The villa is situated on the gentle slopes of the Elviria Urbanisation centrally located between the coastal towns of Marbella and Fuengirola. Sited in subtropical gardens the villa with a large kidney shaped pool to the south of the property it boasts good views and tranquil surrounds. The Villa has a large south facing terrace which is ideal for alfresco dining or just relaxing with drink as the sun goes down.
The prestigious area of Elviria is well equipped having 2 shopping areas with supermarkets, banks and shops. In addition the area is becoming quite the gastronomic location, boasting many good quality restaurants and bars. The beaches are some of the best in the area probably why Marriott chose the location and explains why Nikki beach part of the 5 star Don Carlos Hotel is so popular.
From the road electric gates give access to the driveway and private parking in front of the entrance courtyard which in turn leads to the main entrance of the property. From the entrance lobby two halls lead off.
One gives access to the first master double bedroom with queen size bed, coordinating furniture, fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with large corner bath, twin vanity unit, bidet and w/c. The bathroom is fully tiled in local pink marble. Large patio doors lead out from the bedroom directly onto the south facing garden terrace.
The second twin bedroom has standard single beds, fitted wardrobes and an en suite with shower cubicle, vanity and w/c.
The second hall leads to the first twin bedroom fitted with standard single beds, fitted wardrobes and an en suite with shower, twin vanity and w/c. Also on this hallway is an additional cloakroom.
The kitchen, which is fully fitted to a high standard comprises an induction hob, oven and extractor, an American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and also comes with a toaster and kettle. Off the kitchen is the utility room where the washing machine, iron, ironing board and separate wash sink is located.
There is a good selection of cooking utensils, pots and pans so the chef will have no excuse.
From the lobby there is also a stairway leading up to the second master bedroom which is fitted with 2 standard single beds which are normally made up as a king bed, but on request can be made as 2 standard singles. Coordinating furniture including a 2 seat sofa and wardrobe complete the furnishings and from the patio doors are excellent views to the Med. The en suite has shower, vanity unit, bidet and w/c.
The spacious living room is fitted with comfortable sofas and chairs set around the feature wood burning fireplace. There is a large LCD television with DVD and Satelite TV, provision has also been made for music with an iPod dock. Wi Fi internet can be arranged locally for a small fee. The room is combined with the dining area which has a vaulted pine paneled ceiling with a fabulous chandelier.
From the lounge area patio doors lead to the south facing terraces. The lounge/dining area has air-conditioning as do two of the bedrooms. The other two bedrooms have electric fans.
The south facing terrace extends along the south side of the villa and has a covered dining area which is equipped with a large round stone topped table and wicker chairs. It also has an open area ideal for sunbathing and a relaxing covered area equipped with 2 comfortable sofas and a coffee table. An ideal place for that cocktail at the end of the day. From the terrace access is gained to the large landscaped gardens laid to lawn with decorative borders and plantings, at the centre of which is the large 9m x 4m kidney shaped swimming pool. The pool has step entry making access easy for both children and adults alike.
A gas BBQ is available. The property is equipped with 8 sun loungers for use on the terrace and a round the swimming pool.
A weekly maid service with change of linen and towels is included. However, clients are required to bring their own pool/beach towels.
Our house is managed by a professional maintenance company with bilingual staff. They provide a 24 hour emergency service. We can arrange airport transfers, car hire, golf, tennis, restaurant bookings, tours, etc.
The villa is within walking distance of a small shop which caters for most needs, however five minutes in the car gives you access to 2 large shopping areas either side of the Elviria A7 junction. Here you will find excellent supermarkets offering fresh fish, meat and bread counters. If you prefer to shop at one of the open markets there is one in Elviria every Friday or 15 minutes away by car to the La Cala market, open Wednesday and Saturday. During the summer season the shops all open on Sunday but outside that time you will need to use the mini shops at the petrol stations and the OpenCor supermarket chain, of which there is one in Elviria.
Elviria has become something of a foodie heaven with all tastes and budgets catered for. A short 5 minute walk will get you to several excellent restaurants. One of our favourites is Arte Café (located at the Elviria shopping complex) where the Ribs are to die for. Then of course are the beach bars, too many to mention and they are all good - try the paella it’s what this area is famous for.
Elviria has some of the best beaches in Marbella, probably why they built the Don Carlos Hotel and the Marriot Resort here and they are only a 5 minute drive away. 10 minutes by car from the property you will find Puerto Cabopino whose beach is ideal for small children as it has a very slow sloping access to the water, plus they have pedalo’s so the whole family can join in. Then of course you have Nikki Beach celebrating 9 years of beach parties. Why not pop along and mix with the rich and famous?
There are several fitness centers in Elviria, the Don Carlos and Vincci Hotels as well as the Elviria Hills Golf club offer both Gym and Spa facilities.
Water Sports – from Pedalo’s to Hobicats and Water Skiing to Jet Skis all are provided by licensed operators. Tennis - can be found at the Don Carlos hotel, Elviria Hills Golf club, Club El Casco in El Rosario and Club del Sol in Calahonda.
Golf – Elviria has the prestigious Santa Maria golf complex as well as the Greenlife Elviria Hills par 3 - 9 hole course( 10 minutes walk from the villa). For the keen golfer the Costa del Sol boasts over 30 courses set in stunning locations.
Snow Skiing - The Sierra Nevada ski resort is about 2 hours from us and the season runs from December into May. All equipment can be hired once you get there all you need is some warm clothes. Adventura Amazonia is a new tree top theme park opened this year in Elviria the first of its kind in Spain and caters for all the family definitely worth a visit during your stay.
OUT & ABOUT
During your stay we recommend that you head for the rustic Andalucía countryside and visit some of the Pueblos Blanco’s (white villages), perched on the top of hills with breath-taking views and stunning scenery. The Moorish city of Ronda, the caves at Nerja and the Alhambra located in the city of Granada are all worth a visit, not to mention Gibraltar and across the straights to Morocco. There are so many activities available certainly enough to keep everyone happy. To keep life simple you can book day trips, and entry tickets from our Management company office located in Elviria.

Outside this villa in Elviria, SpainThis villa is in a quiet area near the beach. It has a pool, a balcony, a barbecue, outside lighting and a garden. Car hire is recommended as the villa is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
