not so much of a problem as the apartment was just a base to explore from. Overall I think the apartment offers good value for money.
The apartment was in a nice complex .we really enjoyed our stay there.It was a bit dated and could do with freshening up.Main shower kept filling up in tray.But wasn’t a big issue.Overall it’s a nice family accommodation.But would be so much better with brightening up a bit.
We stayed in the property end of August/ September . Upon arrival we were met with the keys and were taken to our apartment. The apartment is on the top floor it is well serviced by lifts which was interesting as we rented a mobility scooter for our elderly mother. To say the least it was tight negotiating in and out of the lift on the scooter but we managed it and we were able to leave it at the ground floor once charged up. The apartment is spacious and well maintained with good sized balconies. Duquesa is well situated in Golf del Sur and it is easy to access a variety of eating establishments, pubs and supermarkets. Being August we needed the Air Con at night which was costing us 5 /6 euro's a night. all in all very pleasant apartment and an excellent holiday.
Wonderful apartment situated in a wonderful complex. The apartment is a comfortable, clean and well equipped place that catered well for my large family. Eating areas inside and outside catered well for our group. Bedrooms large and good storage. Showers had excellent pressure, kitchen area excellent with good facilities such as new washing machine. Living room good with, music system, UK channels on TV and DVD player. Safe for valuables was excellent touch. Only downside is that main bedroom could do with a fan as other rooms have one.
Gated complex makes apartment secure and pool was brilliant with cleanliness, size, showers, toilets and no scramble for sun loungers as enough for everyone. Bases available for parasols and one available in the apartment. Only downside is that pool area requires key to get into and only one key supplied by apartment. Large groups would benefit from second key.
This is probably the nicest apartment we have stayed in at Duquesa Del Mar, lovely views over the ocean, particularly nice from the balcony off the master bedroom, where we enjoyed breakfast with a view most mornings. Good sized apartment generally, and the master bedroom is huge.
The complex itself is well maintained with a great pool area and many local bars and restaurants within an easy walk.
We normally only travel as a couple so may not use this place much in future but for a group of 4 or more it is highly recommended.
Check in was a bit troublesome, but partially self inflicted as our flight arrived about midnight so we had to use a remote key collection that wasn't easy, the agents have now said they will address so hopefully this would be better in future.
Air con was good but could prove expensive in the height of summer, we only had to use it sparingly as it was March.
The apartment also now has its own parking space in the underground car park which was a real bonus
