Windrift PENTHOUSE is a five star luxury apartment and is positioned on the New Golden Mile nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Andulucian mountains thus offering an easy access to both towns, nightlife, beach and mountains
Windrift is located in a small exclusive gated complex set in sub-tropical gardens, offering you the use of private parking with a lift right up to the apartment door. A large pool with sunbeds, a games room, exercise equipment and a sauna are all on hand for you to enjoy.
Our large Luxury Penthouse Apartment sleeps 4 and is tastefully furnished to a very high standard with marble floors, two sun-drenched Terraces, Master bedroom suite, twin bedroom, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and utilty room. Our complex is low rise but the Penthouse still offers privacy.
The hallway is airy and light and has a double glass door leading into the living room.
Our living room is fully furnished, and at one end we have two leather sofas and TV to provide a comfortable seating area and at the other end we have a dining area with table, chairs, music system and subtle lighting to create a relaxing environment in the evening. A Patio door leads onto the Large Terrace.
The Large Private Terrace also has a dining area shaded by a parasol, along with two recliner chairs and two sunbeds. Being a Penthouse apartment this terrace receives lots of sunshine so you can sunbathe from the luxury of your own apartment. We have views to Gibraltar and the sea.
We also have both Air Conditioning and Heating to keep you Comfortable in the summer and winter months
A door from the hallway leads into the Master Bedroom creating a private suite where there is a King-size bed, large fitted wardrobes and drawers, vanity and dressing area with large mirror. There is an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath from the main bedroom. There is also a door leading onto the large terrace.
Our Second bedroom has two single beds, a window looking onto the smaller terrace and also ample wardrobe space.
We have a second guest bathroom with shower and bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. There is a door leading to the smaller terrace and a door leading to the utility room
The smaller terrace is also sun drenched and is equipped with a table, parasol and four recliner chairs; it overlooks the pool and grounds with the mountains in the distance.
Overall our apartment offers a touch of luxury and we are sure you will have a really lovely time.

We are a 5min drive from a blue flag beach which has staffed toilets and shower rooms that are all free and maintained to a really clean and high quality. Actually on the beach are places called ‘chiringuitos' which are open-air restaurants that serve drinks, ice creams and really lovely food including fresh fish. These are reasonably priced too.
Estepona is the nearest town, which is about 7 mins, drive away. The beaches here are stunning and also 'blue flag' along with Playa De Crsito Bay, which is a child friendly beach.
There are banks, shops, a really good market and lots to see in this town. In the evening the port of Estepona is particularly lovely with lively bars and many restaurants. The promenade comes alive with jewellery and art stalls and has a great atmosphere.
Selwo Adventure Park is a 5 mins walk where you can see over 2,000 animals in their natural environment
Puerto Duquessa is a lovely port where you can dine as you overlook the many boats in the harbour
There are numerous golf courses – one in walking distance
Gibralter is a 30min drive and a good day out too where you can see the famous rock monkeys living in their natural habitat.
Tangiers is only short boat trip away for the slightly more adventurous!
San Pedro Market, Benhavis, Caesares, Puerto Duquessa, Mijas, Casares and Rhonda are all places well worth a visit
In the other direction is the famous Puerto Banus and Marbella where there is night life,numerous bars and restaurants – Puerto banus is only a 10 min drive and has an amazing Saturday market around the bullring and is really well known, you can pick up some unusual things here and cheap leather shoes. The port is great to wander around and there are a selection of shops and restaurants. At night this is a really atmospheric place, it’s buzzing and the yachts are lit up- It's a taste of how the other half live!
The Costa Del Sol has something for everyone, beaches, mountains, hiking, theme parks, night life, various cuisine, history, culture, numerous street markets and plenty of Golf – you can be as active or as relaxed as you wish.

The location itself was great, with beautiful views. The apartment was beautiful throughout, with a clear personal toch from the owner ( who must have a fascination for ornamental mirrors - they were everywhere, and some were absolutely beautiful). The penthouse terrace was fantastic, with very comfortable chairs and loungers. We never ate in, but the kitchen had everything you would need, including a dishwasher. The whole apartment was lovely and clean, and we would definately use it again if we were to holiday in the area again.
You do need a car, but we found the taxi service very good for the evenings out. Tthe little local restaurant just down the road by the campsite can be recommended, it looks a dump but had good and extremely cheap food. Even better is the El Carnicero by Cancellada.Fantastic grill restaurant, and not expensive if you stick to the 3 course menu. The beach promenade in Estepona also has some very good restaurants, and Benahavis is a must!
One warning, though! Watch that lift!! It stopped twice for us, and its not a nice experience!!

