Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Top quality cotton bed linen is provided on a weekly basis
together with all bath towels. You must bring your own beach/pool towels. The apartment is cleaned weekly upon request. Car hire is not essential in Estepona as everything is within a 5-15 min walk. Car hire is recommend however if you want to get the most out of Andalucia and see its sights and sounds.

Next door is a 4 star hotel with piano bar, restuarant and buffet, gym and spa, Shell petrol station (fresh baguettes and croissants, essentials). 2 mins drive/10 mins walk Estepona Marina (shops, restuarants, banks and supermarkets) 5 mins drive Carrefour (everything under the sun!). 5 mins drive/15 mins walk Estepona town centre (shops, restuarants, banks and supermarkets).

20 mins drive west- Sotogrande Port (sailing, polo, golf)
30 mins drive west- Gibraltar (tax free shopping)

Golf & Ski :
Known as the Costa del Golf the Costa del Sol is famous for year round golfing. Within 5 min drive there are several good courses. 2 mins Estepona Golf: (18 holes - great summer deals) 5 mins Los Flamingos: (4 courses including 1 Senior PGA course). 8 mins Duquesa Golf: (18 holes, Robert Trent designed).

Within the vicinity there are over 50 courses all within
a 10-30 minute drive from Sotogrande to Marbella.

The sierra nevada ski resort is in Granada from Dec-Feb.
It can be reached in 2 hours and is a great weekend getaway.

40 mins Malaga Airport (low cost flights from all major airports - busy) 25 mins Gibraltar Airport. (quick turnaround, BA & Monarch cross the border).
45 mins Jerez Airport (ryan air).

Although this a lovely spacious property there are a few things that let it down. Although the description states that it will be cleaned once a week and that clean bedding and towels would be provided this did not happen during our 2 week stay. We were advised by a neighbour that in fact this never happens. Some of the electrical sockets did not work and some were hanging out of the walls which would be a major concern if my children were younger. The sunloungers and parasol provided were also broken and of no use. The pool area is fantastic but the beach directly outside is ugly. Although we enjoyed the Port area of Estepona it is a very adult resort which does not cater very well for children.

Weekly cleaning During a 2 week stay cleaning is upon request. Many of our clients prefer the privacy. There is the option to give towels a quick wash as there property has a washing machine and towels dry on the terrace in a couple of hours.Electrical SocketsAll sockets have been completely fixed for the 2008. Unlike the UK, the plastered walls in Spain are much thinner and plugs are fixed to the wall in a different manner. If you pull plugs out hard, it weakens the plug fixings. Sun Lounger & ParasolChecked and in all are in full working order.BeachThe beach is natural although during the summer season, the town hall clean the beach daily. We prefer that the beach is more natural because it makes it more private and keeps it quiet. Playa Cristo is directly round the bay, only 5-10 minutes walk and has beach bars and hoards of holidaymakers making it a noisier location.ChildrenThe port is less childfriendly with no play area but there is a fantastic playground right on the main Estepona seafront directly on La Rada beach. There is also a small playground just across the road on the hill behind Riviera Andaluza. A seaview playground - it doesn't get better than this !

We headed to Estepona for a girls weekend away from busy London and this apartment fitted the bill perfectly. The views were wonderful to wake up to and the gardens perfect for a lazy afternoon. The apartment had everything we needed. The owner was very accommodating in our arrival and leaving times and gave us some great tips for local sights and a fabulous authentic fish restaurant in Estepona port where the food was top notch. Estepona is great as it has managed to hold on to its Spanish charm and the town's market is a great place for holiday bargains. We'll definitely be back next year.

A very spacious and pleasant apartment in a great, very secure complex. Right on the beach, nice and secluded yet lovely stroll from a good beach. The complex also has really nice gardens around a pool. The apartment has more or less anything that you could need, including washing machine and iron and board, and Sky TV. Away from the noise and bustle of the port, there is great access and a short drive to Puerto Banus and Estepona town. Wonderful places to eat and supermarkets close by. The owner dealt with our booking efficiently and overall we had a pleasant 11 day stay.

Overall, the property itself was excellent, the only problem being that it is described as being 'beach front' which is incorrect. From the description, we expected a property to front on to the beach, whereas the view from the front of the place was of the rear of the apartment block in front, which was beach front apartments. There was a view from the side of the terrace and the main bedroom window of a beach, and the sea, but the description is, to say the least, misleading.

The apartment is beach front, the spanish refer to properties which look directly out to sea as 'front-line beach' property. Our property description makes it clear that our complex is beach front and there is a terrace photo in our gallery which shows a property in front of the apartment.

The apartment was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and had everything in it that you could need. Especially good were the beautiful gardens around the property with lawns, palmtrees and a lovely pool.

The aparatment is located in a beautiful and quite area, yet close to shops, the center of Estepona, beaches and tourist sites. It is comfortable and contains everything you need for a family holiday. Besides all these amenities, a definite plus are the close beach and the stunning view from the balcony. The owner was most helpful and everything worked out fine. I'd recommend this apartpent anytime.
I really enjoyed my time in Riviera, the Urbanisation is beautiful, peaceful and ideally located. The kids loved the pool and being right on the beach was perfect. Playa Cristo was great we enjoyed the beach bar with its own masseuse and the kids played to their hearts content.The apartment was well equipped and had a warm family feel.
