A perfect combination of enjoying the Spanish country side, while at the same time having the luxury of the small scale touristic adventures nearby. The house lies in protected area, so it is quite and secluded.

The house has recently been refurbished. Two years ago it was an old ruin and now it is a very comfortable holiday home. The house has fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine and dryer. The house has large openings between the hallway, the sitting area and the dining room and kitchen, which makes the place very spacious, unlike many other Spanish houses. It also makes the inside of the house feel much more modern than the outside of the house may suggest. As the house lies in protected area, the outside of the house still has all the characteristics and the the atmosphere of an old farm, like many of the neighbours.

The house is very suitable in summertime as well as winter time, as there is air-conditioning in the bedrooms and central heating in the whole house. The spring and autumn are especially nice for golfers looking for a nice break. The island is very well known for the many golf courses and one of them, Val D'or, is only 8 km from the house.

My wife and I spent two weeks in February in this well-equiped home. The location is excellent for those not wishing to be in the hurly -burly of tourist crowds.The rooms are large and spacious and well appointed . Everything we needed was readily available The plae was emacjulate. This is an ideal place for a quiet restful vacaton. A car is essential in order to visit shops, beaches and places of interest.

I have visited the island for 37 years - as y parents lived there for more than 20 years - and love the place. In the past two years I have turned an old ruin into a very comfortable and liveable house, and Can Vaqueret is the result.