Fantastic quality apartment in a good location. Safe for the children as a "gated" community. Only slight downside is the occasional road noise for the main bedroom & terrace. Apart from that, excellent.

We had a fantastic time in this apartment - really is beautifully kept and decorated and is like a home from home. The apartment had absolutley everything we needed. Garden and pool are fantastic and it's only 5 mins in a car from Estepona. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Good location in an unspoilt area.Extremely well fitted out(just a microwave missing).Nice & quiet in September but maybe not in school holidays.However if you've got kids?.Sandra always on hand if needed.Ideal location for Estepona(5 mins drive,Porto Banus & Marbella (20 mins). Really good Venta 7 or 8 mins walk on coastal highway (Venta El Caserio) ask for Pepe. Definitely best property by far out of 10 visits to various regions.
The apartment was fabulous and more than lived up to my expectations. Extremely well equipped and furnished with real style, it was very much a home from home a very stylish one at that. The whole complex was attractive and maintained to a high standard and the pool was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.
A car is a must (as with all complexes here) The pool is excellent and there is a nice bar & 2 restaurants within easy walking. My only complaint was the beaches which are not up to white costa blanca beaches. However the surrounding mountains are fantastic. Loads of places to eat 2 mins in car from apartment, and lots of golf.
The apartment is first class, immaculately clean, 2 great bath/shower rooms and veranda for snoozing in afternoon sun. Hypermarket just down the road @ Estepona and an English one 2 mins in opp. direction.
Directions at end of journey read wrong. Past the garden centre take slip road after Park sign, over roundabout and right at next roundabout.
Thanks for the review - I just wanted to clarify the directions. I've checked with our agent who lives on site and she says the directions we send out are correct - there must be a misunderstanding as your directions above say the same thing as ours just in different words.

The property is extremely well appointed and cannot be faulted. We enjoyed excellent facilities which exceeded even my wifes high expectations!
The area, though, is undergoing a significant amount of redevelopment. Whilst there was limited noise from building works, the whole of this part of the coast is getting busier.
Having your own transport is a must.
Very spacious and well decorated apartment. Having the two balconies was great as one was always in the sun, and the back one is a great size. The complex is beautiful, nice and quiet and in a good location for travelling as you are right on a cambio de sentido.
Only complaint is that there is no video or DVD player which makes a big difference if your planning on nights in.
Overall a very nice apartment in a beautifull part of Spain.
Sorry for the delay in writing a review. But to say we loved it. Felt like our home from home. Good proximity to Costa, Would have to say a car is recommended for sight seeing. Would definetly go back and can't recommend the property highly enough.
Excellent although very isolated. It would have been nice to have been able to leave the hire car behind at times, but there was nowhere we could walk to! Security was very good but made us wonder what is going on in this area of Spain that needs this? Terraces are not very private and noise from others can be obtrusive. We enjoyed the holiday, but I dont think we will be coming back to the Costa del sol.
we have had our hols at your place and it was fab The apartment is
very tastefully decorated and spacious. The pool was loved by my 2
15-year old girls. They especially like the discos/bars in peuto Banus
(spelling?). You seem to have a really good arrangement with Pete and
Sandra - they were very nice and helpfull. Someone (Ernie) met us at
the airport and took us to the apartment. The bonus of that is that he
tells you good info about the area during the journey - like if going
to Gibralter (we did) - leave your car outside and walk in. The hire
car was fab and so cheap - picked it up at Diana Park Hotel - 141
euros for a week for a C-Max Focus - thats 2 days hire in UK! We went
to 2 water parks - the Mijas one and AquaPark in Toremolinos - the
later was the much preferred one by the girls. The local beaches are fab - especially like the beach bar/cafes they have evrywhere. We also spent a day at Tariffa - but never quite got round to a day trip to Morroco.
So it was great thanks. I would recommend your
place to anyone.
The apartment was beautiful- spacious and finished to a very high quality- luxurious in every way.The grounds were landscaped beautifully and it really was a great place to relax in .The only drawback was the need to use the car for everything once you left the apartment - beach and supermarkets were not within easy walking distance......but this is no reflection on the apartment .If this apartment was a bit closer to Estepona and on the other side of the A7 it would have been Paradise !It still was very good value and far superior to what passes off as holiday apartments in many resorts. One query- What is the reason for holding on to the £200 deposit for so long?I would have thought it could be refunded within 2/3 days at the most. All in all a most enjoyable holiday
